Yeah, I'm not so sure myself.
I do know I will not be voting Metalmarsh though.

Re: Occultism Mafia - Day 6
I feel silly but i do not get the allusion that people are making. There is a civvie role that can live, there is also an Indy killer that gets more powerful every day or some suck. How do you know it is one, but not the other?
I am not voting for INH, I believe him to be civ with a certainty.
Who else do y'all suspect?

Much appreciated.MovingPictures07 wrote:Yeah, I'm not so sure myself.

My top suspect would be BWT, he's been just as blendy as I've been accused of being.
There is this post.
And thisbirdwithteeth11 wrote:Alright, so we have a little bit of time before the vote ends. I don't know where I stand on a MM vote at this point, mostly because the only case I see for him is that "he's blendy". Is that the greatest extent of it or am I missing something else?
BWT even admits to being blendy.birdwithteeth11 wrote:Okay, makes sense.
Of course I'm probably coming off as blendy. :P Speed games are usually terrible with my schedule, which is why I don't play them much anymore. I often don't have the time or energy to post nearly as much as I like.
I'll think about what you said. I'm not really committed to voting for any one person in particular yet, and I have a bit more time before I have to come to a decision.
Then there is also SVS.
SVS, here you accuse me of defending myself more than actually offering thoughts on my own suspicions. Your thoughts are a little conflicting though.S~V~S wrote:I don't think he's blendy, I think YOU'RE blendy
You both came in at the same time, he has 9 or 10 more posts than you. He talks, but does not say much. More of his posts are addressing mentions of him than discussing suspicions. He got Bloopers eye, and then tried to push off his vote for Nutella as a cred thing, when it really had no bearing on a LMS role.
Here you are not happy that I didn't understand what INH was talking about and questioned him about it. This I still don't like. You said a similar thing to me when I questioned you because I didn't understand what you were saying. Please tell me, why should I assume I know what someone is talking about when I really don't? That ideology just seems to have a little bit of malice to me.S~V~S wrote:What I think INH meant, and I thought it was fairly obvious, was that Abremelin would PLAY the game that way, not that he was ALIGNED that way by the host. The host clearly aligned him as Indy/secret role. But playing the game as a civ would be the best viable way IMO, especially if the theory that Abremelin could not kill until the Mafia was gone is the correct one. It is also possible he chose not to kill to lull the civs and to hide a bit better.
I asked people to reread Blooper to see if they could come up with a reason someone might kill her; have you? Do you have any ideas on who might have wanted to kill her?
Feel free to offer some input Dom and MP. You two seem lost, so maybe we can get this ship turned around?

chowchow don't really have much honeytongued progressiveness toga BTSC convergency but I incredibility post anyway. S~V~S, it is possible MM could be the Indy, but I don't know, I'm leaning occam's razor on this for now. I at least want to see what we can try today.
MM, I'd be willing to vote BWT possibly. Reason I voted for you pretty much came down to the replacement factor, so it makes sense to me.

Did you look at the reason why I admitted to being blendy? I think it's a legitimate reason. Granted, I'm doing my best to try a bit harder. But I hate that it has to come with my head possibly being on the chopping block today.
If you have some reason for looking at me other than me being "blendy" which I'm honestly starting to get tired of, given I get called "blendy" several times in almost every game of mafia I play, then I will gladly listen and offer explanations. But if I get lynched again because I came off as "blendy", I'm going to call BS.

I am really not sure of a good direction, but am also considering Vompatt as someone not discussed and yet was really excited about playing this game in the beginning. I am not buying his insainifcation either franklyand will vote there.

Was I actually being blendy? I thought you didn't agree with that sentiment to begin with. You also admitted to being blendy, so you can't really deny that label being put on you.birdwithteeth11 wrote:Also, why is it that a guy who has also been accused of being "blendy" decides to go after another player who has the same accusation leveled at him. NIGHT 6
For all their studies of the occult, the students were still unable to uncover the truth, grassing blindly around in the dark in a vain attempt to apprehend their aggressor. Despite heroic efforts to build a coalition in his defense, insertnamehere was unable to defend himself against the crowd.
"What have you done?" screamed a large number of occultists in concert. But it was too late.
Night fell, and the group descended further into confusion and fear.
insertnamehere has been lynched. He was Cornelius Agrippa.
You have 24 hours to send in your PMs.

Based on nutella's lynch, llama randomizes in the case of a tie.thellama73 wrote:You civilians sure are lucky I decided to count Elohcin's vote. Random.org was gunning for MetalMarsh. :P
And no, the game is not over.
So we can't automatically assume bwt's or vomp's vote was worth extra, because INH may have just gotten unlucky.
And I don't know how anyone else feels about this, but it looks like llama slipped up here. I may get slammed for looking too much into this, but llama seems to imply in this post that the civvies are lucky that nutella was lynched over me, meaning I am civvie. Take it how you will.

Where are you getting that bit about nutella from? I don't see that in the lynch post.

Yeah, that would be my guess as well, that llama simply randomized with ties. Come to think of it, I think Rob is the only host I've seen who doesn't do that with ties.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Based on nutella's lynch, llama randomizes in the case of a tie.thellama73 wrote:You civilians sure are lucky I decided to count Elohcin's vote. I made no such slip up and I would never reveal identities in lynch posts, but good for you for trying.Metalmarsh89 wrote: And I don't know how anyone else feels about this, but it looks like llama slipped up here. I may get slammed for looking too much into this, but llama seems to imply in this post that the civvies are lucky that nutella was lynched over me, meaning I am civvie. Take it how you will.

I don't want to live in that universe.

That makes me want to ote MM again tomorrow, tbh. We have another lynch survivor, so i would like to revisit the MM discussion.

I think this is for the best. I'm not leaning toward Vomps at all (although he'd make a natural independent).S~V~S wrote:That makes me want to ote MM again tomorrow, tbh. We have another lynch survivor, so i would like to revisit the MM discussion.

I am honestly leaning towards MM being genuine but I could be wrong of course.

Who survived? I am not Adverse to discussing MM, but am inclined to think he's most likely civ.
The reason i think vomps was faking was the first time we have seen true insanification this game.

Why the eye, Dom?
I'm still leaning towards MM being civ, so I'm not sure I want to look there. Vomps is one I would consider though. Given the way the lynch went down, I could possibly be wrong about him. Not to mention that once he was un-insanified, he didn't bother explaining his vote for INH. Or any of his other posts for that matter.

Yes, but as we saw with epig, just because Vomps failed to explain his vote doesn't make him necessarily bad.birdwithteeth11 wrote:Why the eye, Dom?

That's a good point. You can communicate pretty clearly through haikus, horoscopes, and weather reports. That does seem a bit like "One of these things is not like the others."Hedgeowl wrote:Mongoose wrote:I think this is for the best. Good point. But if he's not going to explain it, then what do you make of his vote? Because I think it's either 1) nonsensical, 2) has a hidden agenda, 3) is info-related. Those are the only possibilities I see here.MovingPictures07 wrote:Yes, but as we saw with epig, just because Vomps failed to explain his vote doesn't make him necessarily bad.birdwithteeth11 wrote:Why the eye, Dom?

Insanification is hard. Have you ever been insanified with the engive he obviously was using?Mongoose wrote:That's a good point. i am not saying i trust Vomps, I actually don't, but it has nothing to do with being insanified or not. What are your reasons other than insanification? It is my experience over hundreds of games that actually insanified/silenced/etc people outnumber those pretending to be such.
This feels like such a Vompvagon. I actually hate this.

Frankly, I think he's gotten bored. Which tells me he's probably civ.
