I think this shake up messed up alot of plans mine included, I say we lynch people who ask to be lynched since they must have bad/bothersome roles :srsnod:

But I don't think anything to serious is going to start until next stage unless one team has a plurality/majority then they'll just coordinate not to get lynched. :shrug:

I wouldn't (and won't) lynch juliets.

That role helps with going through the shuffle faster - in case you haven't noticed it's DAY NINETEEN and it's been two months almost to the day. We now get at least two deaths during these 48-hour Days, compared to just the usual, catatonic rate of one.

That role aids us not to catch New Year's Eve still playing this.

Removing it stops that from happening.

Plus, she asked to be lynched and I've stopped going along with that ever since the early Days of such nonsense. It goes against anything Mafia-related (and I don't mean the format, but the value in taking part in such a game) for a player to beg to be removed and others to blindly comply.

My last role of course, my current role is boring. And as incentive to lynch me I'll tell everyone the power of my last role. I'd have no reason to lie about this since I lost the role and can't get it back so I might as well do my part to help share information and as a reason for people to lynch me.

I've played everything else during this game, except for Street Firefighter and searching for Quin's Buttito.

Mortal Kombo has 7/32 signed, Pirate has 4/15 and I'm not playing MM's game. Unless I'm allowed to also bring Belshazzar, Teru Mikami, Golden 2, Ron Swanson and Vompatti along, these games won't budge until likely NYE just as well.

As for this game, y'all keep removing powerful killer roles, then wonder why it takes us three months to even get to the "last" phase.

And y'all that do have those powerful killer roles, keep asking to have them removed the second you get them.

Because that's what this game called Mafia is about, right?

If this were a game with only one death and you'd receive a flamethrower to use, you'd surrender right away, right?

If this were a game with only one death and you'd roll a vanilla, you'd quit right away, right?

No? Oh is it because this is a game with up to nine lives left? Huh.

I've spent 14 cycles trying to reach my role goal and I would have even failed miserably halfway through and died, if it weren't for one of Jack's tarot cards to make me immortal.

Times I confessed who I was?

Times I requested to be lynched, because my role was too supakill?

Times I gave up?

Zero.

Times I flipped my shit, out of eagerness to accomplish my role, when I was caught off guard by those countdown exemption shenanigans?

One.

I know juliets has a soft heart and I'm 100% aware she has far bigger concerns right now than staying alive with a deadly active role in a game played on the internets, but I still resent how she put down her weapons seconds after the swap - not to mention 14 cycles after I stayed alive to accomplish something with that same deadly role.

I get the Button Pusher threw a wrench in that, but that's actual game countering and shenanigans and all. Instead, this "lynch me lynch me" and "remove me my role is too deadly" and "let's speed up things, but no wait, let's actually kill the roles that can speed up things" bullsuittery is not, is beyond un-mafia-like and it's the only thing we managed to think of during, to quote a stranger

Ok I won't comment on the Juliets thing. I knew exactly what I was doing when I voted for her.

I just want to say: there should be no reason for this game to hold other games hostage. It takes minimal effort since there is no scumhunting to be done. I can play other games while playing this one and not feel overwhelmed at all. Mind you, this isn't to say this game is bad, just that it doesn't work like a normal mafia game so it doesn't require the same usage of time to play it well.

This goes for everyone, not just you. The fact MK is stalled makes no sense, right now we should be acting as if there is no Full Game going on, not like we are waiting for Chicka Chicka to end so we can start MK. I've even said in the Mod Forum that we should allow MK to start before Chicka ends, and some people agreed. Alternatively, we could be rushing into signing up for Mountain or Pirate since we could easily start either this week if we wanted to. Just the people currently playing Chicka Chicka should be enough.

Of course, I don't want to be a dick and push busy people into playing more games, but if you have reserved some of your free time for Chicka Chicka, you should consider there is a good chance this game isn't really using up that time and you could be playing another game alongside it.

Just making a request for everyone. Thanks.

Also this game could really use 24 hour days. I've suggested it to Gman once and he didn't agree, but I want to insist. Shorter phases don't make people more likely to miss votes imo, because it's not like this game takes a lot of reading even with 48 hour phases. It could increase interest in the game instead of lowering it.

Yeah we shouldn't have killed Juliet or the SK (oops on that one my bad)

Meanwhile in mafia world I feel like we only have a few more phases before Stage 2 which should kick everyone back into high gear if not y'all can just let whatever team I'm on win, as like a welcome back from the void gift.

And if I'm doing my math right we should be down to 17 roles by day 20. Assume we loose around 3 roles a phase cycle after that then we only have six more phases which is only 18 more days! However, I suspect we have more surprises incoming and that isn't counting the flue victims so I could see us reaching the next stage much faster.

"Roles awaiting activation" are written as 22. We started the game with 21 roles, meaning 79 other ones were awaiting this activation. Thus I surmise Phase 2 would begin *after* those 22.
