Ooh, how super! I ain't afeared. I'm more suspicious of Made, for reasons I've stated. Also, I didn't really get the Juliets argument, probably because I'm not as familiar playing with her. Might as well make it count!S~V~S wrote:So ninjajujube, you have a chance to break a tie

I am enjoying my confectionary nickname, although a squid-flavored candy doesn't sound very appetizing.

While it could be the expected change of opinions as time goes on, it's suspicious enough to warrent someone to speak on her character/tendencies.

Also, why don't you feel qualified to speak on mongoose's/hedgie's train of thought, but you feel qualified to do so for other people? (Hint: that's what speculating about other people's actions/motives IS.....and what mafia is based on......and what you've done a whole heap of in this thread..)
This is a really weird statement coming from one of the most verbose and kookily speculative players in the game.

Re: Day 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Per Enrique. He spent a large portion of yesterday arguing against llama and myself (and others) that the case against Made was not nearly enough to lynch him. Not only that, but he said he didn't believe it to be true anyway. Following that, he refused to give any stance on Made regarding the incident, but continued to push against llama.
Enrique, what are your thoughts on Made? Do you think he is good or bad? Should we lynch him?
Here's an example from Day 1. Very non-commital.Enrique wrote:Bea I'm gonna be fair here... I've had games before where I came strongly in defense of somebody from the beginning, but then turned out wrong. Can't remember the specific players but this happened at least twice >_> Now, Made hasn't given me billions of reasons to trust him yet, but I think the case against him is BS and I'm sticking to that. The sarcastic orange did give me a little pause, and jeez how I'd hate to be wrong, but I'd sooner vote for some other people than him.
And then there is this post that strikes me as odd. I don't remember who said it before, but why would DFaraday say such a thing if they actually know each other. Could it have been pre-meditated? DFaraday says Ni.Enrique wrote:You.DFaraday wrote:So much to look over. I'm always wary of going after MP so early just because he is often lynched over nothing (although he was justly caught last time). I don't know Enrique or Made at all, so tomorrow I'll go over their stuff and see what jumps out.
Fuck.
You've known me for years, asshole![]()
Again he clarified that he did not think that Made is a civ, which makes it even more peculiar that he would argue against llama's case so vigorously. Maybe I'll just ask the question to see if I get an actual answer.Enrique wrote:Metalmarsh I did not argue for the civvieness of Made, as if I needed to say this again, I've never had a clue as to what his role was. All I knew is that the original argument was far from a VERY solid point. Honestly, I'm not even gonna get into all this WIFOM. May even end up voting for Made, lol, we'll see how things develop.

Early on, she struck me as testy, especially after you asked her to validate what you said about the chatroom. I did not totally get what the suspicion of her was, but i thought she was being cranky. Which is unlike her, she explained this to my satisfaction. I tend to think she is bad most of the time, so me not thinking that this game means she either switched up her game big time, or if she does flip bad, that my read on her is 180, and i should think the opposite of my gut.Made wrote:SVS, as we're winding down, what are your thoughts on juliets, I don't remember hearing them this game.

Re: Day 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Incase I do die, I would like to clarify.
Early in the game I implied I trusted SVS. What I said was that she had my strongest civvie read. The fact that her logic was on the ball, and has seemed on the ball makes me think she's civve. However I am far from trusting her. Her impluse reason for voting for me through a loop. Out of all the reasons she had to suspect me, the one that actually got the vote seemed off.
Basically, just watch her.
Also Dana's had a gut mafia read with btsc all game. She hasn't talk enough to get a stronger gut on, but it's worth saying. (I conclude this based on the tone I'm use to hearing from her and what I've heard in this game)
Also no point replying to this, 4 minutes left.

