Each role has one standard ability and one secret ability; almost all of the latter can only be used once. If one power is in play, then the other is not. Additionally, anyone may forego the secret power to search for a Lone Warrior. If successful, the two gain BTSC and the lone warrior shares the finder’s win conditions.

Must defeat Outworld, the Brotherhood of Shadow, and the Assassin Prince.

Fireball: Liu Kang’s vote is worth two.

Hat Throw: In case of a tie, Kung Lao will throw his hat at the person to be lynched.

Freeze: Sub-Zero’s target is frozen and blocked.

Scorpion
Spear: “Get over here!” Scorpion’s spear drags someone close. If Scorpion is targeted with anything, his target shares in that fate.

Crotch Punch: The superstar finds out if his target is a male or female combatant.

Fan Lift: The princess of Edenia will force someone to target the name above his target.

Scream: The queen of Edenia makes someone insane with a curse of choice.

Nova Blast: Li Mei blinds her targets temporarily, and is able to switch their targets.

Spirit Arrow: Nightwolf’s fires his arrow into the mouth of any person, in search of a lying spirit, and he learns if something that person said was a falsehood.

Vanishing Winds: Using her ninja skills, Jade will spy and learn if someone has BTSC.

Never got into MK, was more of a Street Fighter fan (and Guilty Gear! Faust, ftw.). But Raiden is always gonna be my favorite, solely because he's a BTiLC homage.

Also, MKX looks pretty good. Kotal Kahn is the best thing to happen to this series since the beginning.
