It's quiet hours at the hostel so I can't actually play the song. Instead, you get mime-lip syncing -- which I had to do in front of another human being who surely thought I was insane. This is the best I can do under the circumstances.
Spoiler: show
Boy am I glad you weren't lynched. Yes, we are.bcornett24 wrote:We are allowed to post during the night phase correct?
Well... it will be useful in that my game that's about to go into signups will get the attention it needs to be ready on time. But it's not going to help the Civvies win, unless some detectively types can comb through my voters (and possibly those who specifically avoided voting for me) to find the baddies there.bcornett24 wrote:Long Con wrote:Voting bcornett to hopefully maybe save myself? Will your lynch by as useless as my own?
This is quite possible, but that still doesn't make bcorn a good lynch. And if JJJ was intending to lynch LC from as far back as that, then I'm willing to bet it was a bus to earn town credit. Right now I'm foaming at the mouth for that MP post.Golden wrote:I'll eat my words if LC is bad, but JJJ just played the entire end of day to his own ends and played us all for fools.
He had his vote on brian all day and, without brian even being around, suddenly declared him to be good.
I think JJ's play all day has been about killing LC, despite any people talking to him about LC. Despite the fact its pointed out by people who know LC well that all the people voting for him do not.
There are only a small handful of explanations for this, and not many of them feel civilian-aligned to me.
I play on RYM, they know me!Matt F wrote:Golden gets pretty into the game, if I recall, just so the RYMers know. I don't think he meant that JJJ was literally a fool. I only wanted to point this out before any arguments occur.

So this is what happened with me not being around the last two days? People thinking I am lie low or something? I'll be going back and the last 500+ posts over the next day.Golden wrote:I'll eat my words if LC is bad, but JJJ just played the entire end of day to his own ends and played us all for fools.

Why so glad?Rbzmncaeaei wrote:Boy am I glad you weren't lynched. Yes, we are.bcornett24 wrote:We are allowed to post during the night phase correct?
Because the post that I responded to is a clear indicator of how misguided the case against bcorn was.Golden wrote:Why so glad?Rbzmncaeaei wrote:Boy am I glad you weren't lynched. Yes, we are.bcornett24 wrote:We are allowed to post during the night phase correct?
I said I haven't been present since night one, you should be glad I wasn't lynched especially since I'm town aligned, which would be a waste of a lynch.Rbzmncaeaei wrote:Boy am I glad you weren't lynched. Yes, we are.bcornett24 wrote:We are allowed to post during the night phase correct?
Really? I was pushing for your lynch so hard.bcornett24 wrote:I said I haven't been present since night one, you should be glad I wasn't lynched especially since I'm town aligned, which would be a waste of a lynch.Rbzmncaeaei wrote:Boy am I glad you weren't lynched. This has happened to me on RYM twice as well, I happened to be busy during the first part of the game and people immediately assume I'm guilty. I guess I cant blame people lack of participation doesn't help...sometimes not much you can do though.bcornett24 wrote:I said I haven't been present since night one, you should be glad I wasn't lynched especially since I'm town aligned, which would be a waste of a lynch.Rbzmncaeaei wrote:Boy am I glad you weren't lynched. I legitimately felt as though the first lynch which I was indeed wrong about was practical, The dude contradicted himself with regard to the RVS that he was talking about which was really confusing. I didn't feel that any of the other candidates at that time had any real case against them. Though, I also have no idea if that is currently true, as II said I will need to go back and begin reading which I will start on shortly.Golden wrote:@bcorn - don't worry, lots of us are low participation right now.
As I said to BR, I don't think you are bad for 'low participation', I thought it because of the content of that participation.
But, now that we are one baddie down, I'm going to spend the weekend recharging and thinking of the whole context of the game from scratch.
this is true. You weren't a lynch contender until you did this to yourself. Interesting.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:~~~
The most important thing is this I think: I enacted this strategy while under zero pressure personally. I had no need to escape any manner of pressure or redirect attention -- I just came up with an idea and went for it.
I'm not sure if this is a statement against me, for me, or neither, but I guess it's true.motel room wrote:this is true. You weren't a lynch contender until you did this to yourself. Interesting.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:~~~

I like how you default to Scum Mastermind before any other explanation. I'm flattered you think that much of me.Rbzmncaeaei wrote:![]()
This is one hell of an elaborate baddie move, the kind of stuff I dream about doing while I anticipate getting my role card at the beginning of a game. By doing something that has no visible scum motivation and pulling the rug from everyone's feet while simultaneously bussing an expendable teammate who was willing to take one for the team to focus on his own game anyway, you solidify the majority of the civilians' strong town read of you because you sensed that, eventually, people were going to start seconding my opinion of your alignment. It might not have happened until the very end but it would've happened eventually, and now it won't. Bravo.
