Roles.

GOOD FELT

Big Felt Rolls. The Big Felt Daddy. Sometimes it is good to have big rolls! Cannot be silenced or [secret]. BTSC with Felt Samples, his handy sidekick.

Felt Samples. BTSC with Big Felt Rolls. He might have some tricks up his sleeve, but he has to check with Big Felt first.

Peter Pan's Wardrobe. Anyone that targets him becomes cursed.

Josef Beuys, a German artist who used felt in his artwork. Can make players speak in German. Also: Secrets.

Accordion. Can post a song each night to another player (through the host). Also: Secrets.

Felt-tipped pens. Can send a message into the thread every night.

Pool Table. Can silence a player each night by knocking them into the pockets. However, if he silences Big Felt Rolls by accident, he automatically dies.

Yurt. Can protect another player nightly with its sheltering abilities. Also: Secrets.

Frog Puppet. Has BTSC with Pig Puppet.

Pig Puppet. Has BTSC with Frog Puppet.

Drum Mallets. On even beats (nights), drum mallets can do something. On odd beats (nights), the drum mallets can do something else. (Secrets).

BAD FELT. Secret win conditions.

Hat Maker. BTSC with his baddie hat army. Has a nightly kill on odd nights.

Fedora. Uses archaeology to block another player.

Trilby. This rich man's hat can bribe another player's vote.

Pillbox. Sassy and refined, this hat uses her charm to protect another player.

QUESTIONABLE FELT.

Puppet Slayer. This rogue looks for the puppets. If she finds them, she can recruit them to her evil cabal to create a true triumvirate of terror! also: Secrets.

RULES.

No one likes rules, but we've got to have a few, seeing as this isn't some libertarian think tank!

1. No unauthorized BTSC (behind the scenes conversation).

2. No role outing or information dumping. If you have a concern about this or whether a prospective post is questionable, please feel free to PM me or the game mod, SVS.

3. S~V~S is our game mod. If you feel overheated (in a bad way) by a fellow player or host (that's me), take her to her. That's what she's here for! If you have concerns about my hosting or just generally any issues, she is a great resource.

4. Off-topic conversation is not discouraged in my games (imagine that), but please use Off-Topic green. There's an OT button in the toolbar above.

5. Non-players can post off-topic only, but please use Non-Player blue. There's an NP button in the toolbar above.

6. Dead players can post off-topic only, but please use Dead Red. There's a Dead button in the toolbar above.

7. I will be posting in this color. Please refrain from using it.

8. Be nice. Treat each other with respect. Overly hostile and personal fights force a sad puppy dog face on me, and no one wants that.

9. No double targeting. This means you cannot choose the same person to target on subsequent nights.

10. This game is supposed to be whimsical and lighthearted, so please have fun!

It's early to be throwing out that kind of thing isn't it? Missing a day zero vote isn't exactly a sign of being a baddie.

I won't vote for a low poster or a non voter as it is a holiday weekend often spent with friends and family.
The poll doesn't have an end time so Mongoose is likelywaiting until the holiday is over.

Llama your plan to vote someone bc they did not check assumes you know when the poll will end.so do you have some kind of inside info privvy only to you?

The poll will end after I get back from lunch, so that Day 0 will have been roughly 24 hours. I want Day 1 to start today, so those of you off work will have plenty of time to cavort around the thread.

Day 1: The Felt Up Felt Factory Frenzy: Our Mystery Begins.

A motley crew of animals and critters walk into a felt factory.

The big boss walked in to the foyer to address the newcomers.

"Hello there, young ruffians. Guess my favorite material and you might win a prize!"

She turned on her heeled boot and left.

"What do you think the prize could be?" asked Made.

"Is it a frozen pizza and potato chips?" asked Vompatti.

"I don't know, but let's use game theory to solve it," said thellama73.

"I'm not sure about all this," worried A Person aloud.

"It'll be fine, but we have to give it a shot," said Roxy.

So the wacky denizens of the demented put forth their answers. Some guessed felt, some guessed metals. Others went with leather or wool or alpaca. They inserted their guesses into the box.

The big boss came back out and read the answers. "Sadly, no one guessed alloys, but at least now no one has an advantage over the other. Very egalitarian, this game is," and then she chomped into a tomato like it was an apple. "You'll get plenty of other chances to win prizes. But be warned, the answers aren't always going to be so straightforward as to be my personal penchants. You'll have to dig deep."

The motley crew left Get Felt Up Felt Factory to begin anew.

"Wait, what is it that we are trying to even do?" asked Hedgeowl, sensibly.

"Oh, I think someone poisoned the big boss's assistant's ferret, and she wants to punish him/her," answered Elohcin.

"Wait, I have all kinds of ferret jokes!" shouted Epignosis.

It is now Day 1. You have 24 hours to suss out a baddie.
