Nutes probably town, mac 50/50, jay dropping like a lead balloon but I’ve also seen him be wildly wrong the only time I’ve seen him play. Idk probably some other TRs if I thought about it/was more awake, but tbh D1 in multiball is basically rand.

I literally just played two games with him where he was mafia, one I was indy so didn't care much to hunt and one where I was civ and did. Both times I knew he was mafia, before any information or anything game one i was brushed off and mafia won.
Game 2 it was a mix Epi jumped on and we won the game.
Now having said that during Circut, I believe, before I seriously called him out I skimmed over inception and just did again his playstyle and tone doesn't match inception but matches the other two.
He's being overly aggressive and defensive and honestly way to aggressive for this phase in the game, for the level of commitment I've put into going after him, and for the amount of votes/attention he's getting from everybody.
Only reason he's doing this? Since I again successfully called his alignment and he's pissed off.
If not then he's just a hella toxic player and honestly should be lynched anyway. Though given his last few games I doubt that's the case.sig is going HAM.sig wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 9:51 pm Chiefly and I'll pull up quotes from this and other games later either tomorrow or Thursday is that as mafia he gets hella defensive to early and super sarcastic/trolling. Mainly over minor pokes. Like he did here.
He's also in both games, where he was scum, made comments about being mafia/mafia chat. Now this alone isn't the closing. People do that all the time but his reaction to whenever I've brought it up has been exactly the same every game. Read through them if you don't believe me.
@Sloonei @Jackofhearts2005 you two were his teammates in Circuits care to weight in?
this gave me the yuckies.

Re: Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Day 1]
Good morning! I left the thread at page 4 and read nothing yet.
The post below in spoiler it's on top of this page and after pressing show for the poll I saw Jack voted by Epi, JJJ and Nut. So I was curious of how Jack posts. Except he may want to pocket me his post is villagery because he wants to wait to form a read for me instead shading me for being absent, and that would be the easiest thing to do for scum.
So I'll put Jack im my town pile without much stress and go to catch up.

When we played in Inception he was the architect and Indy, played really safe and indecisive but still kept an air of he knew what was happening. Which made choosing to lynch him or evenstar (mafia) that much more difficult

The meatiest stuff to dig into when time permits is probably sig vs. Nanook re: the Radish "slip". starts around here or so. Left to their own mortal kombat, they've both emerged looking less than bueno to me.

Some page 5 thoughts
JJJ acts close to that game where he was villager and let himslef lynched with a wrong Poe. He kind of pressures everyone. For scum to be that is too annoying and he may get lynched just because. I don't see this as a scum safe play now, JJJ may be villager, a little too paranoid one.
Idk why is Sig upset about candy given like town reads http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 93#p586093 but in post 243 he explains his thoughts in a pretty villagery way.
Sloonei has a solid logic in his posts which feels good.

Cool I’m caught up
JaggedJimmyJay you said that I was nominated for mvp for a reason. Now I totally could’ve nominated myself but I didn’t (so thank you to whoever did that) but your statement for that was hollow in that I play mafia my way and that’s how I get results. Same as everyone. So if you want MVP material you’re just gonna have to wait for it because it’ll come with time.
What’d Mac say in Inception to the scum team? “Sprityo is a crucial mislynch” although I like to think of myself more like a snowball
Enough about me though-
I don’t care about this nanook sig radishes kerfuffle that happened between pages 6 and 10 roughly, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say jack is mafia this game. Just pure gut. I have no reason other than I think it.
Also Dom is here, huzzah! I enjoyed playing with Dom in Inception and can’t wait for another game with him. Same to Dizzy, I love their zanyness.
Jay is also 100% town. Don’t ask me why
That’s my lukewarm takes, Jack bad, jay good

Some banters itt on page 6
Noticing a TR for me from Dizzy, and I prefere to take it as such because in a multiball with 3rd parts it's harder to think me for town core as being pockety.
Nutella wanting a Dizzy vs Sloonei fight noted. What if it's between 2 townies @Nutella ? It would be a beneficial one?
Nanook and Master Radishes giving me some odd vibes, it may be nothing.

