I think he qualified for the mafia champs or somethin, but then again so did Golden. :shrug2:

Realistically with such a huge player count you'll need some replacements from the get-go, so consider me for that. :srsnod:

I don't want to join in right away just because I'm still in quite a bit of pain from getting my wisdom tooth out (saying tooth instead of teeth is just a bad reminder I've got 3 left to go) and I don't think I could really invest myself in the game enough to do it justice.
You didn't get them all out at the same time?

Oh, and do your best not to get dry sockets. It was the 2nd most painful thing I've ever experienced.
My top two are looking good right now so the dentist isn't particularly interested in removing them. The bottom right needs more scans because there's a bit more risk involved because of where the gums are. I'll get that one out soon.

I've been good to my gums so far but I'm almost out of painkillers :scared:
Oh man, I understand that. I got all of my wisdom teeth out at once and it was brutal for that first week. Thankfully I managed to avoid the dry sockets problem.

Yeah, both Golden and Sloonei are in the MU Mafia Championships Finale game. It actually is supposed to start today.

Quin, I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out and I was eating (heh) Chinese food that night at a birthday party.

Sign up sir. :srsnod:

I am not altogether concerned about replacements. I would rather start before summer break is over and I have to go back to the grindstone. :why:

So, basically, this is going to start when the Champs finale does.

You are seriously going to see the most ill-informed, quiet, passive golden you have ever seen in your life!

Yes, G-Man. Do it. Do not attempt to resist. Your soul belongs to the Sock, in the land of endless arguments and walls of texts that is the Syndicate, and you are doomed to keep playing in it FOREVER. You sold your soul to us in exchange of entertainment, and now you are the entertainment.

I'm serious. I would send out PMs and get started, but it takes ages for pages to load. I'm going to try, but hell.

I've been looking into it. It seems there are a couple of things I can try but none of them are quick fixes and likely won't take effect until at least tomorrow. I'm on it though.

All right, I've got roles. Now to send them out. This may take forever, but I'm going to try to get them all out and start tonight.

And with regards to the site loading slow, to clarify, I have no idea why it's happening. Nothing appears to be any different than it has been for the past few months, so why it's randomly doing this now is beyond me, and Bluehost is assuring me it isn't a server issue.

I cannot spend a ton of time looking into long-term solutions for this until the end of September because I'm just, to put it bluntly, ridiculously swamped until then. But I am devoting time to this and will try to do whatever improvements I can on my own tonight, even though I should be working on my paper. Hopefully it'll help.

You forgot JJJ is playing.
And MP.
And me.

Jeez, I'm taking a backseat this game too. Too many cooks in the kitchen at the beginning. You kidding me? I've got nails to go clip and autographs to sign.

Trust me, I will be playing chill, as silly as I can, and probably hardly posting. Just can't handle being normal MP this game. We'll see how long I can keep all that up without getting addicted and supersrs anyway.

I had all 4 of mine taken out at the same time as well, and was eating a hamburger for dinner that night. Never had to use any painkillers, even though I got Vicodin. :faint:

But yeah, it seems most people who recover from it fall into one extreme or another. It's either mine and Epig's side where it's as if nothing happened, or you go a week or longer in moderate to severe pain. Not much of a middle ground like the 3-4 days they normally tell you.

I was in utter pain the next day though. And for a while. :p
