Host: Game-mechanics question. Does the kill pass down to Natasha when Boris dies? I assume it does, because who leaves a baddie team without a kill? I mean, you'd have to be the best baddies ever to win a game without access to a nightkill, amirite people?
Does Natasha get to keep seducing, and killing at the same time?

I'm thinking that the vote force PM might not have been sent in. And I think its either Bea or Sprit that is the last baddie.
Linki: I really believe that Niju is civ and that's saying something b/c she is usually very hard for me to read. I feel like I can read her better these days after spending so much time with her in real life.

Now, Bea was forced to vote SVS at one point, or so she says. Do you think this is true, LC or do you think that she is capable of voting SVS as a baddie and only saying she was forced?

i want to hear from blooper if they were Natasha'd. And if not, i think it'd be safe to assume the Bea is the other baddie since it would mean both she and zebra didn't put in a night action. Either that or you can't make actions for AFK teammates?
Someone who's been Mafia before, tell me if you're able to make night actions for your partner if they're afk?

I think that it is a smart tactical move for the baddies to fake being Natasha'd, and that it would be an unreasonable insult to bea to say that she is not capable of such a ploy. So yeah, she is suspect for it.Elohcin wrote:Now, Bea was forced to vote SVS at one point, or so she says. That's up to the Host. I find most Hosts allow it. I allow it when I'm a Host - it's very reasonable considering that we have players from all different time zones, with work schedules and such.sprityo wrote:i want to hear from blooper if they were Natasha'd. No death doesn't necessarily mean a missed PM. There's protectors, roleblockers, trying to kill an unkillable role, and probably a bunch of other possibilities.

Well I'm assuming moose can't roleblock a kill right. And you said you were Scrooges earlier in the game so that couldn't have happened. Both players with a survive ability are dead and squirrel is dead.

Why would you assume that? Every roleblocker I have ever seen can roleblock the kill when they target the killer. It's, like, the main goal of such a role in any game that includes it.sprityo wrote:Well I'm assuming moose can't roleblock a kill right. Re: Rocky and Bullwinkle - The Legend of Frostbite Falls [N6
Then only possibilities for the kill not to happen is:
1. Didn't submit kill.
2. Chose not to kill.
3. Some role blocking is allowed to block killing action?
4. LC wasn't scrooched and zebra was.
I mean, I trust LC though. A little. And if bea is town, then I will fall right on my face and die.
Linki: where I played Mafia, role blocking only blocked every other actions besides kills. Kills were their own actions

I'm not trying to insult bea. She is just very loyal to SVS all the time. I guess I was asking, do you think she would do that to SVS even if bad. From my experience, I would imagine she'd avoid lynching/killing SVS unless she HAD to.Long Con wrote:I think that it is a smart tactical move for the baddies to fake being Natasha'd, and that it would be an unreasonable insult to bea to say that she is not capable of such a ploy. Re: Rocky and Bullwinkle - The Legend of Frostbite Falls [N6
Maybe. I don't think it matters, I believe that Snidely would be trying to find the last baddie and end the game as much as any Civ. He has to survive, and the longer we don't lynch Natasha and end the game, the less likely it is that he'll survive and win. Half his Win Condition was achieved when Sorsha bit the dust, so I'm happy for him in that regard - especially if dead players can win if their team wins, because then Nell AND Snidely can win together! I don't remember if dead players can win in this game.sprityo wrote:LC, do you believe the Indy to still be alive?
Ohhhh, I see what you're saying. Yeah, she might have some sympathy toward S~V~S as her friend, and not push her lynch. Then again, she might do it intentionally to make us think that - it's not like they're married or anything. (Whereas BR might kill me if I forced a vote that ended up with her lynched)Elohcin wrote:I'm not trying to insult bea. She is just very loyal to SVS all the time. Take foot. Insert in mouth. Rinse and repeat.
Sorry, LC - I guess you're just a guy who happens to be standing next to a brand new Honda Odyssey, handing out candy :P
I wasn't Natasha'd - I was seriously tinfoiling, and am still a little paranoid (as I always am in mafia - I hate being tricked, and it's a wonder I continue to play sometimes). So I'm thinking, similarly to others, that Natasha failed to send in her night action, as no one is claiming to be forced.
Rainbow list? I'll do nothing of the sort, for I hate them But I will say that I trust Eloh, as I've stated and explained before, and am feeling hella better about LC after that lynch (I'll always have a bit of paranoia regarding you, and if you've tricked me this time, I'll never, ever trust you again, ever). What gives me pause about bea's vote is that it sealed the deal with zebra, so that makes me think she's good, but the inactivity regarding Natasha could point to her as well. sprityo does look pretty bad in that lynch. I'm going to be paranoid (okay, that's three times using the word, so no more of that) until the very end, because shit, Wilgy could still be bad and hiding behind a bussing vote, as could anyone on the zebra vote, but if I'm going to simplify things, sprityo looks the worst. Followed by bea.

