Re: Death and Taxes: An Economics Mafia [DAY 7]
I agree with your point about cops breaking games though. I actually stopped playing mafia on a certain place because I got tired of cops soloing the games every time. It's a lot easier for a game to be ruined by excess of information than by the lack of it.
I just differ on the idea of how to tackle the problem. But like I said, I'm open to experience new games from different mods. And yes, I'd play another game hosted by you.

I don't know if Russti is hosting again anytime soon, but llama's Frisky Dingbat Mafia is the next full game in the queue.

On night 4 I chose bacon and eggs for breakfast. It seemed like a good idea, because I knew I was going to NK MP, and I couldn't figure out if he was hogging the thread or if he was playing chicken with me.Sloonei wrote:Why me Night 2? basically you all have to explain every decision you made all game

I played much more aggressive than is usual for me this game. I usually wait until day 3 or 4 to go hard but I figured I'd get newbie examption from nightkills for a while, and then I also realized I wouldn't be able to play much for most of thr game anyway, so I went even harderer at that point.

Perhaps you were right. Bass definitely interacted differently with me this game than I had ever noticed before. I wonder if I would have pursued that later on.fingersplints wrote:Probably how you were on to Bass

Re: Death and Taxes: An Economics Mafia [DAY 7]
i'd like to but i really shouldn't. after the current RYM game i am going to take a short mafia break until the champs game finale. i am going to need to be fully prepared for that mentally, and any threat of burnout must be avoided. i fully expect to have over 1,000 posts in that game if i live long enough.
but i'll definitely play another game with y'all here soon. it's a lovely community.

Re: Death and Taxes: An Economics Mafia [DAY 7]
Yes, my level of involvement in Biblical Mafia was almost 100% the reason I chose to post in pictures in this game. Had this been a normal speed game like I remember from years ago, we would have all dialed this one in and I could have kept pace in Biblical. But no, you guys had to go and post like crazy here! :P I really was drowning in posts and I latched onto that picture curse notion and chose to stick with it all game. My content contribution increased in this game after I died in Biblical.
Also, I can now reveal that, sadly, I am the reason we had the reset of roles. I was originally going to be Marx in this game but I got my chat rooms mixed up and posted as Marx in the Biblical chat room I had with Lot (aka Golden). I knew Epi was playing this game, so I knew I had partially exposed myself. Had Lot in Biblical not been a player in Econ, Epi would have known I was Marx. I told the hosts right away and they chose to reset our roles. I couldn't even tell the hosts exactly how I had exposed myself as Marx because I didn't know who else was playing in Biblical.
So I'm to blame for the reset and I annoyed you with pictures all game. Aren't you all glad I came back?

Re: Death and Taxes: An Economics Mafia [DAY 7]
I was wondering how that reset happened!
I was willing to give you the BOTD with the pictures because I knew you were putting 110% into Biblical, but seeing how insanely analytical you were in that game, that's why I eventually broke down. I figured your motivations for posting pictures in this game were more likely baddie-driven, since your behavior in this game was SO different than in Biblical, where I knew you were a civilian.

Re: Death and Taxes: An Economics Mafia [DAY 7]
I totally didn't put two and two together when you unsocked yourself in Biblical. I was more worried about Epi figuring out who I was since I didn't know if "Lot" was playing in this game. Your slip seemed totally innocent to me. You explained yourself quite well. Between your win in this game and your win in Biblical, I will be forever tempted to kill/lynch you early in future games. May it be known.

when Golden apologized to Epi after returning to the game, i didn't think it was suspicious. just figured it was a "my bad" for reading Epi wrongly on Day/Night 1 as Golden 1.0.

Awesome! I'm glad we'll be seeing more of you, you made more out of the Nash role than I imagined and were a pleasure to host.Dragon D. Luffy wrote:@Russ. I see your point. I just don't like the ideas of players acting like they don't know something they do, because it makes it feel unnatural. I like things to be more clear cut.
But don't worry, I'm not quitting this site because of this. Your game was awesome in ways no other games I've ever played were, and your ruleset does have advantages which I can't ignore, so it can make things fresh. I've never played a mafia game where I thought everything about it was perfect. Not even the games I hosted were like that. Every host has their own quirks that can make a game better or worse for each player depending on their tastes.
Also, yay banners! Congrats again to Golden and all of our baddie winners.
