If this doesn't hit, LC's ass is grass.
If it does, he has had info and has kept it quiet for some reason.

This is fun, you guys are so serious about this. Your square and my square have equal chance of finding the ship.

Dude, it's not about squares. It's about working together. I'm super disappoint on this.

In what manner of civilized team could you be seen as a positive contributor? You're the guy that sneaks in to a carefully crafted 30-minute 4th of July firework show and sets it off at the same time, remarking "well, it was all gonna blow up eventually anyway!"

Also @LC I don't see how I'm a cylon for not wanting to just send out the only two civ pilots to die without any thought. Which is what it seemed like was happening at first.

@ Rico, oh, I forgot to mention, it is past time. LC literally posted at exactly 11:49 am EST. So, I'm pretty sure his call will go through, unless we have to wait for confirmation of a sector before moving on. But the 5:49 am time did not wait for confirmation on previous sector to go ahead and call in, so that may give us our answer. Now that I think about it, I don't think we should wait for confirmation before calling a new one, because why would Goldama want to come here every 6 hours for the rest of the game?

Only two civ pilots Kat and Hot Dog can go after the ship according to Golden's post no? So if they die then we have no way to go after the ship

Yes I think we need to lynch all the Cylons.

However, that doesn't mean we should waste a phase trying to lynch Epi if we don't blow up the ship.

Find out who is Cylon; read up on the show's lore (especially on these roles' wiki pages); hope that we kill off all of the evil Cylons before they kill the Humans.

Cool wit me. I meant to ask Goldama about that previously - if we need to wait for results before calling in the next sortie or not.

LC, it was a dick move. Completely. I'm not calling you a dick, btw.
I accept the dick move accusation. I once was shown a super long icicle hanging, and despite my friend's excitement and wonder over it, I said "Cool!" and then touched my finger lightly to it, causing it to fall and shatter. It amused me to purposely be such a jerk, because I'm not like that 99% of the time. Gleeful mischief, not mean-spirited. :D I urge you to hear, in the words of the immortal Star-Lord: "I may be an asshole, but I am not 100% a dick". So comments like this:
sig wrote:That is a cylonish thing to do LC.
...are not necessary.

In other words, just having some fun, plus I truly don't think it matters what order we pick these in when we're searching for one single random (?) square. We'll get it when we get it, and it is pure luck that determines when we get it. It could be on square A2 for all we know, and thus we'll all die of old age before we find it.

Furthermore, I allowed myself to do it because I think it is BETTER to introduce some deviations from the plan. As far as I can tell, we are straight-up following DrumBeats' proposed plan, without alterations, right? Am I wrong about that? I might have skimmed some of indiglo's planning posts due to the repetition of information and the graph-grid thingy. I said it several times before, it's not wise to just follow one person's plan to the letter. What if DrumBeats is a Cylon who is leading us to squares that he knows don't contain the Rez Ship? Why are none of you concerned about this?

You can count on me doing this again at some point if someone else doesn't address this flaw in the plan, and come up with a way to mend it. Going diagonal after reaching A5 was one such proposed idea, but it seems to me that it got fluffed away and the original plan was still the popular way to go.

Linki: Thanks MM. And no confirmation yet.

This one none of my private communication was publicized, but basically I pseudo cleared the doctor and cop and united them with the tracker, whose softclaims I caught. I knew one guys meta well enough to give him a chance to kill me and frame somebody else, knowing that if he were scum he would take that opportunity, and I told somebody else about the plan so if I died it would come down on the original person. Turned out the two people were the cop and doctor respectively and it brought us all together and united us.
That's a whole lot of WIFOM. You'll need another bottle with that much.

Nope, that was it. It was day one and my day one votes are usually based off of very little. Added to that, I haven't played with half of you before, and the other half it's been years and I have to relearn everyone's style. You're honestly lucky you even got that much explaination because I've been known to either random on day one, or vote just for someone who is being annoying. :omg:

In fact, it's kind of amuzing that all of these people are like "Oh, yeah, OA's polo vote is totally pingy..." what about it was? I was correcly saying taht r = t and he kept ignoring it and saying the wrong letter. And then was mis-entering other letters. It's pingy that i voted for him, but his actions aren't pingy? LOL!

