Re: [Night 5] Masters of the Universe Mafia
im fine with snake mountain button, but we don't know for sure if it's an info thing even if it does seem likely...maybe the Eternia option is the best one.....but if we do vote for a "bad" option it does make sense to go with the smallest team..........so much wifom..........

I'm not really liking the Snake Mountain bandwagon, especially when we don't really know what will happen. I'll just *vote Etherians* and see what happens.

Re: [Night 5] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Yeah, I gotta be honest - I'm not comfortable with the Snake Mountain bandwagon either. I watched the episodes of MOTU that I could find with Zodak/Zodac in them, and there was no view screen or anything like that. In fact, they never even showed his lair - all the eps were just people summoning him to come somewhere and then him arriving in a weird chair in a square shape. (So they basically didn't help me understand anything helpful about this poll.)
So I'm gonna branch off on my own too. I really, really hope that the Snake Mountain stuff turns out well for us, I'm just not comfortable voting that way.
I was going to vote for Eternian (since that was the only option other than Snake Mountain that had a vote), but now since Etherian has a vote, I'll vote that way too. It was my original idea, and I still feel better voting that way. I really hope this works out.

I don't like the idea of voting for the baddies and I disagree with the theories posted. Therefore, I'm going to vote Etherian.

Re: [Night 5] Masters of the Universe Mafia

Night 5: Landslide
While most were not reassured by the prospect of tampering with something belonging to the Cosmic Enforcer of the universe, the group felt they would be hedging their bets, and chose to press the button that clearly referenced Snake Mountain.
A monitor flickered, as though awoken from some lengthy slumber. As the image became clear, everyone could see that vile place, ever bathed in gloom, its namesake spewing an uninviting liquid.
Then it sounded as though the computer was processing information, and soon, strange text appeared below the image of Snake Mountain. After a while, many of the people began to scan the faces of everyone in the room, searching for some sign of recognition, but saw none.
“Why don’t we press another button and see what happens?” someone suggested, and before receiving a reply, went to press the one that indicated the Etherians.
But their backlights had gone out, and the computer was unresponsive.
“We should go,” someone else said. “I don’t like it here.”
Outside, the party felt insignificant near so majestic and ancient a mountain. Such was its beauty in the predawn hour, that DharmaHelper could not help going near the edge to survey the panorama of Eternia below. He absorbed its loveliness, and was so enchanted, that he did not hear the shifting of the earth that started stop the sheer cliff wall near him. He had just turned around to scream, and gravelly soil filled his mouth as heavier boulders pounded his form and carried him off the overhang and into the depths below it.
Even though the party had scattered in hopes of self-preservation, it was observed that someone had been higher up the mountain face, just above the ruined DharmaHelper.
And on the other side of the precipice, a goat became a man.
DharmaHelper has been killed by Snake Mountain.
There were four missing PMs.
It is now Day 6. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

RIPIYWG DH. I think you were civvie.
Sorry about missing the night poll--I forgot that we were on a new poll schedule for the game.
Also, I have to travel out of town again early tomorrow morning for work and will be gone through most of Friday, so I will likely need to vote tonight.

Time for some re-reading of people, methinks!
I think we need to hear more from Dom - who has said several times that he has forgotten he is playing
he also got a bit aggressive with Snow Dog over being new
Indiglo - during the 2nd BWT lynch, you seemed to want people to think that he could be an Indy based on the Timmer lynch and what people were surmising from his almost unanimous vote. However, the two lynches were not quite the same and BWT did not get a unanimous vote the first time around. In fact, the first time around, you had no problems voting for BWT at all. Is that because you knew he would not be lynched?

The observations about Indiglo are good. I have been suspicious of her (I think. I can never keep genders straight in this game) since she replaced Anna Daniella and immediately started making excuses to try to divert attention. There are a lot of people who have been very quiet and it would be nice to hear more from them.

Re: [Day 6] Masters of the Universe Mafia
I'm about to go on break at work and try to catch up. Remember I'm leaving for a cruise tomorrow so I'll probably be scarce or non-existent in the thread. But until then I notice LT is questioning my vote on Day 3 for DH. Unfortunately I was silenced that day and therefore couldn't influence the thread. I remember being unhappy with all of the lynch choices that day, but at the time, I was getting civvie vibes from He-Man, so I used my vote to tie him with DH (like he did for me on Day 1 with boomslang). I'm still sorta lost on how DH got lynched over He-Man though, since DH clearly had fewer votes. Anyway, I'm not really getting warm fuzzies from He-Man anymore, I'm not sure that I could put my finger on it but.

It seems a paradox of the game that the most vocal players are going to be the most lynched and Nk'd. A free ride for the quieter players is the result. As to why I voted DH I honestly thought he was bad, he never made any real on topic effort all his posts were of a jokey funny way, and he pinged me.
So yeah right now my main suspect is you LT your punctuation is perfect very non civvie IMO, but....
After you, I would say LLama is there a Rez I don't think there is, it always worries me when unknown people are rezzed
Spaghetti everywhere, has he given up playing, he pinged me a lot
Timmer, IMO heis still bad.
Erm, russ said I was just listing people maybe I am, I like to throw names out there and see how people react. FH for example I still have my eye on her, but at least she threw some defence out there,
I look forward to hearing from Dom and rey was today

Re: [Day 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
All AlongtheBoardwalk, I asked earlier about the part of this post that I bolded but maybe you just didn't see it. I'm interested in why you think Timmer can't be Modulok because Modulok attempted the nightkill. It's an interesting point but I don't understand the link between Modulok attempting the nightkill and Timmer not being Modulok. Please just explain a little more so I get the link, or if there is anyone else out there that understands what AATB is talking about I would appreciate your thoughts on what this means.

Speaking of, does anyone have all the votes still?timmer wrote:I just did a readback through Roxy's posts. While she sort of defends a few people here and there, it was all done very carefully, so I can't see much in the way of connections with people. She voted for Kate for something during the night, was that the shield thing? That's about all I saw.
As for Snow Dog, I'd like people (who can talk) to reread his night posts with AnnaDanielle and tell me what you think. To me, it sounds like nubs trying to set something up. And there are plenty more baddies with btsc than civvies. More opinions are needed, though, I'm far from sure about it.
As far as Timmer, I was thinking he was Modulok but as Modulok attempted the night kill I really don't think he is anymore. Which I guess leaves one of the indie roles or something else that I am overlooking.

OK, Llama, since you are so enlightened, who should we be looking at today?thellama73 wrote:I know, and that's part of the reason why I have had you pegged as a civvie for the entire game.Snow Dog wrote:I don't disagree. What is it about his non lynch that makes everyone think he is not a baddie?
Honestly, you're all free to disagree with me, but the people who keep pretending that those who think Timmer is Zodac haven't explained themselves are either being intentionally dense or trying to throw us off the track. It's very pingy to me.
