I think this was a great experiment, and it went pretty well I think overall.
Skip softly, my moonbeams, for I have heard tell
That the stairs up to heaven lead straight down to hell

I think the game should continue as long as there's a chance for either team to win, especially given the significant handicap imposed on civs by the tight time limit (what is chance? Isn't it chance that we didn't correctly guess who the baddies were and lynch them, to a certain extent?) But your game, your rules.
I will keep that in mind for the future. I like your reasons and agree with them regarding the endgame procedure.

The players have more than chance to lynch baddies. But you're right, 1 hour is hardly enough time to do so. Flipping a coin to decide who get's lynched? There is definitely more chance there.

The answer: all of them, if you are a marmot.

I definitely want to play another of these, but I will be spending quality time with family and friends (better friends than all you suckas!) the day after Thanksgiving, so I'm out on that one.

I don't want to live in that universe.

I don't agree with splintsy on this. I think the vanilla roles were fine and appropriate.
Just give me the baddie role then and we will all be fine :feb:

I'm just saying I personally see "vanilla civvie" and I think "ugh why bother" Everyone is different. I think they worked out fine and helped with the balance of the game. I'm just saying my view of receiving one and how it makes me less interested in a game when I don't get an ability.

Any game with 6 civilians and 2 Mafia is unbalanced. You need AT LEAST 8 civilians to have 2 Mafia.

this was fun - i would play again if i had time i knew i could do nothing but this. The day after Thanksgiving doesnt work for me - shopping and christmas tree - but I'll look for another sometime soon I hope. Also I agree with Epi - 8 civs for 2 mafia.

Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.
