I don't know what inspired people to hop on the classic old "LC is a baddie" train, but I assure you that you don't want to lynch me. I don't really know what else to say, is there a case against me, or did someone just point their finger and everyone ran where they were pointing?
Eyyyyyy lmao your wife thinks you're bad.
Case and point.
Well, I've been lynched for much less, but that doesn't change the fact that she's wrong... or the fact that there's no real case for me to even rebut.
How dare you state publicly that I am wrong. Especially when I'm not. :noble:

Long Con has been night killed.
It is now Day 7. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.
A letter from our editor:
Death to Long Con
So we should lynch LC today. Don't get distracted! I may not be with you anymore, I feel my life is threatened. I see shadows lurking all around. Looks like a "Long" shadow.
Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.

Well then.

ika, MetalMarsh89, and Matt are the three names at the top of my list for that.

Who would throw strategy to the sea and do something like kill Long Con on the eve of his lynch?

Beats me, I would have left him be. I just can't figure out how I read him so wrong that I was sure he was bad.

Personally, mainly because I'm stubborn, I'm not putting it outside the realm of possibility that LC was bad and his team killed him to protect his identity, seeing that his lynch seemed inevitable. What that means for this new lynch, I'm not sure. But I'm not buying that LC was civ. If he was, killing him would make no sense for the baddies.

Killing him regardless makes no sense from a strategic standpoint.

That's why I qualified: "From a strategic standpoint." If he's your teammate, it's not strategically sound to kill him, because you, the sole remaining mafia member, can end up lynched and the game is over and you lose. If he's not your teammate, it's not strategically sound to kill him because he's almost assuredly getting lynched next, so that would eat up a lynch and give your team another kill.

The only thing that remotely makes any strategic sense is that Sorsha checked LC and figured he would be a dangerous role to be made public in the thread, but I don't see that being the case at all. Long Con didn't vote Sorsha- he voted Illyria.

The only exception would be if they found that Long Con was the doctor, who had not used his resurrection yet (presumably waiting for Lady Mary, Edith, or Sybil to be lynched), or Mr. Molesley, and didn't want him to stop the lynch, because that could clear him either way.

I think I just talked myself into the most logical answer. :)

Joseph Moseley
Mr. Moseley get's a second chance at Downton as First Footman after leaving his job as a butler serving Isobel Crawley. He's a bit of a misfit but strives to do his job well.
Likes: Having someone to talk to
Dislikes: Unkindness
Second chances are always nice. Mr. Moseley will not be lynched the first time he receives the most votes.

also epi, while it would entirely be my kind of kill becasue it is what you said, it makes head games, im not scum

At first glance, that would seem to be the case. But optimal strategy would leave him alone, let him stop the lynch, and then night kill him then.

no......

thats suboptimal, we have all night phase then for a confirmed town to speak his thoughts. the optimal play is to remove ny chance of any confrimed towns ever showing, even if he only made a few post, a confirmed town in night is 10 times better then no confrimed towns

I agree with you on Matt and ika, but I disagree with you on the Metalmarsh89 fellow.

I can think of a couple reasons that Long Con was nightkilled. They aren't great reasons, but based on recent events, one of them has to be the case.

1) Mafia felt safe enough to make such a kill because they know the civilians are looking in the wrong direction.
2) Mafia is in a dangerous position, and opted to making a head-scratching kill choice to through off their pursuers.
3) As you mentioned, Long Con was a role that the mafia did not want alive.

As for whodunnit, I wouldn't put it past anyone who is currently left in the game, with the exceptions of BR and Epignosis.

Actually, I think Epignosis very capable of this sort of thing, but this is the third time he's been of the lynch poll, so he's likely a non-mafia role.

I don't think it's the most likely thing that happened, I just think it's in the realm of possibility.

I think the baddies migth be scared of LC's opinions. LC thought that the following people were suspicious in his most recent posts:
-Dom
-Scotty
-Illy
I'm not baddie, but I'm happy to defend myself.

I also think ika is suspicious.

No one wants to discuss Dom's bullshit? He's practically been floating around doing nothing.

Killing him regardless makes no sense from a strategic standpoint.
I've seen it happen. And your logic of what makes sense is not necessarily the same as others' logic.

Like DD, I was om his team and never understood or agreed. As far as I was concerned it didn't help. Would LC do it? Sure he would. But why? We have discussed it extensively. I decided it was a shit move. I think he agreed with it. Taking your own numbers out is always stupid, if you ask me.

Why?

Your need to vote for him this game is just something I don't understand.

Why?

Because there's mafia left to lynch and Matt was trying to lynch Illy over Sorsha yesterday. Also, we haven't heard from Matt today. I suppose he could be silenced, but I'm fine leaving my vote there right now.

Who do you plan on voting for?

Is this a reference to another game? What's DD?

Dom is a null read to me, but I'd possibly vote there.

Earlier (a few days ago I think) you mentioned thinking what llama was doing made sense, implying he was civ. How did you reach that conclusion?