Want to echo this. In this game set-up, and not knowing any of you particularly well, this D1 is a going to be bit of a crapshoot for me.NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 12:52 am Maybe I should rephrase
Some of YOU can, I’m sure, make above rand reads (probably, most people don’t have above rand reads but that’s a tangent)
But I don’t know most/any of you enough to make an above rand read off behavior that I’m confident in, in a multiball game
I already hate D1s, tbh. They're important in retrospect, but at the time they're messy. I hate mess.

The one I can't accept is 'civilian', which is just such a mouthful when you could just say 'town' or 'vill'.![]()

Re: Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Day 1]
Have caught up in time to go to work. Huzzah. @me for anything urgent, otherwise leave me alone.
I'm working 12 hour days these days. The school I work in is a start-up, so a lot of systems and procedures are just not in place consistently yet, creating extra work for those of us who actually care. I thought I'd be past this by now, hence agreeing to this game, but apparently not.

I mean I was hoping someone would chuckle or get the reference but having to explain it basically killed any comedic value it had

I mean, it would be juicy content, so yeah? But also I don't feel quite the same way about them now as I did at the time of that post so idcMichelle wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 2:18 am Some banters itt on page 6

I finally had a chance to actually read through the champion game set up and the past few pages before going back to sleep.phone is dying so I'll check back in in the morning with some thoughts so far.

But this is really what bothers me about all of this. I don't know you, so I don't know what "losing your shit" actually looks like, maybe if that really happens I will wish I was on Mars, lol, but from my perspective, you went a bit overboard with your reaction to all of this.
As the person who started this whole clusterfuck, even unintentionally, what most got my eye about it was that I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about Radishes, a third person, and you seemed genuinely upset about the whole thing. Now I defend people all the time, but taking it to the level that you took it was over the top in a way that felt to me like baddies being caught out for the wrong reason and the righteous indignation that that causes. The two worst things in Mafia as a baddie are either playing a perfect game and getting caught, or getting caught day one, for a stupid reason beyond your control. So annoying. It felt almost like chatroom anger spilling into the thread.
I don't know you, and I am rusty, having not played for a year or so, and not having played much for a year or so before that. So I am not going to vote on this, but I am going to be slicing and dicing everything the two of you say. But I mostly play on my gut, and last night my gut told me you were overreacting. Had Radishes been the one to react that way, I would have understood it better. But I don't see any civ roles that would be in contact (barring secrets) on Night Zero, so

I see Jack taking votes, gonna read up on why, he was my main shady red read before things went off on a tangent. I want to see why others are voting for him, especially Nutella, if iirc she reads him well.

Oh, OK, that makes sense, too. I was just wondering about where you played. I started at Lostpedia and, I know our terminology was diferent than most.Master Radishes wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 2:20 amI just tend to start adopting a forum's local slang a bit. What do you think of Nanooks defense of your honor over how my question was interpreted? Do you think that reaction was valid? (I know you want to forget this ever happened, but it did happen, sorry

In a way, I guess I see it, what with the diarrhea-of-the-mouth-inducing playstyle you and others prefer. You have offended me, sir, and now I intend to bury myself in the deepest red of your rainbow reads so that I may ignore your demands for more content.

Earlier, when explaining a question I had asked Jules, I also said I would probably ask you a direct question, too.
Now, I know that I am a person you want to sort out ASAP, cause you have told me so. You pretty much always make a remark about how I said or did something you found shady. But the fact that you have not, and that you did not remark on my comment about you hiding from G Woman makes me think you have not read my posts. This would alarm me more in a game with one baddie team than a game with one, but I still find it eyebrow raising. Not becasue I am such a narcissist that I think it a requirement that people read my posts, but becasue I know our dynamic.
Do you have any reads at all?
I am going to work, I may be able to get back on now and then before 3PM eastern, I may not. xoxo all

I was calling sig pushing it as a slip stupid, not you. Because it was stupid. I don’t like stupid pushes. I was probably the strongest pushback against it, but I’m hardly the only one to say “no this is bad” lol.S~V~S wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 6:56 am![]()

I also will defend other people from stupid pushes as town. I just finished a game where I spent all of D1 being scumread for doing so, lol.