I think bea's vote being last on zebra actually make her look worse, not better. I mean, she could have thought, well, my partner is already being lynched, I might as well vote her for some cred.

Re: Rocky and Bullwinkle - The Legend of Frostbite Falls [N6
Day 8
The group appeared to have reached a sort of equilibrium. With the death of Boris, the bleeding had stopped, and yet there was a sense that not all was well. A tall, dark woman lurking in the corner still had sinister motives on her mind. Unfortunately, Bullwinkle was a sucker for a pretty face, and couldn't danger when he was staring right at it. Will he be able to sniff out the truth in time?
No one has died.
You have 24 hours to lynch a baddie.
A message from Aesop and Son:
Ash Ketchum was having the best day of his life - he had a fantastic breakfast, defeated a gym leader, and caught three Pokemon in one afternoon with little effort - two Magnetons and a Mankey. Two types, one area, no visits to the PokeCenter. By the evening, Ash was dancing crazily in the street, much to the annoyance of his companions.
“You’d better be careful, Ash,” said Brock.
“Yeah,” Misty chimed, “Don’t let it get to your head!”
But Ash was having none of it - in fact, their warnings only made him dance even more enthusiastically, and this dance gave him a brilliant idea. If he was so good at catching Pokemon, then maybe, with his mastery, he could make them into more Pokemon, or even evolve them faster so his Pokedex could fill up! Oh, man, was he a genius!
Ash decided that he’d try for Magnemites first - after all, what was a Magneton but three Magnemites stuck together? He could have six Pokemon instead of two! He released the Magnetons, grabbed one of them, and pulled on one of the Magnemites to separate it from the other two. Misty and Brock stared at Ash in disbelief, but he ignored them. After straining for a bit, Ash actually managed to separate them. For a moment, they remained apart, floating in an awkward lopsided manner away from each other. “YEAH!” Ash cheered, then went for the other Magneton. However, in irritation, both sets of Pokemon released an electric wave, enough to both pull the separated Magneton back together and give Ash a good shock, and flew away as fast as possible.
“Nooooo!” shouted Ash, who ran behind them, but the Magnetons were specks on the horizon in seconds. “Oh, well,” he said, taking out another Pokeball, “I’ve still got my Mankey!” Ash had read that an angry Mankey could easily evolve into a Primeape, and grinned at his brilliance. Brock and Misty exchanged worried glances. Ash ordered Pikachu to give Mankey a good electric shock. “Pikaaa?” whimpered Pikachu in confusion, but did as he was told. “PIKAAAAAA!”
Mankey was shocked. Mankey was angry. And Mankey evolved, all right. “PRIMEAPE!” the new Pokemon shouted, kicking Ash in the groin as hard as possible. Ash crumpled to the ground, and Primeape jumped triumphantly in the air a few times before running away in the same direction as the Magnetons. Brock and Misty doubled over in laughter as Ash wept in pain and loss. “Why did this happen?” he moaned, rolling in the dirt. “Whyyyy?”
“Well, Ash,” said Brock, “it’s like my mom always used to say: ‘Two ‘tons don’t Magnemite.’”
“And,” added Misty, “a fool and his Mankey are soon parted.”

I don't want to live in that universe.

Well my theory seems pretty foolproof then, bea is just not here, so she didn't Natasha blooper, and no one else is. So it has to be bea.

This game has taught me some strategies to use as a baddie in the future... in the right kind of game. I plan to be that conniving, but I think the cigar here is just a cigar. And bea is that cigar.sprityo wrote:Unless someone WANTS me to think that. Naw, no one is that conniving

We'll be in your debt if this cracks the game open. Sorry for all those earlier misguided attacks on you.sprityo wrote:Well my theory seems pretty foolproof then, bea is just not here, so she didn't Natasha blooper, and no one else is. So it has to be bea.

You guys really. I'm not bad. Or sexy. Or russian. I'm still busy over worked bea. 18 hours yeaterday. 4 hours sleep and a meeting this morning. One of 2 days I get to do this this week.
I wish I could say that I had the day to tell you all how wrong a vote for me is, but I dont. I just dont.
It has to be sprit.

We'll still have time to do that, with the two recent missed/failed kills!Elohcin wrote:Yes, but if its not bea, then we owe Sprit a lynchLong Con wrote:We'll be in your debt if this cracks the game open.
