If one of Golden/Dom played me, congratulations.
If not, it ends here. Let's win this.

Well, you know I'll be voting someone else.
Sorsha, I assume you'll be voting self-pres, so you might want to hold it for a little bit

I feel like this game has become less about civilians versus mafia and more about civilians versus independents. What a change of pace.

I'm still versus mafia. I don't feel I'm against you. If the game didn't end today, and there was a chance tomorrow to make a move that actively won us all the game, I'd take it.Quin wrote:I feel like this game has become less about civilians versus mafia and more about civilians versus independents. The Vfd exists.Golden wrote:It's simple really. If we were to give the cult a break and let them try to win, sorsha just kills a cult member to delay their victory and put them in the same position tomorrow. Town doesn't have the luxury of being merciful.
Personally I'd say if Sunny wasn't sure who to shoot they should aim for the VFD, no point in maybe killing townies. However, I think the chances of the civs winning this phase is high.
@Golden I'm pretty certain Dom is a civ, I don't think a mafia Dom would vote for.
Also do we think Poe was blocked last night? It could explain the no kill from Olaf, but there was an attempted kill. I'm very unsure here, the final baddies/baddie has to be between MP, Daisy, and Sorsha.
So I suggest we decide on one, I guess Sorsha, and go for it.

what is helpful to you?Jackofhearts2005 wrote:The thing that gets me is that if Sorsha is the last scummer and Sig gets lynched....so what? I don't see Poe, Sunny or Sorsha taking a shot at me tonight.Golden wrote:There is either trust, or there isn't trust. All I want is a straight answer from you, are you going to stick with the town, or help the cult. That's all it comes down to now. The consequence for helping the cult is that, by pushing the day into extra phases, you could risk your own death. The consequence of helping the town is your buddy quin could lose. You're in a shit position.Jackofhearts2005 wrote:Additionally troubling is how the Sorsha reads turned from town to only possible mafia member overnight with no Sorsha posts inbetween.
What changed?
Why is Dom town? Dom's alignment is important for determining Sig's imo. (Cause I think hes a specific townie is unconvincing. I need reasons or at least key posts).
Linki: For the clear? I was mechanically cleared and nobody cared. Unconvincing argument. Why would Sorsha shoot herself? Why would the scum shoot Sorsha if she wasn't scum? No good answer to either of those questions.
I already gave you everything you needed to deduce dom's role, yesterday and today, if you want to try, so that you can get yourself in to the mindset of why dom is a townie. But, for me, it's just about picking a side at this point.
If Sig or Dom is the last scummer and Sorsha gets lynched...I'm probably dead. Sig and Dom have both proved unwilling to listen to me and more than happy to rid themselves of VFD players. Plus, the VFD won't know who to block.
So I need to be sure it's Sorsha and not Dom and/or Sig. Sorsha and Dom aren't posting anything helpful and Sig is openly hostile. Plenty of time to change that, though.
If you think you can end the game with or without me, have at it and good luck.
i didn't intentially lynch a volunteer fire department member. I thought LC might be bad because I know shit about this game.

Sig's suggestion that Sunny shoot at the VFDs says he doesn't think the game ends today, which is troublesome.
I didn't block or kill anyone last night, nor did I attempt to. I'm not bad.
If I had to pick I'd say Dom is likely troupe along with either daisy or mp

DFaraday, two questions before I vote....
1) If a team only has one member left, can that member use their role power (like a block) + a kill at the same time?
2) If yes, then can that block be used to block the kill?

At this point its clear Sorsha is neither dead nor silenced so I kind of consider the question moot, since she was probably blocked by Mr Poe in any event.

I mean, there was discussion of the two different civilian roles that could block her during the night...Dom wrote:Sorsha would have killed herself if she didn't know she would survive?
And, who knows what else is going on.
One thing I'm very sure of, though, is that it doesn't matter what the explanation is for Sorsha being the kill target, she is the last baddie anyway.

let's say poe blocks a killer/blocker

Re: A Mafia of Unfortunate Events [DAY 7]
Day 7 - The End
To the beachgoers, it seemed like just yesterday that they had come so close to meeting fiery ends on the beach. In actuality, it was six days earlier, and their journey had since taken them from the shores of Lake Lachrymose to the heart of The City. The final stage of their journey was approaching with all the speed of the submarine which currently housed them.
"Aye! Land ahead! Batten down the hatches! All hands on deck! Thar she blows!" the captain excitedly gestured. The beachgoers, as part of his crew, helped steer the vessel onto the beach of a lush (a word here meaning "containing many trees and assorted other foliage [a word here meaning "lush vegetation]") island. Several friendly-looking people stepped forward to greet the beachgoers.
"Welcome home, Ishmael," said one of them. "We feared you had left us forever."
"Call me Ish," said MP. "And I would never leave you. I simply ventured to the mainland to encourage others in joining our community. I didn't force them, but I found two more who wanted to come along." At that, Daisy crawled forward alongside Quin, each smiling the smile of true believers.
"Sunny, how could you?" asked Sig tearfully. "What would Klaus think? Or our parents?"
"Quin, how could YOU?" asked Jack irritatedly. "Joining cults is against the Village rules!"
"They're with me now," said MP calmly. Now, I suggest you all leave the Island if you won't join us. I don't want to force you, but I would advise not posing a nuisance."
"Hey!" shouted Dom, finally making his presence felt. "We still haven't found the last killer. I'm not leaving until I do!"
"I say, that's a very good point," agreed Golden, coughing into his handkerchief. "The killer must be brought to justice!"
"And I want revenge for my sister!" said DDL, grabbing Sorsha and dragging her to the water. Sorsha flailed and fought back, running inland and finding a grove of apple trees. Sig, DDL, Golden, and Dom found her and moved in to end this debacle (a word I assume you are familiar with).
"At least let me eat an apple before I go," she pleaded, grabbing an apple. Before she could take a bite, however, Sorsha began choking and fell to the ground.
"I poisoned you on the submarine," said Dom. "Everyone always says I need to stand up for myself, so I figured poisoning was a good first step."
Sorsha reached for the apple, which would cure a certain illness but not the one she currently had. This proved irrelevant, as she collapsed before reaching it anyway. Her androgynous frame landed with a crash on the floor of the grove, ending the Troupe's era of villainy once and for all.
The quartet returned to the beach solemnly.
"Captain, take us home," said DDL. Widdershins started up the Queequeg, and the four headed for home. For DDL, home meant finding his long lost brother. For Golden, this meant returning to the bank in the City. For Dom, this meant moving on after finding out that his wife had been a villain, and had then been dead. And for Sig, this meant finding somewhere to belong, without his siblings for support.
In other news, Daisy and Quin remained on the Island with MP, who continues to advise (a word by which MP here means "boss around") them in his "happy" "community" "."
Finally, Jack decided that it was time to go back to the Village of Fowl Devotees. After spending several months stuck on the Island with the community, he noticed a passing shadow in the water, resembling a question mark. Jack decided to swim out to it, but was intercepted by a stray flying machine, which coincidentally was set on a default course to the Village of Fowl Devotees. Jack returned safely and celebrated with the rest of the villagers.
And so, as all good stories must, this one ends with the eating of ice cream sundaes.
Sorsha has been lynched. She was the Person of Indeterminate Gender.
The Troupe has been eliminated.
Congratulations to the civvies and the Village of Fowl Devotees!

Re: A Mafia of Unfortunate Events [END GAME]
But why end it early? We figured we could force a tie. Or was our math wrong?
