1) If a team only has one member left, can that member use their role power (like a block) + a kill at the same time?
2) If yes, then can that block be used to block the kill?
Repeat of my earlier question as well:
If a role blocker were to role block the PoIG, what would be the result if that person tried to kill somebody but also role blocked the initial role blocker first?
If someone tried to block the PoIG, PoIG's actions for the night would fail. If that's what you're trying to say.
To the beachgoers, it seemed like just yesterday that they had come so close to meeting fiery ends on the beach. In actuality, it was six days earlier, and their journey had since taken them from the shores of Lake Lachrymose to the heart of The City. The final stage of their journey was approaching with all the speed of the submarine which currently housed them.
"Aye! Land ahead! Batten down the hatches! All hands on deck! Thar she blows!" the captain excitedly gestured. The beachgoers, as part of his crew, helped steer the vessel onto the beach of a lush (a word here meaning "containing many trees and assorted other foliage [a word here meaning "lush vegetation]") island. Several friendly-looking people stepped forward to greet the beachgoers.
"Welcome home, Ishmael," said one of them. "We feared you had left us forever."
"Call me Ish," said MP. "And I would never leave you. I simply ventured to the mainland to encourage others in joining our community. I didn't force them, but I found two more who wanted to come along." At that, Daisy crawled forward alongside Quin, each smiling the smile of true believers.
"Sunny, how could you?" asked Sig tearfully. "What would Klaus think? Or our parents?"
"Quin, how could YOU?" asked Jack irritatedly. "Joining cults is against the Village rules!"
"They're with me now," said MP calmly. Now, I suggest you all leave the Island if you won't join us. I don't want to force you, but I would advise not posing a nuisance."
"Hey!" shouted Dom, finally making his presence felt. "We still haven't found the last killer. I'm not leaving until I do!"
"I say, that's a very good point," agreed Golden, coughing into his handkerchief. "The killer must be brought to justice!"
"And I want revenge for my sister!" said DDL, grabbing Sorsha and dragging her to the water. Sorsha flailed and fought back, running inland and finding a grove of apple trees. Sig, DDL, Golden, and Dom found her and moved in to end this debacle (a word I assume you are familiar with).
"At least let me eat an apple before I go," she pleaded, grabbing an apple. Before she could take a bite, however, Sorsha began choking and fell to the ground.
"I poisoned you on the submarine," said Dom. "Everyone always says I need to stand up for myself, so I figured poisoning was a good first step."
Sorsha reached for the apple, which would cure a certain illness but not the one she currently had. This proved irrelevant, as she collapsed before reaching it anyway. Her androgynous frame landed with a crash on the floor of the grove, ending the Troupe's era of villainy once and for all.
The quartet returned to the beach solemnly.
"Captain, take us home," said DDL. Widdershins started up the Queequeg, and the four headed for home. For DDL, home meant finding his long lost brother. For Golden, this meant returning to the bank in the City. For Dom, this meant moving on after finding out that his wife had been a villain, and had then been dead. And for Sig, this meant finding somewhere to belong, without his siblings for support.
In other news, Daisy and Quin remained on the Island with MP, who continues to advise (a word by which MP here means "boss around") them in his "happy" "community" "."
Finally, Jack decided that it was time to go back to the Village of Fowl Devotees. After spending several months stuck on the Island with the community, he noticed a passing shadow in the water, resembling a question mark. Jack decided to swim out to it, but was intercepted by a stray flying machine, which coincidentally was set on a default course to the Village of Fowl Devotees. Jack returned safely and celebrated with the rest of the villagers.
And so, as all good stories must, this one ends with the eating of ice cream sundaes.
Sorsha has been lynched. She was the Person of Indeterminate Gender.
The Troupe has been eliminated.
Congratulations to the civvies and the Village of Fowl Devotees!

Congrats guys. I don't have the best luck with these things

But why end it early? We figured we could force a tie. Or was our math wrong?

