I ask primarily because both of these are new mechanisms, and I think both should be made clear to players signing up, not because either answer really affects me personally. But sure, WE DEMAND ANSWERS.

I designed the mechanism so that hosts decide before sign-ups and should inform their players at the outset, but since it's a new rule or maybe because he is running the 'normal' 24/24, I'm sure Epi just forgot and didn't specify it -- even I forgot at first, lol. It's really designed for flexibility from the host's perspective, but surely it does for the players as well.

I didn't really think many hosts would give their players the option of selecting, but I suppose they could, and so if he does allow the option, I will say that I'm indifferent.

But seriously, my speed games are always 24/23.

As for participation, since we just implemented that, my game is open to anyone (score of 0% or higher).

You will be considered a Non-Participant if either is true:

-You miss four or more votes (these need not be cumulative)
-You do not post for three consecutive phases

If you don't submit a Night action, I will assume that you wanted to forgo it.

Judging by the queue of future games, the only game that could change my mind on that if it happens sooner than that will be Talking Heads (but MP already confirmed it might not until September, which is perfectly fine with me).

I haven't talked with unfurl in a while, but I talked with FH about a month ago and she seemed to be doing really well -- busy with her job. She expressed an intent on getting back into mafia, but I presume she didn't feel her life was at a point where she could do that at the time.
