The best part of this thread so far for me is the people throwing out Survivor references like Hantz and Hatch that I only tangentially get.

Hey there folks, I brought me this here harmonica. *plays quick and jaunty riff* I trust that King DH has my best interests at heart, so I have no problem givin' him the righteous nod. His will is my will. Ain't no other way it needs t'be.

Lookin' forward to a great game, and if y'all ever need anything, be it a vote, an alliance, or just a friendly ear in BTSC - just ask Long Con, I'll be sure to oblige, if I can.

Oh, I should add that obviously just pledging loyalty without backing it up is a one way trip to Tribal. As your King I demand displays of loyalty on the regular. I'd say "vote out who I want to vote out in Tribal Council" but my tribe won't be going to tribal council, so.

How does this happen, and how quickly? Not voting or posting? Or is this something you will explain later?

And is 6PM Eastern going to be the phase ending ballpark for the whole game?

I was going to bring eyeglasses so I can use the lenses to start a fire, but that was taken and I'm unclear from my quick read-through if we can take the same item as someone else. Instead I brought a picture of Keri Russel for to start a fire with friction.

I really don't see a need for any of those items. If there was tea on the island, I would bring my mug, but other than that everything seems pretty pointless. So...I will choose to keep my wedding ring.

So how are the two tribes of nine determined? Anyone know? Scotty?

Your wellness levels will fluctuate in several ways as the game progresses. Just like when you're deciding between a salad or 4 delicious-looking muffins.

As for end of phases, I'm probably going to be ending them around 11p-midnight, depending on my time zone. This may be slightly inconvenient to some of you, and I apologize, but most of my time comes at the end of work, which happens to be close to 11p. I'll make that abundantly clear at the start of each phase.

Thanks Scotty. Six would have been nice, but I can stay up later for challenges if need be. And I was really hoping for "Yes! Voting=food, posting=drinks" but I will be happy to vote low participators off the island if need be.

Also gameboy for three reasons.

These people have yet to check in according to my records. Should make tribal council much easier for the people unfortunate enough to be stuck with them.

Everyone has checked in.

Also gameboy for three reasons.

1. Entertainment
2. I can take it apart and like do stuff with it
3. I can throw it at people
4. Who wouldn't want a gameboy?
Lying to the King, checking in fourth-from-last, and not taking the earliest opportunity to pledge fealty?

I pledge fealty to no man, better to die on my feet then live on my knees!

lol what am I saying? Being in Kentucky is starting to southernize me.

Why should you be the king hmmmmmmm? Why not someone else like Golden or LC or SVS or the Gameboy??????

In fact I might worship LC as a sorry for the recent witch hunts or i'll spend all game trying to kill him haven't decided what yet.

I'm the King 'cuz I say so. I'm the best, baddest, biggest mothertrucker around these parts. As I said from jump street you're either in line or you're in the way. Anybody who falls in line is gonna live the high life. I'm talkin' food, water, luxary items, no Tribal Councils. Anybody with the balls to step to the King is gonna find out real quick that's a bad idea.

Yes TWD is garbage but Negan is

A) The best gif source for the gimmick
B) The best part of TWD

Remember that totem pole we talked about earlier, folks? Starting now, here's your first opportunity to climb the ranks:

The 3 remaining players to not check in are officially marked. Persona Non Grata, big time. Anyone who takes these three players off the board will earn themselves a pretty solid spot on the totem.

Unless and until *after* they check in, they contribute big time to their tribes. In which case, I'm sure you'll sort it out.

Dear diary,

So. Crazy thing happened.

After I arrived I got separated from the group. I didn't know where anybody was! At first I panicked and then I realized I didn't have my inhaler with me, so I did my best to calm down. I thought it would be good to use the stars to navigate with, but it was daytime, and those wouldn't be coming out for a while. I wondered about that thing where moss only grows on one side of a tree or something, but I guess I'm not really good recognizing plants. Then I realized I hadn't applied any sunblock, so I decided to just move in one direction and see if I could find my way just using the old noodle.

Well anyway I passed through a clearing and found myself in the presence of this gorilla. It was beating its chest and making such a fuss! I was like, "Who whizzed on his bananas in his Corn Flakes this morning?" you know? Man, I thought I was in trouble. I said to myself, "Boy, you're in such a pickle, you might not even say you're in a pickle. You're in the relish." I mean, it looked that bad for me.

Then someone called my name and I looked around and there everybody was! They were just going on about their business! So I tried to find out why everybody was so calm with this angry, violent gorilla in their presence. They said, "What gorilla?"

You're gonna laugh when you hear this. That wasn't a gorilla. It was just DharmaHelper, another contestant here. Boy, he sure had me worried! He didn't even have a suit or mask on or anything. Wowee.

If the producers have anything like my arrival in store, I'd better watch out!

XOXO