Good work guys. Shame it happened just after I left work with my spreadsheet. ill try to recreate it later but it's challenging by phone.
Inh - I didn't kill you! Eloh redirected me, and saved her husband in doing it (I was hoping to silence epi rather than kill him to let him know my role)
Quin wrote:But why end it early? We figured we could force a tie. Or was our math wrong?
Dom's vote was worth 4 at this point, so there were 7 votes on Sorsha.
Oh, okay. I thought it was worth 3. I did my math wrong. Daisy had an extra vote so we thought it'd be a 6v6 tie.

Add me to the list of people you should never recruit ever ever again
This is the third time (that I remember) that what I thought was a sure-fire win has been taken from me on The Syndicate Zodiac, Mad Max and this.
linki: I think I did, yeah.

The thing is, if sorsha hadn't been lynched, I would have been forced to try to kill jack - I couldn't remove the townie numbers nor risk being at 8 tomorrow with only 3 cultists still not wanting the game to end, and potentially no dom to give us a vote advantage either...
If I killed jack, it would have fixed the risk profile. But it would have deprived jack and lc of the win. I really didn't want to have to do that.

You wouldn't have been able to anyway, if we'd made it to another night I'd given Jack the protection for the night.

Actually, before that, we were going to lynch you today

Eyyyy
Good game fellow civs! I did nothing to share in this win with you, but I was following along the entire time and would have been of no use. Absolutely astounded with the teamwork over the past few days. I still thought sig was bad.
Lol. lot of luck with the baddie teams killing each other and Mr. POE being a saint. GG town, and good try there at the end, cultists, you almost had it!!

Scotty wrote:Also who's the wise guy that killed me N1? I'm the only one listed without a killer receipt.
Maybe i committed seppuku because of my uselessness.
I think that was Olaf, if I remember correctly. Someone asked DF later on.

Also lmao zebra was bad both here and in haiku and I was civ in both games. She called me bad in both games at once. Looks like going after me is her standard scum strategy or something.
Also I hinted my role a long time ago. On d3 iirc. I dont think any of you noticed.
Also Sig is the MVP imo for catching sprit and also his use of inventions. He made one that allowed me to form a 48 hour BTSC with him and another person of my choice, and also allow Sig to learn if either of us had BTSC with someone. I picked Golden. The three of us then formed a civ core that pished us to victory.
Golden wrote:Zebra seems incapable of rolling town at the moment.
And I'm incapable of rolling bad. This is my 9th or 10th game in this site and I have been civ every time but one.
For that matter, it is also my first civ win. Rejoice guys, the curse of DDL is broken! After 1.5 year, civs finally didn't lose a game where I was in the player list.
Golden wrote:Sig was phenomenal. Aced this game in every way.
Hey, jack... welcome to the syndicate!!
This. It was great having BTSC with him. I think I'd have gone insane without someone to talk to given how this definitely wasn't my best game. LC too, for the short time we had with him too

This was probably the best all-around game I've seen from sig. He was on point, assertive, and didn't even suffer the kind of random suspicion he often seems to attract.
It was great seeing the mix of characters in this game, from long-time Syndicate veterans, to players who've been around a while but not necessarily played often, and to brand new faces from elsewhere on the Internet. I hope y'all stick around and play some more games with us.
Nacho, I still need to play a non-hydra game with you as agreed.

Awwww Yall are going to make me blush. Great game everyone and golden was spot on with his kills, so was quin until he got recruited.
Thanks DF! Even though I probably gave you a headache with all my questions and items.
I'll post the items I made once I get my hands on my laptop. Until then just know they were great.
Also mp why didn't you recruit me!
Oh and why did the guardians try to kill me?
Oh and epi why did you use my item on Camilate and not Olaf? You made me super paranoid with that.
Good game you guys! Congrats to the winners! Great job to both sig and golden. I really enjoyed following this game in the chat, wish more dead people had joined.

No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.
Ha! I was going to thank Straus for believing in me, but I just had to trust my own luck, because no one believed in me as usual. Snow Dog exemption from that.
