That's quite alright. The setup will be such that it shouldn't matter. Speaking of that:Long Con wrote:I know nothing about Mass Effect, I hope that will be ok.
This will be a semi-open setup, merging the visibility of traditional Syndicate games with the claim-friendly environment of HCR games. By "semi-open", I mean there will be more roles listed than players participating -- you'll know what roles can be in the game, but not what roles are in the game.

Yeah, I'm a YUGE believer in roleplaying in mafia games, which really got me into them in the first place. (Don't believe me, just look at my posts when I was Blasto in HCRealms mafia game...)MovingPictures07 wrote:Intriguing! That'll be neat.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:That's quite alright. Signed up sometime ago, just now posting.
This will be a great game, I'm sure, and mal is a fantastic mod.
Looking forward to experiencing a new mafia culture.
Also, Salarians are gnomes. Asari are elves. Volus are Dwarves. Turians are dragonborn. Batarians are Orcs. And Krogan are goddamn Krogan!

I saw a fan theory that I that I want to believe now that the Asari are just an advanced genetic parasite, since they appear to all the species as attractive not just visually also emotionally, but mating does not alter their biology and makes them stronger over time. IE organic borg type stuff.

We occasionally have Heists where all players are given alternate accounts (we call them socks/sockpuppets) to post fully in character as whatever their sock is. Usually MP hosts these games, he's been working through a series of sitcom themed games and they're always a lot of fun and full of flavor. If you enjoy roleplaying I would highly recommending checking one of these games out if a theme ever piques your interest.malakim2099 wrote:This one actually won HCRealms Mass Effect mafia as Blasto.Sloonei wrote:All players in this game will actually be either elcor or hanar. I cannot wait to see the roleplaying in that game. Futurama and Parks & Rec were top notch. I expect no less from Seinfeld.
I need to actually go create an official submission for it now; I don't think I ever did that, since I was waiting to see which option won the last poll, and then forgot about it.

Welcome aboard, Raven!
The setup is actually designed for 19 players (which is why we intended a maximum of 10 per side), so it's full right now. If one more HCR player wants to take part though we can probably find a way to manage 20.
