Just want to let you all know I will be quiet the rest of the day. I think I played well. I don't think I look bad. New reasons for lynching me are based on JJJ and wilgy and how they interacted with me. I cannot give defense to that. I'm mentally exhausted. And, if late ISOs didn't help JJJ keep from getting lynched, they most definitely won't help me, so why waste my time. You all are making a mistake, but I still have faith that civs will prevail. I'll take the win with you as a deadie.

You did play a good game. If Wilgy and JJJ have implicitly doubleframed you through 10 layers of WIFOM (I'm not being sarcastic here, just honest) and we tricked ourselves through bias to lynch you, then we will avenge.

If we're going to keep in spirit of this crazy scum team, let's try to give reasons why one of the active participants is alive:
Speed:
All actions could point to speedchuck bussing DrWilgy.
He came in yesterday and acted like he didn't see the case already presented on Eloh and did some investigation work. Kind of to justify how he's made a respectable case out of voting for Eloh. That's one theory.
Counterargument: he's been very pro-townish lately and an active participant in solving theories. He also hopped on a bandwagon with Eloh and Wilgy at one point, and to think 3 scummers piled on one wagon on their own is crazy. I mean this whole game has been crazy, but that would be crazy crazy.

Another theory is nutella isn't who she claims to be.
She was a little too quick on Jay and before I questioned her on it, claiming it fishy, she never even claimed why she had switched to voting for him.
Counterargument: we all think she's Everest and no one has thrown major beef her way so we have to assume she's who she says she is. An inactive cannot be Everest since we're quite certain a tie broke the lynch and that would have only been made possible if she were Everest.

The last theory is one of DDL/Quin are bad.
I would lean more scum towards DDL simply because....I have no reason NOT to suspect him. Like, there's no game mechanics or game play that clearly indicates his towniness. Shrug.
Counterargument: My intuition tells me he's very natural and impulsive and follows his gut. He makes some crazy theories that I don't think a scummer would resort to, so I feel like he's genuine. Also, his ITT post to Jay about why people suspect him etc. That was really sincere and I don't think DDL is that big of a liar.

Counterargument: He did suspect Eloh early on but no one was buying into his suspicions and he never really presented a hard, blown out case against her so to assemble a following was difficult. One could argue he wasn't trying to assemble a following, more to park on a scum to later use as evidence on how he's been going after Eloh from the beginning, for example. Similar to DDL, however, I have to say Quin has felt genuine and sincere and I am leaning more town that scum on him.

Kyle / Long Con - I don't need to make cases for since I'm certain they're town-aligned, even if LC turns out to be the 3P.

I think now that we have 3 deaths, I'm going to try and get some intel on speedchuck/JJJ/Wilgy/Eloh - nutella/JJJ/Wilgy/Eloh - DDL/JJJ/Wilgy/Eloh - Quin/JJJ/Wilgy/Eloh and then nijueesig/JJJ/Wilgy/Eloh likeliness of pairing.

I think he genuinely searched for Wilgy at the Ws and didn't find him and made an oopsie. It takes a different level of evil to lie about things like that. and I've seen pictures of DDL. I appreciate that this read exists, but I don't know what motivates it. Tell me more about the argument about ties and why you hate it and why that reflects this way on Kyle/Jack. This is a serious request, I am not entirely clearly on that argument myself yet.

There was on NF game a while ago where I found a baddie on Day 2 like this: she spent 10 (20ppp) pages on Day 1 going back and forth with a civ. The civ in questions is one of the worst players to ever appear on the internet. He was arguing something bogus like his right of not scumhunting on day 1 because day 1 is always useless. People lynched him for it. I instead went after her, because I noticed she was taking advantage of him to look like she was contributing when she wasn't. I got night killed, but then on day 2 people followed the case on her and she flipped bad.

I thought I saw the same pattern on Kyle vs Jack. Kyle argued some sub-optimal strategy (tieing votes) and Jack decided to argue with him for a long time about it. Or maybe Kyle posted it, Jack took the bait, and Kyle took the advantage to spend a long time arguing about it. Either way, the point is: if I see two players arguing for a long time about something not related to scumhunting, I will suspect at least one of them is wasting everyone's time on purpose. Hence my point.

This was in response to a prod by Sloonei to expand on his grievance with the Epignosis voters I mentioned earlier. The addition of names is good, but it's unclear what the reader should be doing with them. It's typically not such a chore to get this sort of content from DDL given that he thrives on pressure as a civilian.

We played one game in 2015 (Economics Mafia) where you formed an opinion of me (a rather positive one it seems, which makes me happy). But since then it seems you have holding every game I play to that standard.

In 2016, you came in as a replacement in Turf Wars. You read my posts, decided I was not playing identically to Economics Mafia, and led a succesfuls lynch on me. I had gone through a very long and arduous proccess of making people think I was a civ that took multiple phases, and you came and destroyed everything in less than 24 hours, by making people give in to their old doubts and suspicions. I flipped civ. Also since then I have been banning people from replacing late in games I host because I hate when that kind of thing happens.

I'm not mad at you for it (that game was a barrel of emotions for me which I've long overcome anyway), but I'm seeing you do that again and I'm telling you that it won't work. My playstyle has gone through a lot of changes since I joined this site. Mainly because I have the worst W/L ratio of any regular in Mafia Syndicate, which has forced me to make changes. I may or may not necessarily rely on pressure. I may or may not necessarily follow up on old suspicions, and I now avoid tunneling on people like my life depends on it. I change my playstyle every game. In fact, as I said early, I'm trying to change it a little in this very game.

As for this game, you and other people are questioning that post, so here is the thing. I commented on what I thought was a general push by mafia on a civ, so I decided I wanted to throw a wrench on it. I did not form detailed reads on all the people doing it, as that wasn't my intention and I didn't think I had the ability to do that (this is a hallmark of my newer playstyle btw. I work under the assumption that my sumchunting skills are horseshit and doubt myself all the time).

There have been hundreds of posts after the fact. Collectively, they weigh way more than it. I don't want to stick to it forever. Sloonei has posted things that made me feel better about him. Nutella posted things that made me feel worse, and later got physical indication of being a civ (the tie stuff) that now makes me not want to vote for her anymore. LC posted things that made him look both better or worse at times. That early Day 1 evidence has long been archived in my scumhunting process, and you guys are wanting me to give importance to something that has none.

I found something unnatural about how she brought up sig when asking Jack for reads. Neither Jack nor the thread was talking about sig. She was talking about sig, but if she were looking for opinions on him, why ask Jack specifically?

A quick glance at her ISO and it seems she's been pushing sig as a suspect/topic of conversation for a while. I don't think it's unnatural for her to direct a specific prod at Jack about sig.

I'm simming so I will keep this brief. I asked Jack because Jack asked me to to ask him for ISO's and while I was at it I asked his opinion of sig as well. I don't see what is unnatural about it given I was directly asked to interact with Jack. I didn't particularly want Jack's opinion over everyone else's.