I wonder if somebody told HER to get in here and make a throwaway comment?Canucklehead wrote:I'm going through Mongoose's posts and am finding her stance on Hedgie a little hard to understand. If she is even bad, which I'm not totally convinced of yet.
The rest is very generic, not a lot going on. Lots of "throat clearing" phrases.
The next (RL) day, Hedgie is downright suspicious for Mongoose:Mongoose wrote:Yeah, sorry. The one where he abruptly mentioned Hedgie. It didn't seem weird at the time, because others were mentioning her too, but in hindsight, I wonder if someone told him to get in here and make a throwaway comment.S~V~S wrote:Read what that way? Linki, ah thanks Made, I was confuzzled, long day at workNote the repetition of the word "abrupt", which she previously used to characterize DF's "distancing" suspicions of Hedgie. This to me very much sounds like rehearsed or overly careful language....especially since just a few hours ago she wasn't sure why she had used that word:Mongoose wrote:Personally, I found her seemingly abrupt suspicion of SVS suspicious in of itself.juliets wrote:I am trying to understand the suspicion on Hedgie. I went back through her posts and all I saw was objection to her using the word "probably" in the above quote, the feeling being that she was trying to hedge her bets. Is this all that is out there or did I miss a big suspicion on her about something else?Hedgeowl wrote:Ok, gotta run, so voting SVS for now in case I dont make it back i time.
My feelings currently are that either MP or SVS are possibly a baddie, but probably not both. SVS's super focus on Made earlier in the game, made me suspicious, but then he redirection to Metal I found equally interesting. I would think of her voting for her top suspect. That also might have been to redirect focus from the llama-Enri-Made arguments, but I still thought it was unlike her. It made me think she was reacting to the heat she was getting about her Made suspicions.
Votes SVSBackpedalling b/c the Hedgie suspicion wasn't catching on in the thread?? (Perhaps because it was too associated with DF?)Mongoose wrote:In the intervening days, I've gone off you as a suspect anyway. I'm not sure what I meant by "abrupt" to be honest.
And then these two posts, which are very, very hand-wavey/"Move along! Nothing to see here!":Mongoose wrote:I think we were just jumpy and looking for any little tidbit to go on so early in the game.
But since you've been gone (I hope you had fun with A&E&E&C, by the way!), we've got some stronger suspecs now, as you can see.Again, note the very similar language between these two posts.Mongoose wrote:I think we were just overly jumpy in trying to find the smallest little thing that could be suspicious early on. I don't see what the big deal is now either. I think I just needed a bit of distance from the game(which setting my own game allowed me) to see that.
I honestly don't know what to make of this. Do Mongoose's posts always sound this scripted/overly careful? That's the impression I'm getting from them which, coupled with Epi's interesting observation about the possible disingenuous nature of her interactions with DF, is kinda making me think that Mongoose was a DF teamie, and that her strange backing off of the Hedgie thing is maybe a belated effort to do some distancing of her own after a failed attempt to tie DF and Hedgie together.
I dunno. I fully recognize that this is a very conjectural and not great case.....but I do find the Mongoose/DF connection interesting, and I think I'm going to vote there today. I don't expect anyone to follow me, but I do encourage you to take a close look at Mongoose's posts, which just read a litte goofy in tone to me...
Sorry. Couldn't catch up in time. Voted for Made before my time was up.

What else could it be but a switch?

Right... Except the mafia weren't keeping you alive at all. Read the postgame. DH had a lynch stop, voted for me straight away then tried to end the lynch with me being the only person having any votes. It was nothing to do with you.Made wrote:Also. For those who care, history is repeating itself. Mafia kept me alive because I'd be an easy lynch for the next day.
Read misfits, basically.

I so rarely use that eye thing. This seemed appropriate.

Re: Night 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
AP was lynched despite not having the most votes. The only person who voted for him was himself. Unless AP's vote was worth five and he intentionally suicided, what other option is there than a lynch switch? I don't think that's jumping to conclusions.Metalmarsh89 wrote:What? switch to AP? Wasn't that also a quick jump to conclusions?thellama73 wrote:Made, you are so freakin' bad I can't even stand it. That whole "oh, llama is muted? I must have been framed!" nonsense came out WAY too fast and seemed preplanned. Then you switch the lynch to poor AP? Not cool, man.
But I agree on the other points.

I'd be willing to vote for Enrique if it were to come down to it.
Also ohh yeah! I was gonna tell you, that at the time Bullz made that post, Blooper was still pretty much MIA. Even he admitted it was a valid point to raise.

It's called mafia on your cell phone+ telling canuck I wouldn't self incriminate. Obviously I would of been a suspect.thellama73 wrote:Made, you are so freakin' bad I can't even stand it. Also for all those who think I switched the vote (if it's not just llama):
Why would a mafia keep themselves alive if everyone already distrust them?
Linki- bullz I didn't actually know that...misread DH then

Re: Night 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Here's my thoughts llama. Typically, a player can't have a lynch switched to them unless they have a vote. That means Made had less than 60 seconds to see that AP self-voted, tell the hosts he wants the lynch switched to him, and for DisPor to make such corrections and include a video. This is all banking on my first point though.
I hope I don't get in trouble for this speculation, lol.
Linki: @ Enrique, I switched at the last second. My vote was previously on Made.

If your role was to switch a vote, why wouldn't you? Might as well use that role before you die?Made wrote:It's called mafia on your cell phone+ telling canuck I wouldn't self incriminate. Re: Night 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
MM. it depends on the host. Some hosts allow a switch to anyone. I don;t recall offhand what Roxys position is on that. I have also seen hosts allow a switch up to X minutes after a lynch has ended. The things that hosts have done is legion
And Roxy is more innovative than most.
I think it had to be a switch.
And one more day alive is a good day, Made.

Metalmarsh89 wrote:Per Enrique. He spent a large portion of yesterday arguing against llama and myself (and others) that the case against Made was not nearly enough to lynch him. Not only that, but he said he didn't believe it to be true anyway. Following that, he refused to give any stance on Made regarding the incident, but continued to push against llama.
Enrique, what are your thoughts on Made? Do you think he is good or bad? Should we lynch him?
LOL you're so not reading my posts. Why do I bother? It's already a pain to post from mobile and there's nothing I could answer that I haven't said before.
btw, reading the build up to the deadline, and Made remained wayyy calmer this time than any of the previous times he's been up for a lynch (here and on Misfits).
