I would love to have :giggles: from HV or :politegiggle: from RM.
Same with :panic: from HV or from RM. -
something that is not that smiley but similar in theme would be welcome as well.
also a blushy that does not make me look like I was going to puke would be awesome. I get the pack was cute - but that one is sad. I'd be happy with a :blush2: or something - :eyebat: - we don't have that one? that one would be good too. I kiss up alot.

Yes, thank you for this, TH. My problem is that I'm usually multitasking when I'm on the site, and when people suggest smileys in games, I think of it, but then it slips my mind, and I haven't found a good method of consolidating the smiley requests.
Spacedaisy started up a thread just like this a while back. But when I think about it, I should have moved that thread to the Lounge. Perhaps I can consolidate the two threads.
This will make it much easier for me to go in and add a bunch of emoticons at once.
I frequently look for the applause smiley from PA and then am sad when I don't find it.

And it's so easy for me to get behind on this, since it falls so low on my site priority list, but I will promise to be more attentive to this going forward.
Just start collectively deciding and I'll start the makeover.

I could even design NEW ones if needed.
That face is only hopeful in the sense that "I hope you are buying what I'm selling, because it may be lies."
And I'm a fan of the old ones. I would be prejudiced against anything new you would come up with.

Don't listen to Epi LC - I'm sure peeps would be honored if you made new smileys for the site.

OK, Alex uploaded a crapton of them to the site last night, and I started downloading them to the board this AM. I thought I also figured out how to upsize the cute colored ones, but they show bigger in the list, but post the same size. Will play more with that later.
I put some on the posting page, but the more specialized ones, and the bigger ones, are on subsequent pages, so the posting screen does not get overwhelmed by smilies. I will move some on the front page back as more get added tonight.
have fun

I often find myself wanting a friendlier/jokier version of
I think a number of people (myself included) tend to interpret as being flippant or dismissive or even snarky in some situations where snark may not have been intended, so it might be nice to have an option that conveys befuddlement/uncertainty/"I just dunno" in a gentler tenor?
( still has his place, for sure, but more nuance is always good! )

Pretty please, LC?
Well, there is this: ... it was designed to fit within something like a 20x20 pixel space, so some details are a little tiny or lost altogether. I could try and make one that's a bit bigger. I can do animated ones... but maybe I'll try some designs that are not animated, but leave the elements within them open to future animation.
Posting pictures of people shrugging with the expression you'd like to see would probably be helpful.

Scaredy always needs a little more love. Not like srsnod... he's got his ducks all in a row, and he knows it.
I added a lot more, I did not add duplicates of ones we already had that were VERY similar. I rearranged a bit, and moved all the moving smilies that took up a lot of room, or the super big ones, off the main page. We have 3 pages of them now, not two.

The Smiley has been pushed off the front Smiley page. I think it deserves to be Front Page Featured more than a few that are there now... ones like and , for instance, are not used very often... but in a funny place like Syndicate, is used many times daily!
