Jfc Marmot has 113 posts. Am I the only one who has had their mind blown by that factoid?
Supatown marmots are rare species. They can only be seen one month a year, at the top of high mountains, during a specific combination of temperature and humidity. Tourist caravans have been formed to attempt to take photographs of those wondrous creatures. If you see one, please do not feed it, as it tend to reply with silly pics and quirky smileys when you do.
I'm more concerned that I can't remember a single post he made. He has managed to accrue a 3 page iso on day 1 while causing nary but a faint poo smell left in the air from where he farted and left the room.

Marmot would ordinarily have six votes on him by now. Wtf gives Marmot.
He made a few posts that striked me as very civ, and someone (don't remember) pointed that out and I agreed with them. Considering supatown Marmot is so rare, I'm willing to read him as civ.

Is there a potential civ reason for Epi lying about having a lynch switch?

I interpret this as you were ok with voting for her, but are now less okay with it since she's the leading lynch wagon. I guess this is Day 1, but I'm not a fan of this post.

I do want to know, why does it matter that she's come under fire?

- And the lynch manipulator issue, which can be explained by two possibilities. One, Epi is lying, and if so I want to see why. Probably linked to the exercise. Second, he is telling the truth, and if so, we are powerless to stop him. So I'll just ignore it, wait to see what he is cooking, and keep playing the game as if this wasn't a factor.

I'm on Page 34 and I hate the discussion about Epi's exercise. Hate it hate it hate it.

Can you guys be just a little patient and let him finish it so we can judge whether the results are good or not? If they are not you can vote for him all you want. But voting him now because you can't see the usefulness of something that has been advertized as having a hidden goal is moronic. Voting for him because he is risking being night killed is triple moronic. For all I know this exercise could end in day 1, when every active player answers it. Or he could be night killed, but then that means he was... a civ?

You don't lynch someone to prevent mafia from killing them, that's almost as bad as the idea that a civ has to resign themselves to get lynched.

If Epi is a wagon I will make whatever vote is necessary to prevent him from being lynched. Because right now my curiosity wants me to know how this exercise ends.
Epi's gambit just feels like unnecessary risk to me. Why are you so adamant on continuing with it? Just because you are curious?
Risk?

What does it risk?
Throwing away a really powerful ability on day 1 when we do not have any conclusive reads.
@Iron_Dwarf please explain why a lynch switch is such a powerful civ ability

Hi, I'm ten pages behind right now, and I don't know if I'll be reading them or not. I don't want my Pegasister to be lynched... as of ten pages ago, I felt like she was being railroaded by a few aggressive, high-posting players, and I am not that surprised to see the tally in the state that it's currently in for her.

I don't know that argument, but here's my current take on it. He'll probably be nightkilled if he's a Civ. Why waste a lynch on him?

If he's bad, then he'll give us a string of Civ players, and those Civs will probably be nightkilled.

Any bad player he gives us is a huge advantage, right? So why not let him do that?

Note: I may be misinterpreting something in there, so feel free to correct any assumptions.

I'll try, me not reading wouldn't be because I don't want to, but because I don't have time. I will try to make time, I know everyone has a real life, I fell behind because of doing end game for Buffy Mafia last night. My experience with epignosis is probably best described as a hellish tunnel from which I cannot ever escaped.

His posting kinda sucks (lots of questions, no real reads, that stupid PM thing). The counter-argument is that he's Shaman, which is very difficult to fake because he publicly reveals roles, and is a role we don't want to lose.

Nah, still very ok with it. It does not matter that she’s under fire. I made an ISO post on her with the intention of getting her under fire. But I’m always open for a townie to convince me otherwise if she actually is town, and I can’t glanced through all the posts in the thread but can’t say I’ve read through everything in detail.

Next, I made a quick ISO on TSP and I still think he looks better than Quin, Kenway or Kites (I guess he ties with Kites).

Can see myself voting for either of those 4 names.

So right now my algorithm for the lynch:

1- Save Epignosis
2- If Epignosis if safe, lynch one of the four above.

I feel like lynch of Nutella is happening to easily
I feel the sane about the lynch of Epi.
I'm glad you've been able to acknowledge our sound minds in this decision.

AUBERGINE

[4] Epignosis - Kites, Marmot, Iron_Dwarf, rundontwalk
[4] nutella - MacDougall, gwilikers6, dunya, ColinIsCool
[2] rabbit8 - sig, colonialBob
[1] ColinIsCool - Epignosis
[1] Dr. White - JaggedJimmyJay
[1] Marmot - Long Con
[1] Kylemii - TonyStarkPrime
[1] TonyStarkPrime - Kenway
[1] Kenway - Dragon D. Luffy

No vote: Dr. White, DrWilgy, Kylemii, lapluie, nutella, Quin, rabbit8, sprityo

I think that Epignosis has the lead, despite he and nutella reaching 4 votes at the exact same moment with rdw moving from nutella to Epignosis.

What is weird about rabbit being AWOL?

I figure it's indicative of him being a civilian, in that he wouldn't bail on a mafia team like that, especially a mafia team that he would have hand-selected, or was hand-selected for.
This is why I don't think we should lynch rabbit.

Why not DrWilgy? Or lapluie?

I think you people seriously underestimate the ability of people to bail from mafia games.
