Re: The Sea, The Sea! [Day 1]
Taking the low poster route I see! but seriously there is nothing to go on right now. Micromafia feels like a game of chance. Since we have a short time left and I may need to save myself I'll wait a bit. So I will either vote Epi to save myself or INH for personal reasons.insertnamehere wrote:Not really anything to go on, so I'm voting for the player with the least amount of posts, which is Hedgeowl. Sorry.

This be how things work, methinks.
A scallywag votes Alfie.
Another scallywag votes Bobbins.
Alfie decides, "Bugger, 'ell hafta save my ballot to put on Bobbins if I want to hear me next 'Land 'o!'"
Now that's got ol' Bobbins one peg in the grave, and it's got 'im thinkin' 'e might hafta save his ballot, see?
But if Alfie and Bobbins both are as good a souls as a good soul should be, then the real scallywag can clank flagons and guzzle 'is rum as he likes, and be as idle as the calm.

Me strongest suspicion be Kate, for saying she might vote aye on a skipper on the back of someone else's tongue.

Re: The Sea, The Sea! [Day 1]
Missed it by a minute. I've been stuck - entirely unnecessarily, I might add - underground on the metro for the past 20 minutes. In that timespan my eyes laid witness to all sorts of human incompetence.
I had planned to vote for Goosey but seeing the 3-way tie I might have broken it by voting for Kate.
Sorry host and players for missing the vote.

Night 1
Forcing Kate to walk the plank (after a brief struggle with Epoignosis and Hedgeowl) was good for a laugh, but as the sun sank slowly over the horizon, the crew realized it was time to get serious, and stop laboring under the delusion that they all got to pick individual ships.
“We’re all in this together,” Kate would have said if she were still alive.
“Not me,” said INH. “I have an imaginary submarine.”
“No you don’t” corrected Epignosis.
“Hey guys, what are we doing out here anyway?” Mongoose asked. “I mean, I appreciate a good sail as much as the next person, but what’s the dealio, yo?”
“Yeah, what’s our mandate?” was Hedgeowl’s unoriginal contribution.
Well? What is it?
Kate has been lynched. She was Captain Nemo

RiP Kate!! Argh, sorry to miss the vote, too many things at the same time. i am torn between exploring new worlds and plunder, but since "exploration" is mostly about plunder i am going with the more honest answer i think.

Re: The Sea, The Sea! [Day 2]
Day 2
As dawn broke over the bounding main, the group of embattled sailors was once again unable to agree on a purpose for their expedition. Just as the argument reached its highest pitch, it was interrupted by the great splash of a huge whale leaping out of the water and sending the ship rolling. Many stumbled, some fell. One man retained his footing, though, a gleam in his eye.
With nary a hesitation, Captain Ahab seized a harpoon and waited, his keen eye focused on the wake of the whale as it came around for a second pass. As it crested, he plunged the metal dart with all his strength into its flesh, and with a roar of agony, the beast turned and slunk away into the murky deep. Were it not for the brave actions of the Captain, lives would surely have been lost.
All was not completely rosy, however. In the ensuing brouhaha, Hedgeowl was found with her throat slit, crammed below decks. Sorry Hedgeowl.
Hedgeowl has been killed by Wolf Larsen. It is now Day 2. You have 24 hours to find the murderer and hang him high.

There's roughly four possible answers to this. 1: You all legitimately suspect her. 2: Both of you have found info on her. 3: One of you is bad, and the other legitimately suspects her. 4: One of you is bad, and the other has info.
