Rocky and Bullwinkle Sign Ups

#1

Post by thellama73 »

The Legend of Frostbite Falls - A Rocky and Bullwinkle Mafia
Image
This will be a silly fun game with a lot of BTSC, witty banter and as many puns as we can collectively manage to cram in. Featuring everyone's favorite moose, his sidekick Rocky, and all of their pals. No mention will be made of the unfortunate CGI reboot.

Roles:
Civilians - Win when the Mafia is dead.
Image
Rocket J. Squirrel - Protect another player from death nightly.
Image
Bullwinkle J. Moose - Role block another player nightly.
Image
Captain Peter “Wrongway” Peachfuzz - His votes never count for the option he selects, but will be moved to a random other option.
Image
Cloyd - BTSC with Gidney
Gidney - BTSC with Cloyd. Once during the game, they can “Scrooch” someone, paralyzing them for a day and a night.
Image
Dudley Do-Right - Nell cannot die while he is alive.
Image
Nell - Damsel in distress. No power.
Image
Inspector Fenwick -Nell's father. Searches for Dudley Do-Right and if found, they gain BTSC.
Image
Mr. Peabody - Can use the Wayback Machine to role check a dead person. BTSC with Sherman.
Image
Sherman - BTSC with Mr. Peabody.
Image
Aesop - BTSC with Aesop Junior. Together they can post a message in the form of a fable (which must contain a pun) into the thread each Day. Good puns may carry additional rewards (this goes for all other players too.)
Aesop Junior - BTSC with Aesop.
Image
Narrator - Can direct either a lynch vote, or a night action of another player.

Mafia - Win when they outumber the civilians:
Image
Boris Badanov - BTSC with Natasha, Kills nightly.
Image
Natasha Fatale - BTSC with Boris, Can seduce another player into voting as she chooses.
Image
Fearless Leader - Can send one message to Boris and Natasha each night. Survives his first death.

Indie -Wins if he survives and Nell dies:
Image
Snidley Whiplash - Searches for Nell every night and kills her if he finds her.

For a minute I was disappointed that Go GoGophers were not in here but they were on a different show.

I still have a Sherman & Mr Peabody t-shirt from when I was a kid. Gosh this was a fun show,

I shouldn't either, but it's a Llama game which are always fun, I've missed out on way too many Llama games, and the game setup looks cool.

This should be a relxed and fun game. Not too complicated a setup, so hopefully it won't be strenuous on the busy players.

I want to play this game but I'm afraid of playing more than once game at once. I'll take my time before signing up.

I haven't had time to really play a mafia game since July until Arrested Development, and now I've got this huge craving. Plus these roles/characters all look really fun and I'm wondering why i've never watched this show. Is it as zany as it looks?

It's a really smart show with a lot of wordplay/puns. I think it's on Netflix now. You should check it out. It's more slowly paced than modern cartoons, so may take some getting used to, but I think it's brilliant. Glad to have you in the game!

(If sign ups take a while, I may be able to go from replacement to player, but for now I need to stay on as a replacement... if you want/need one in your pocket.)

PS - I love this idea!!!
