I'd imagine there was some manner of lynch switch. Perhaps Elohcin is mafia and either she or a teammate triggered a secret ability. It's also possible Elohcin is a civilian and that's per personal secret ability. I'm not sure she was even around to be aware of her own imminent lynch though.

I started reading where I left off when I left yesterday and didn't realize I had the most votes until I got to the top of the next page! I have no clue what happened but I am so glad it did. Eloh being civ and also being the cause of wilgy's lynch is ruled out by her own testimony and her not being around when she was almost lynched.

it's possible a civ eloh was saved by the mafia to keep the attention on her during the next day phase. this requires a mafia that's in a good enough position to win that they can sacrifice a power like that easily for that kind of gambit. for example if novaselinever, made, and someone else? were the mafia and yesterday realized they were two lynches away from victory they might have preferred to lynch wilgy so we'd focus on Eloh the next day.

Alternatively, a civ with a vote switch power might have decided that Wilgy was a better alternative to Eloh, which by itself would be NAI for Eloh.

like I feel like I'm in full on devil's advocate mode but if the switch was done by mafia then why choose Wilgy? he would have been an easy mislynch. Why not choose someone who has a decent amount of trust and would be harder to get a regular mislynch on, like you or lapluie?

if the next lynch is lylo then there's a possibility that us trying to re-lynch Eloh is exactly what the mafia wants, in that specific scenario there'd be no risk to the mafia using the switch to save a civ and implicate another...
but then again..... why choose Wilgy, when removing a more universally trusted player would improve their chances?

We've lost most town manipulators. It looks like only Liu Kang MIGHT remain. Baraka does remain for scum. Thus:

5 town -1 vote + maybe 1 for Liu? = 4 votes +maybe 1
3 mafia = 3 votes
2 3P = 2 votes for... town probably right now? Iffy.

If the third parties vote against town we're pretty much screwed. If not, and if they stick with town, things are fine for at least one more mislynch.

Whether we are in Mylo, Lylo, loser-land, or in the clear for a mislynch depends on the third parties.

I don't really know why a civilian would switch the lynch either. I can understand arguments that it shouldn't make Elohcin look worse, but I don't think it makes her look better either. It's nothing at best. I can guarantee that at least one independent didn't cause that.

Another problem to consider when you figure out the numbers is Shang Tsung -- that player is probably copying Baraka's vote removal. The Wilgy switch leaves the game in dire straits, and I don't think there's much margin for error if any remaining. The game must go on.

My "senseless case" is the reason he's a corpse. It made sense and you didn't make an effort to understand it. To disagree is fine. speedchuck also disagreed with some of my points. He eventually considered the case and Marmot in general from a different mindset and came to a better understanding of the points I was trying to make. What did you do?

I was there too. You said things about the case. They were vague. "That just seems like Marmot to me." That is nothing. That is not a read. It's an absolution of a player who is under pressure for no reason.

I have no desire to upset you. I'm playing Mafia though, and if I have reason to believe that you are aligned the mafia team I am going to say so as I always have before. Marmot gave this shit too.