I guess thats a question all of us wants answered.

Vote ObscureAllure
18 pages in and this is literally the first thing you've said about me. I said that I was camping and wouldn't be able to respond before the timer ran out. So you threatened to vote for me if I don't come back, after I said I WASN'T COMING BACK. Said prior that polo was my only real suspicion, and why. .... It's day one, people. Just because some other people have apparently figured out the whole game on day one, I take a little more time and thought into figuring things out. Day one is a crapshoot. That was my only named suspish and I voted it. With all of the other craziness going on with near info dumping and people positive of baddieness on day one, the fact that you jumped on this knowing I woudn't be back in time to reply is kind of crazy. Feels like a mafia looking for a place to throw a vote without gaining too much attention. PS, I'm a girl.
Polo wrote:Glorfindel also failed to say So Say We All, along with Vompatti.

S~V~S, Metalmarsh89, SokothQultuq, Nutella and Drumbeats also failed to begin their first post with So Say We All.
Actively trying to get people in trouble? What if that's townies you're getting punished, there, guy?

So I know it's been a while, but I don't remember day ones with so much "I know [this]!" In fact, day one used to be pure drivel. Is it normal for day ones to go like this now, or is this game unique?

I'm only on page 23. Trying guys. Having no cell service up there got me way behind.

If this doesn't hit, LC's ass is grass.
If it does, he has had info and has kept it quiet for some reason.
:scared: But both of those are bad for me!

This is fun, you guys are so serious about this. Your square and my square have equal chance of finding the ship.
Long Con does bring up a good point, or at least he did earlier. Do we know how many spaces the ship takes up? Why not move down and diagonal to cover more ground?
Literally suggested that. To which LC agreed!
Yes I did and do agree. Go with Ricochet's alteration, captain indiglo! I won't interfere again if I'm satisfied with the plan.

If we're going to whip out our members and measure, then I'll join in. I started playing mafia (also/originally known as "are you a werewolf") in PERSON almost 20 years ago and online since at least 2010 or earlier. And I have never heard the term "null scum." Don't know if this is how you usually talk to other players or not, but it's kind of raising red flags with me.
I wouldn't think too much of it. The Syndicate has recently made many more connections with the wide world of Mafia sites, and there is a lingo shared by a great many of them that never really seeped into our culture on Revolution Mafia, The Piano, Hedville, SpoilerTV, or where (I assume) you have played.

Yeah, that's a good point, Polo. Maybe stop selling them out, maybe the Host would have missed their tiny indiscretion.

"Null town", I think mafia could try to be more careful, but that's about it. I would not conduct a proper hunt based on this matter. Plus, I think the Host-related punishments might be the significant factor in this matter.

Am i right that Vompatti and ika's sorties don't count because it hasn't been 6 hours from LC's sortie? Or am I confused.

Literally suggested that. To which LC agreed!
I also agreed to this. As I have been saying multiple times, when YOUR TURN COMES UP feel free to deviate from the planned sectors. I have zero problem with that. But to avoid any problems with this:
Golden wrote: Any person may authorise a mission, noting the 'one every six hours limit'.
It is far more important we stick to the time table, rather than the planned sectors.

LC, please don't jump in again without being a volunteer. My concern is that if we screw up the "one every six hours limit" we may be frakked. If you come in, stealing people's scheduled time slots, we may screw that up, because they may not see that you've stolen it if they aren't caught up. Please don't skim, and then come in and screw with a well thought out plan.

I don't care what sector anyone wants to pick. I have said this multiple times. Please just let's stick to the assigned time slots. This is not difficult. Let's work together.

Right.

I honestly don't think we need to wait for confirmation before doing the next sortie, but I don't have any real facts other than what Goldama said. He didn't say anything about waiting for confirmation, just every 6 hours. I do prefer to hear from him on that, but we have another 5 hours or so until our next sortie is up.

Well, indi, I was the only one posting at the appointed minute. It seems as though that should be the MOST important thing, because although the mission times can slip, lynch times may not. If I or anyone else is present at the appointed minute, then that person should just give the next planned coordinates. It doesn't matter WHO gives them, as much as making sure they are on as tight a schedule as possible.

Linki: ika nailed it exactly. It's not about being polite, it's about being prompt.
