Smiley Requests

#1

Post by Golden »

Edit: We couldn't locate the original Smiley request thread so I am merging it with this one. Use this thread to request a smiley you would like to see added to the forum. If it is one that you would like to have represent you, then make sure to let us know that as well!

Hi everyone

While there is already a thread for smilies you would like to see be added to the Syndicate, this thread is for asking for a new smilie to be added that is named after, and represents, you.

For instance, I request that :golden: be added for this smilie Image

Please don't expect your smilie to be added immediately. Our admins have lots to do and they will do their best to keep up. But, provided that the smilie doesn't already exist under another name and basically fits within the site rules, you will find you have a smilie that you can use to represent yourself in due course.

Have fun with it, everyone. I hope you find something that represents you perfectly.

Question for you LC; do you have the :luff: smilie? And can it be adjusted to be usable on a dark background like we have here? Alex tried to bring it over once and it didn't translate well but it is one of my very favorite smilies and I wish we had it here.

We already had a pedantic argument about the correct spelling amongst the Ambassadors. Ultimately, I went for the spelling no-one thought was correct.

I have been told that this is an emoticon =) while this is an emoji :)

But I think they're the same thing and it's just a way for people to feel cool, because everyone is a Japanophile for some reason these days.

Hey Daisy, I think I never saw this. I'm not sure which Smiley that is... that's not a shortcut that works on Rev or LP.

It's the one with the little hearts I think.
Skip softly, my moonbeams, for I have heard tell
That the stairs up to heaven lead straight down to hell
