Oi... good game. I was absolutely destroyed lol. I didn't know how to react to ddl not defending himself, and I guess that cooked my goose.

I was sure that JJJ was bad because I referenced his Confusion THREE DIFFERENT TIMES and he still wanted to lynch me.

I was also surprised how greatly you reacted to Button Your Fly Waterpark, which is not one of the original destinations!
Also, super glad you didn't choose Jordache Nation-State, because I didn't have that one laid out yet at all.

You're welcome for removing you from the lynchpoll. :PQuin wrote:I was an embarrassment in this game. I am sorry.

That was probably the best thing that could have happened to us. We stumbled onto a Wilgy lynch, and Boooooosh (and/or kakow).
Thanks for the game Mongoose! I had a blast despite not living very long. But I was soo wrong about Made and Sorsha, it may have been for the best I was killed when I was.

Maybe I'll continue that strategy from now on. Rather then remove players I trusted, I removed players I found to be polarizing topics of discussion. That led the game in other directions, which I think proved beneficial.
Also, I had planned on removing Sockface from the poll for Day 3 so that he couldn't self-vote. :P But he subbed out of the game that night, so I removed Quin instead.

Good game mafia, great job civilians, and thanks for a wonderfully fun game Mongoose. I always appreciate when a game is light hearted and creative like this one was.

Long Con wrote:Felt Mafia 2 [Night One]: The Confusing of JJJ
As Night fell, your eyes became tired and heavy, and you just wanted to rest them for a second. The next thing you knew, you were walking along the edge of a cliff next to a grove of blue, fluffy pine trees. Peering closer, you are surprised to see the pine branches part, and a ghostly marmot wrapped in chains of light reaches out to you, intoning, "Yooouuuu accuuuuuuused meeeee...."
Gasping, you take a step back, and the soft marshmallows that comprise the cliff's edge crumble beneath your feet, and you are falling, falling, and it's raining gleaming diamonds all around you, and you realize that you are the diamonds, tumbling through the darkness and each facet creates a new and more perfect harmony with the whole. Your song echoes out into the vast inky reaches, and it comes back, swirling around you in iambic pentameter:
How sweet, to know the truth behind the face / The face that hides, forsooth, and stays apace / The funky daytime rumble that we seek / Is trapped and deigns to crumble, lost and meek
And you awake... or is all of this a dream, and you have just tasted reality for the first time, even as the wispy fragments vanish from your consciousness...?
Hint 1 wrote:I can understand how you would be confused, JJJ. Sometimes the truth is as difficult to find footing in as a cliff edge made of marshmallows... but everything I have said is true.
Hint 2 wrote:I voted JJJ... this funky daytime rumble deserves a shakeup.

These things should have triggered some sort of memory.Hint 3 wrote:I just wanted to be your friend, and our friendship would rain down like beautiful diamond facets, glinting in perfect harmony... or something like that.

I can't believe that you were responsible for the Boomslang survival, nijuu... you knew that Elohcin was mistaken about her roleblock on Quin being the reason, and you still went after him:
nijuukyugou wrote:Quin: First to break the tie. Not a good look (again, considering what we know). Seeing a lot of back and forth between him and JJJ in the most recent pages that I'd like to look more closely at. OH and that weird comment after Eloh posted? The one about claiming she's the blocker with her comment? Weird comment, no matter how you slice it: if bad, sounds defensive and frustrated after missing a kill. If good, why point out someone you think is the blocker?! Might as well paint a target for baddies.

Re: Felt Mafia 2 [ENDGAME]
1st place was an Invisibility Cloak. If it went to a Civ, it would protect against NKs. If it went to mafia (which it did - Sorsha), it could be used either as an Anti-Block (mandating her action went through even if blocked) or could protect against any night action (yogi's choice, but you had to choose when using it).Epignosis wrote:What were the other prizes for the labyrinth game?
2nd place was a +1 vote.
Because there were so many winners, I didn't have a 3rd place prize.
The Chambray was mentioned in an item in the sign-up thread and also where I initially posted the game in the sign-up room, so that was the clue to mention that - it would have triggered the third and final item giveaway.
The Labyrinth Game was triggered by you all selecting the Meditation Labyrinth as a destination.

Re: Felt Mafia 2 [Day 2]
To be fair, I didn't know Eloh was the Jean Jacket, and forgot there was another blocking/protecting role along with mine. I went after Quin because I honestly didn't see a civ reason for pointing out a suspicion of someone having a specific, important civ role - it IS like painting a target! I also didn't want it happening to me, should another protect be obvious in that manner Sorry, Quin!Long Con wrote:I can't believe that you were responsible for the Boomslang survival, nijuu... you knew that Elohcin was mistaken about her roleblock on Quin being the reason, and you still went after him:

Seeing a lot of back and forth between him and JJJ in the most recent pages that I'd like to look more closely at. OH and that weird comment after Eloh posted? The one about claiming she's the blocker with her comment? Weird comment, no matter how you slice it: if bad, sounds defensive and frustrated after missing a kill. If good, why point out someone you think is the blocker?! Might as well paint a target for baddies. You scum.nijuukyugou wrote:I'm brain-dead exhausted and have done about all the reading I can handle for the day. I'm down with a Quin vote. Not ignoring the weirdness as stated and as transpired in the thread.
I was dying to say something when that protect actually worked, but I only ended up sending Mongoose a message, because

Re: Felt Mafia 2 [ENDGAME]
I actually ended up protecting Sorsha twice, with (clearly) no favorable result, because I was sure, with those votes, that she was civ and the baddies would go after her. After the second protect did nothing and Epi pointed out that she still hadn't been NK'ed, a lightbulb went off and I was down with voting that way. Well played, Sorsha, you devil

Re: Felt Mafia 2 [ENDGAME]
Great game all. The reason I was quite blendy this game is because I always feel weird when playing as mafia. Like, I over think everything when I'm bad and it makes it hard to get much of anything into thread. Regardless had a ton of fun, especially towards the end!
S/O to anchor baddie Sorsha. May we all one day ride her glorious busses to victory.

This game was really a lot of fun, thanks Mongoose!
Epi- did you have info on me or was it just a lucky guess that I was bad?
And after llama called me out as bad day one I did actually tell the team it was okay to bus me. Made and DDL weren't around though and Wilgy didn't want to.

I had no information (I was vanilla civilian), and I wouldn't call it a "guess." My belief that you were good was based on certain assumptions, and, while I was reviewing your posts, I found out some of those assumptions weren't true. For example, I believed you could have voted out llama if you wanted to, but then I read back and saw that you kind of closed that door when you called llama good, thereby forcing your hand a little during Day 1.
You played very well though. I was going to feel like a complete heel if my change of opinion regarding you had been unfounded.

I'll second the assertion that Sorsha played very well. While I did call you out on Day 0, you had me completely convinced I was wrong a few days later. Very expertly played.

I don't want to live in that universe.

Scotty, tell me about the thing I was accusing you of... when you suspected me, then knew my role.

After you questioned me again the other day about "10-4 ole buddy" I went back to the Pl you sent me, which i had explicitly written off, and realized the last bit of the jumbled dogcrap that was sent to me had a standalone like you said in thread, so I knew it was you.
That you kept pressing me to out you made me feel uncomfortable putting a target on your back so I just evaded it and called you civ in my eyes.

Hey I wanted to be sure. Calling me bad after I had, in my eyes, confirmed my role to you... just made me suspicious.
You had the hardest one to connect to me though, since I had said my line before I sent the confusion to you.
