Night 10: Neon Meate Dream of a Octafish

Mr. Droopy Cash found himself at a hockey game! He was cheering on the Cincinnati Cyclones to victory; it was a perfect night. He did wonder how he ended up here though. He spoke to his friend sitting next to him, "You know, I had this really strange dream last night... it involved the Earth being destroyed!!" His friend didn't respond.

The game was in a dead heat, 0-0, up until the final few minutes. Finally, a goal was made! It was an incredibly impressive shot. The crowd went wild, including Mr. Droopy Cash. "Yeah!! Go Cyclones!!!!" he yelled. His friend gave him a puzzled look, but then shrugged. The game ended with a final score of 1-0. "Yeah!!!!! We won!!!" Mr. Droopy Cash felt ecstatic. The audience burst out into excitement. Many of them then started to grab squids from nearby buckets and throw them onto the ice.

Mr. Droopy Cash was incredibly confused. He frantically looked around him. "Squids???? Why are we throwing squids?!?!" He looked at his friend again, who now suddenly was wearing a Detroit Red Wings shirt. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" He lamented as he knelt on the ground.

He didn't wake up the following morning.

DharmaHelper was distraught about suspecting Epignosis. He was so upset, that he thought he would give Epignosis a gift. As he was deciding what, however, he heard a loud ruckus, as though a room were being destroyed by a cyclone. Upon investigating, he soon found a disoriented Dom, hiding behind a piece of furniture and breathing heavily. "What happened?" DharmaHelper asked. "It was an eyeball!" Dom cried. "I think he was looking for something. He left just as quickly as he came in." "Don't worry," DharmaHelper said: "This will all be over soon enough."

Mr. Droopy Cash has been killed by The Residents.

There was 1 missing PM.

It is now Day 11. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

There was significant evidence that it was Epig, or Aces, or DP. Some of us were pointing out (quite correctly, I might add

) that the way DP was acting screamed evil. But you stuck with Epig VERY forcefully.

Looking at the roles, I think I might know why.

• Residents Fanboy – Listens to no other music but The Residents and knows more about them than anyone else. The only thing he does not know is their true identities, and is incredibly desperate to, even going so far as to steal Mr. Skull’s previous red eyeball mask. Consequently, he is impervious to being affected by The Residents, and if he is targeted by of them he uncovers his targeter’s identity with what he believes to be perfect accuracy. In reality, his accuracy in determining his enemy in this scenario really is closer to perhaps forty, fifty, or sixty percent. Again, fifty is probably a safe bet for an accurate estimation.

Could it be that you are a Resident and you've tried to target Epig, to no avail? Thus, you figure he's this role and you wanted him gone since he would discover your identities eventually?

In fact, weren't there a couple of night posts with Residents appearing before Epig but not doing anything to him?

Forget that Aces and DP did not recieve votes on nights Herman didn't kill, and Epig DID receive votes. Forget that Epig survived during the volcano event that seemed to help Herman. All In-thread evidence that stacked in my head to point me into thinking Epig was Herman. I was wrong, but that happens.

But there are roles that block, and roles that redirect. You chose to ignore all of those possibilities. You made a grey situation black and white. it's not that you were wrong that makes me think you're bad, but that you refused to see the other facets of the Herman puzzle, you just flat out ignored them and stated unequivocally that it was Epig. For whatever reason it is, you needed us to be convinced it was him.

Okay we know Bea and Vomps were Residents, so that is two out of the is it 5? I can't read anything of the Residents because of that color.

Epig if you want my opinion, which I would understand if you don't, INH always pings me and it is usually 50/50. I will say that I have never seen him talk as much as he did in the beginning of the game. It is usually what we are getting now.

Insertnamehere is my primary suspect. We've lost too many civilians in lynch votes- we've robbed ourselves of power, so to speak. So I want to be careful. Any more missteps on our part and we may be outnumbered, yeah?

Agreed on the lynch record, and I was wondering how people feel about Boats and Boomslang? I don't know either of them so I am unsure of their play style.

That's my gut based on what they say. I can back up Boats being civilian, but Boomslang...Boomslang's about in the same about as insertnamehere for me.

I'm not sure, I'm kind of looking at DH though. I know that you probably won't consider this a satisfactory answer, but that's all I've got. I'd rather admit that then just pull something out of my ass.

I've been pinged a bit by boomslang since I subbed into the game, but can't put my finger on why.

boats has also been a bit odd, but these are players I'm unfamiliar with, so I've been hesitant to pursue those leads until i get a better feel for them.

I lean more towards INH being a civ at this time. Generally he's more talkative and (forgive me, INH) sort of agitated as a baddie. Cool, more quiet inh tends to be good.

I dunno. Timmer seemed pretty content to falsely label me as a Resident using sloppy logic, and sloppy logic is historically a baddie tactic, but there's the no u aspect of it so I doubt people will follow that.

INH also seems pretty close minded in considering me over everyone else. Is it genuine, or is he scared that I plucked him out in the early game and doesn't want me to go back to putting him under the microscope now that things are starting to slow down again. These are the questions.
