My banners and avatar are finally gone now too. Not sure why it took longer, but we're going to migrate them. It just may take time because it's Alex's account so he has to move them over. Sorry guys!

Heads up guys, the ISO button is missing until I can get in and fix the coding for this new theme. I deactivated and uninstalled carbon and the black and green since this is our permanent style. The goal is in the next couple days I hope to have the header installed and the ISO button returned. I appreciate your patience.

Regarding the problem with the ppp, I suspect that this is a glitch between the old version and the new, most likely something left over that just didn't translate. I'm going to look for a new extension to allow for us to set ppp again. Hopefully that will deal with the problem.

Anyone else have trouble viewing the website using Chrome? It looks fine on this computer using firefox. But Alex started using Chrome and it looks really effed up... has it been this way for anyone else?

You know when you're on your phone and get linki you can't read it. Is that normal or is that just me?

It's not just you, but it's a glitch associated with the mobile view for our theme we have installed. I don't as of yet have the skills to locate the problem code and fix it. However, if you scroll down past your post that got caught in linki, you should find the recent posts there.

Okay, shoot me to the right place if I am not in it.

My.. forum looks really odd. Like There is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge black banner on the right hand side. I am aware I have not been here for a minute but I tried the settings and went to board preferences. I noticed the width button but nothing I did made the forum get any bigger.

Help? :help:

It does that if you're zoomed out in chrome. Press Ctrl + scroll in or out to see what % zoom you're in.

Holy crap. Okay, but to get rid of it I have to make this so big I can only see one post at a time. :( So I have to choose between annoying black band and easy reading or no black band and less easy.

Thanks. I will ponder. It is nice and large font for my old eyeballs now LOL

Huh and changing the width in UCP didn't fix it? Do you have a really huge monitor?

Ok, having looked at your settings it wasn't quite set to the maximum width. What I see is not at all what your screenshot shows, so I am thinking it may have something to do with the browser you are using or it's settings, or perhaps the settings on the monitor. Let me know once you sign in if the change I made in your settings fixed it. If not, it's probably not to do with the site itself but something with your monitor or browser.

The good news is it is better. When I unzoomed to get it back to normal looking, the black band is still on the side but muuuuch thinner. I can manage that. Thanks everyone, and especially Daisy! ;)

I also have a bar, and I thought my header banner was wonky, but it's that the banner is centred on the page, and the content is fixed-wdth and left-aligned.

I'm looking into centering the whole forum. Will continue to work on it this weekend.

Problem with mobile usage of the Syndicate website, is that zoom in/out function right side of the page disappears into black void when zoomed out leavin left side syndicate profile functions sided to the far left.
tried power on/off mobile devices & still glitches, happened to my other electronic device as well. How to fix? it's rather irritable adjusting the screen constantly & usuing letter keyboard to comment slides the entire page downwards rather being stable. usuing a normal android web browser, however tried with chrome & had the same issue as well.

It might be whatever Marmot was looking into with the centering issue. I'll talk to him and see if he has changed something that might affect the mobile view.

My portrait view on mobile has a large banner down the right hand side and everything is squished over to the left. It wasn't like that before.

When I first get on the portrait view fills up the screen though I can't get over to the far right hand side where you can see the topic and who posted last (thats always been that way). Then I turn to landscape which is fine and when I come back to portrait it is all smashed on the left hand side again. I can zoom out though and it looks normal again so I guess its got something to do with the zoom.

I think it's whatever Marmot has been working on in the code. I apologize for the inconvenience, it takes time to sort this kind of thing out.

I think I figured how to fix this by accident. If you're an android user and browsing through chrome, just double tap on the screen!

I can't send PMs to anyone on phone.

Every time I try to send a PM, the moment I try to add a recipient, my phone logs out of the forum.

Actually I can send a PM if I am replying to someone. But I cannot add recipients manually. So for example if I am playing a game with two hosts and I want to talk to one, all I gotta do is reply to a message from them. But if I need to send the PM to both hosts, it's impossible on phone because it logs out when I try to add a new recipient.

At least one week, but I'm not keeping track.

Also if it helps I use android and chrome.

I've been noticing the past couple days that I'll be logged out after having logged in, usually if I navigate back to the main index. If I refresh the browser (Chrome) I go back to being logged in. Not sure if it is something on my end or not, and not a big nuisance, but kind of strange.

It does that on my phone too, but you're not really logged in. It's something weird with cookies on the phone, but if you clear your cache then it doesn't appear that way. If you try to reply it'll ask you to sign in (I think you're kind of viewing an older version of the home page). Unless don't mean on your phone, then I'm not sure.

No, I'm using it on desktop these days, but it hasn't happened since I posted that, so maybe false alarm?

I just clicked back onto the index after making that post and it was exactly what you said — an older version of the homepage where I'm not logged in and your reply is the most recent in this thread. So I'll clear my cache and see what's what over the next few days.

I have an issue on my phone sometimes where it'll freak out and zoom all the way out, but everything will be on the left side leaving the right half as empty space. Is that what you're talking about?

I thought it was just because my phone sucks and I'm doing things too quickly. Maybe not then.

In that case, I'll also mention how it crashes my browser if I go too fast in typing after I hit full reply. I feel like this one might just be me though.

Qantas never crashed, and neither have I.
