Roles (19):

Bipolar RabbitBear - Uses a randomly selected ability every night. The old champion Bipolar Bear was experimented on a lot, and as a result became considerably more unpredictable… ~~ll ~~~~~~e ~n ~~~e~~~ ~n ~~~ l~~e, ~e~~~~n~ ~~~e~le~~ ~~~ ~~e ne~~ ~~~ee ~n-~~~e ~~~~. ~~~~n~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~e~~~~, ~e~~ ~~lne~~~le ~~ ~e~n~ ~~lle~, ~~~ ~n~e ~e ~e~~ ~~~ ~~~e~~ ~~~~, ~~e ~e~~e~ e~~e~~ ~~ ~~~ne~ ~~~~ ~n.

Block - Blocks a player's power every night.

Cupid - Will choose two players at the beginning of the game. When one of those players is killed, his lover will die with him. Once the original lovers have died, Cupid is free to link another two players. If Cupid dies, the curse dies with him.

Curandera - May heal / protect a player every night. Can resurrect a player once in the game.

Death - Death never changes. Can kill or resurrect every night.

Ghost Illyria - An old LMS champion. Kills every even night, inheriting the roles of her victim for every odd day. Can decide at any point to sacrifice her even kill and permanently take on her odd night power.

Ghost Switcheroo - Every night, will choose a number of players equal to the round number. Those players will all exchange roles. Dead players are eligible for role exchange every third night. ~~en ~~e ~~~~~ ~~~~~~e~~~ ~~ ~~lle~, ~~e~e ~~ ~ ~~~n~e ~~ ~e~ ~~~ ~ ~~~~n ~e~~~~~n ~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~n~ ~~~e ~~le~ ~~~~ n~~~~.

Kenny - Will return to life a day and a half after his first death.

Messenger - Can send messages to a different player through the host every night. The player will have the option to reply the following night.

Milton Conrad - Killer of KAOS. Traditional serial killer role, but old age has taken its toll on him. Kills on odd nights only. The very first Last Man Standing from Get Smart Mafia.

Mystery Man - Is very mysterious. ~~e ~~~~e~~ ~~n ~~~ n~ ~~~e~, ~nl~ ~~~~e~~. E~e~~ n~~~~, ~e ~~~ ~~ ~~e ~~~~ ~~~~e~e~ ~e ~~~~e~, ~~ n~ e~~e~~. ~~e ~~~~e~~ ~~n ~~~ ~~ll ~ ~l~~e~ ~~ ~~~~n~ ~~~ ~~~ ~n ~~e ~~ll ~n~ ~~~~n~ ~e ~e~~ ~~e ~~~~ ~~~e~. ~~~e ~~~ ~~ll ~~~ ~~n~ll~, ~ ~~ll ~~~ ~~~~e~~~~~.

Plague - Immune carrier to a deadly virus. The virus dies with the role.

Saffron - Every night, chooses two players. The first player will have to vote for the second in the next poll.

Seth - May strip a player of their role, but only one player at a time. That is to say, if Seth wants to take a second player’s role, he will have to give back the original player’s.

Team (2) - Has BTSC. Can win together. If one of the teammates is killed, the killer will take their place.

Time Bomb - Will die in Night 5 unless cured or switched. If NKd, the killer will die with him. If lynched, the last person to vote for him will die as well.

Ying Yang Twins (2) - When one is targeted, the other will be affected instead. They have BTSC, but do not win together.

Rules:
1. No unspecified BTSC. This is a given. I shouldn’t have to explain.
2. No double targeting. Even if your power changes, you can’t target the same player two nights in a row.
3. Don’t be an asshat. This should also be a given.
4. Dead red for dead players, off-topic green for off-topic posts, non-player blue for non-players. Dead and non-players may not post on topic.
5. Turnip Head will be moderating this game. Have any concerns, PM him. Hopefully this will be avoided by people following the “Don’t be an asshat rule,” but in any case… know you can count on him.

Day 1 - Made survives the lynch.

Day 2 - Epignosis is pardoned.
Night 2 - Bullzeye and Epignosis die.
Day 3 - Nisani is lynched.
Night 3 - fingersplints and boo die.

Introduction (Night -1)

Four years is too long to wait. Last Man Standing 3 had been promised for long, many of the roles drafted for the second game before site limitations had forced The Host to cut them down. But the four years were a productive time. The online Mafia community had had time to rebuild itself from the top, and now in The Syndicate, the options were unlimited. The Host had a whole new generation of players at his disposal, players that had never really known chaos in a mafia game. People often forget, the purpose of online mafia gaming is to have fun. There’s nothing wrong with complex intricate games, but as the first two instalments of Last Man Standing proved, sometimes all you need to have fun is a bunch of messy roles and a shitty host.

So tell me what you want from this game. Day 0 will last 24 hours.

Make sure to look over the roles, btw. There's at least 4-5 roles I made some (mostly slight) changes to.

Good point. Looking at my recent history, that will probably be the case too. Excluding Death Note, in which I was invincible, my recent record is horrendous.

I'm done sending out roles. Sorry it took so long. I usually do pre-written role assignment PMs, but this time I figured I'd take my time to fully explain the dynamics of the more complicated roles to whoever got them.

I'm gonna be afk for the next couple hours, but the game is on! Hope everyone checks in before the day is over. There will be no immediate punishments, but I'll take the voting record into account when it comes to replacing players later.

(I'm pretty sure I sent all of the role PMs, but if you didn't get one, just let me know. I haven't Mafia'd in a while, plus I'm stupid and prone to error. Have fun!)

Since we're actually free to in this game, I think that's how I'll probably be voting in the first two or three lynches if we have people who aren't actually playing. Beyond that I think a kill order for roles that should be taken out will become more clear, but since roles can change with Switcheroo, even that isn't especially useful. Killing Time Bomb so you can't be switched into him and killed on N5 would make sense, and lynching at least one of the BTSC pair that can win together so that it's a full LMS game are the only obvious standouts to me, but even killing those roles doesn't really mean anything since they could be ressed/role switched even while other dead/secrets/maybe more stuff.

And I voted to watch others fail, which is obviously the only real option.

Kudos to the host for a great mix of intriguing roles. There a few powers that would be nice to get out of the game early. Now to figure out who has them...

Why would I want to go public with that information LC? Given that this game is all about radical self-interest, listing any roles that I'd like to see done away with conflicts with those players' radical self-interest, thereby potentially making me their target. I get the feeling that this is the kind of game where spiteful behavior is all but encouraged.

Rabbit is rolehinting at being the Bipolarrabbitbear. I think it would make sense for the host to give Rabbit that role as well, for obvious reasons. My vote may go to rabbit8 today, because I am sure he has a powerful role hidden in those secrets.
