Golden wrote:@Mac - are you making an assumption about juliets' role in that statement or not?
Negative.

The post I made immediately after my non lynch was me being not truthful because at the time I didn't want to make a point of my status. Pondering it though it is in the best interests of the town that they are aware that the lynch did not occur because of something relevant to me, not to juliets. I do have suspicion that juliets does have a way to, or did have a way to influence a vote count as per what occurred the previous day, but she was nowhere near being lynched yesterday and she knew it.

linki: Of course I am up for it.

I don't think I really need to answer that question now anyway.

Alright, well I'm still sticking with my Juliets vote from the past few days. Hopefully we can get some answers if she ever actually dies.

OK. In that context, your behaviour yesterday makes a whole lot more sense.

I'm still quite comfortable with a juliets lynch, I just don't want today to devolve into a discussionless wasteland.

What do people think of Wilgy?

Why do people think Floyd is bad?

The way Wilgy jokingly jumped off juliets lynch on two polls now just because I made a passing remark make him an almost certain scum teammate of juliets.

Either that or he has some kind of bastard role that causes him to just do whatever someone tells him to do every time.

You have had a look in to the dastardly mind of a mafia Dr.

Do you think 'killing' himself as part of a failed night (if he knew the night would reset) sounds like his style?

Wilgy tried to produce a scum win from a very convoluted series of hypothetical things occurring from a plan he set from almost the start of the game.

As a scum player, he goes pretty hard on the tactics.

In addition I think that him being targeted by a genuine scum kill attempt if that is what it was doesn't necessarily exclude the likelihood that he was targeted due to being an obvious candidate for being on the opposing scum team to the team that cast the attempted kill.

I believe juliets and wilgy are scum.

Dom, you clearly don't like me personally and that's fine I probably deserve your vitriol for calling you names earlier which I already apologised for but don't necessarily deserve an acceptance.

I do not cause conflict with every post, or at the very least I do not intend to. I don't think it's fair to say that I do that either.

I've already explained why I have been playing the way I have played up until now, and it was very recently. Perhaps you should read my recent few posts on the subject again.

Affinity for Luke, vote for Nutella, Tranq's convenient death, coached-sounding comments...

Although I am starting to think there may be something to the Juliets case, if for no other reason than she's somehow gotten out of being lynched despite being the top discussion point for this long. Still, I feel more strongly about Floyd.

Over and over again, you sidestep questions that are directed at you and create a new situation out of it. This is an example. another is when I asked you who you suspect, and you responded with a question and a list of two people-- yet you call someone scum every day.
So-- why do you seek to sidestep questions directed at you?

Over and over again? I did that initially and I have explained why. I was in the business of getting voted. I've already made that abundantly clear. Whether you believe that is for civ gain or scum gain is up to you really. It is what it is.

I have not been sidestepping questions. I didn't sidestep this one. I answered it perfectly clearly.

If you can't connect all the dots, that's on you.

Why does nobody else seem to be as absorbed in it as you though? Perhaps it's because everybody else can read between the lines? I think so.

Entertain this thought.

Scum team 1, has something dirty on Floyd and are trying to get rid of him to earn the partial civ credit that comes with lynching an opponent. The case on Floyd is recurring and has numerous players focusing on it at the almost exclusion of any discourse elsewhere.

Scum team 2, are basically riding the juliets is scum wagon hard and just following along without putting in much effort at all. The same in reverse, though I have reason to believe that the vocal proponents of this one are town.

Both are scum, opposing teams.

Those who are pushing the Floyd lynch are at the very least prominently represented by juliets scum teammates.

Floyds teammates are the quieter ones agreeing with the juliets lynch.

I'm not associated with any of the various lynch potentials, Mac. I'm sticking with juliets as lynch choice because I understand the case on her and at this point in the game, that's good enough for me. I'm definitely not opposed to a Floyd lynch, either, you can look back through my posts to see I've been consistent on that. Tranq would not have asked Floyd about killing him for no reason. If the lynch comes down to juliets or Floyd, I think we win the day no matter what.

DFaraday, we lynched him in Dune and he flipped civ despite scum slips and other assorted obvscum behaviour. I played scum with him in TH and he played the same. I don't think you can lynch him on his in thread play. He is also real life friends with Luke and they are both totally new to the game.

What do you mean by Tranq's convenient death? Can you please point out the coached-sounding comments?

Because my opinion on Floyd is dependent on how you flip. I think you guys are potentially on a team.
You seriously are doing everything I just accused you of.

I think Timmer might have been misrepresented. I was gone during his almost-lynch and the leaders of that lynch no longer seem to support a Timmer lynch, so I won't either.

Ha! You think I'm paying attention.
Well, if you weren't, then how would you have known to respond?

All right, I am not 100% sure I agree with you here re Mac anymore, since he was the first person I started rereading, but this post made me actually laugh out loud for realsies (at work, not a good thing) :haha:

I started a multi quote post but I lost 2 of my quotes, somehow D'X. I'll use the one that I kept and just reference the others.

All around ditto.

I think the next quote I had was from Mac re: who he thinks is on what "team." I understand why he would think I'm on "team Juliets." A similar suspicion has been stated by Epi (I believe), and I don't think I could say anything that I haven't said already to defend myself there.

Next was a Dom quote: I, too, thought it was interesting that Mac listed 2 suspects in response to your question, and then places 4 other people (myself included) into baddie team categories  I still don't think a Mac vote is wise, but I'd like to hear more from him on this (keep in mind I haven't fully caught up yet). @Mac - where would you place Dr. W and (__InsertothersuspectherebcImmanubandforgot__) in those 2 team categories?

Next was an SVS quote: I also would like to see this situation move on, so I will be moving my vote to Juliets. NOTE: This is not an attempt to be blendy. This is an attempt to secure a successful lynch so that we can move on. I'd like to lynch Floyd eventually :p

I think Floyd's affinity for Luke stems from outside of the game where they are RL friends. In my opinion the case on Luke wasn't that strong in the first place so I'm not condemning Floyd for not voting for his buddy there. I think it would be a coincidence if they were teammates. I wouldn't call Tranq's death convenient for Floyd if it ended up making him a suspect... Tranq was really the only one on Floyd's case, and no one was listening to Tranq. You don't think it could be a setup?

I think he looks bad for how cavalierly he moved his vote off of juliets in a close lynch. I think Bass looks just as bad for similar reasons, because he said Canuck and juliets were both worth lynching but chose Canuck over juliets with no added justification for doing so.

so, you search for your name, in every version, every time you get on the computer, instead of just reading through the posts? that seems like a lot more work. And I don't believe you. I think you're either paying attention or your teammates are telling you when your name comes up. But I'll worry about you later.

My burnout from TH is almost worn out and I have been checking the thread more...

Why does Juliets have so many votes? What was the big convincing thing that somehow convinced damm near everyone. This is strange.

For me, it's more what juliets isn't saying rather than what she is. Since she's been a prime suspect, she's become very quiet, only answering questions directed at her and voting for her competition. It's just not what I expect from a civvie juliets, I think she would want to be more involved in making sure she isn't mislynched and helping us find a baddie.

Then there's the fact that she should have been lynched over Canuck and wasn't. juliets claims she doesn't know what happened and did not expect to survive the lynch, but I simply don't believe her. I think her posts would look a lot different if she truly expected to die there.
