Anyone looking forward to this?

Loved the first one. I've heard different theories on this, debating whether this is an actual sequel or if it's like an anthology thing. Either way, the trailer looks dope.

Should probably see Cloverfield, first.

I just saw that Hulu is coming out with an adaptation of A Handmaids Tale.

I don't imagine that dystopian feminist speculative fiction is everyones cup of tea, but surely someone else must be excited about this?

I loved reading A Handmaid's Tale and I like Margaret Atwood. I didn't care for the last fifty or so pages and felt they were rushed and too out of left field.

I would rather see an adaptation of Oryx and Crake.

I loved the book and will be eager to see the movie or show whichever it is. Let us know if you hear anything more about it.

Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.

Spoiler: show

For me that book is horror story extraordinaire. It is a huge part of the reason I became a feminist and that I fear patriarchy. So fucking scary.

I've seen the movie and found it entertaining. Nice twist in the end. I cannot confirm or deny that this has anything to do with Cloverfield but I can tell you that according to JJ Abrams it does not.
