I will never forget just how fucking floored I was when I found out you were mafia in that game. I was literally 100% confident you were town. It blew my mind for days. Lol. If Quin hadn't wiped the floor with town in Mad Max and more people paid attention to Heists, I think you might have pulled that win off for your performance in that game alone.

There were so many great baddie performances last year.

Maybe you should program him better so he doesn't get lynched Day 1 so much.

No. I need someone to deflect attention from me for when I'm eventually bad.

Also congrats everyone all the awards were well deserved.

Thanks for all the votes for funniest poster. But since Scotty beat me I'll have to dedicate the next year on TS to killing/lynching him. :p

Heists are definitely underappreciated. I'm a big fan of simplicity, which bigger games often don't do.

We also need more burglaries. Please and thank.

Heists always end up being way more fun than I expect them to be. I should probably just expect them to be a lot of fun. Because that's what they are.

Heists have quickly become my new favorite game type, so I agree. It's a lot harder for mafia to hide since there are less players, but with a more quick game progression, it also can be tough to win as a town team as well. The games are just so tight too. Role madness games are always fun, but as a player I've found that nothing beats the simplicity of a three non-vanilla role limit. It's just that awesome core of mafia. I love Heists.

Burglaries were definitely a success too! I'd love to participate in and see more of them in 2017. We definitely need more volunteer hosts. Burglaries can happen anytime, not just special occasions, so let's get these things rolling again. If you're reading this and want to host a burglary, talk about it in the Burglary hosting thread! :nicenod:

Glad everyone had fun. I apologize for the delays to write posts. About 1/3 of the time you were waiting I was trying to post but you guys wouldn't shut up in the thread! :p

Had I had an extra hour for prep, I could have pre-written some stuff to cut down the delay times and hashed out a plan to include the other Sockey organizers much more. Sorry for hijacking the awards show aspect. And thank you for jumping in when my daughter got sick. Thankfully it wasn't as heinous as what happened Thursday night. *shudders*

Holy cow I missed all of this.

Congratulations to everyone that won and some of those finalists were just as deserving across the board.

I'm honored to be called funny. I'm more of a stray fart, IMO, but if I make you chuckle, then so be it!

Congratulations to Jay, Quin, LoRab, Sorsha, pretty much all you peeps who are just generally better at playing this game than I am. I'm glad I'm a part of this community, and am not going to give my tux back after the awards show because I never had one to begin with.

Congratulations, to all the Socky winners and especially to:

- LoRab who thoroughly deserved her award for her performance in Mad Max.
- Quin for best newcomer (against some awfully stiff competition) and as best Mafioso
- G-Man for his award for Mad Max and
- My main man, Jay who was rewarded for his awesome skill as a Townie.

I used an extra vote to create a tie, which gave us extra time, and caused a lot of confusion. It was one of the more stressful moments of mafia in recent memory. Also fun. In the old time mafia fun kind of ways.

Thank you much, Rico!

Now it is easily discerned not only who won what but the finalists as well. Freaking awesome. :D

And it's incredibly visually appealing, especially with the spoilers. Outdone yourself indeed!

Not to take anything away from the deserving winners, but I just realized I'm ashamed of myself for not submitting any of Epi's Vocaroo posts to be considered for Best Post.

And Rico's! I've basically tried to block out any memory of your posts in that game because I'm too embarrassed about my tunneling of you.

I didn't mean next year, I realize that category will be a lock for him, but rather the idea of Vocaroo having made it in time to pit Swanson against Singnosis.
