I'm concerned that this could either be a bad or good thing. I've always seen night polls give rewards, not bad things.... But the way it's worded as "Frank catching _______" idk. I want to vote myself in hopes of getting a prize but I think I will play it safe. I will vote sabie.

I'm voting for Snow Dog. I still think he's possibly bad. And the result of this night poll doesn't sound like a good thing.

I'm sorry if my random vote before the thread exploded rubbed a few of you the wrong way. I don't see how my day one vote can be included in a case of sketchy votes, since most of you had your own type of sketchy votes that day. I haven't even completely read the thread yet. I feel at that point of the day there wasn't a whole lot going on and nothing I agreed with. I literally served 350 people on Friday and then had to turn around and serve another 67 people on Saturday. I don't appear to be busy, I am busy with the last 5 days being catering jobs. If I need to be lynched for that so be it, you won't catch a baddie though.

Prediction: this poll will result in more votes or a silence for the day/ lost of a vote. Now that i think about it tho, I wonder what roxy got, if anything, because i expect this poll to parallel that previous.

Maybe Roxy and the "Winner" of this poll will interact some how?

So Roxy, Frank, would catch Winner of this poll and maybe find out their role? plausible, but iunno. In Cars video games, and Cars the movie they never say what happens to people who are found by frank, the just say don't get caught.

I think a punishment is more likely than a direct interaction anyways as Dinoco and Frank have no link in Cars.

Night 2: Tying it Up

Image
“It looks like Frank had his way with two folks in the pit crew.”

“They’ll need a couple of paint jobs after that!”

“Right you are, Darrell. Are you seeing what I’m seeing?”

“What is it?”

“It looks like Chick Hicks has found his way into the race.”

“That ain’t right! He ain’t even registered!”

“He’s spinning out of control!”

“He just crashed!”

“That he did, Darrell. Right into Nigel Giersley’s pit.”

thellama73 has been bumped off by Chick Hicks.

It is now Day 3. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

I'm going out on a limb and assuming Chick thought Llama was mafia.
Assuming the above is correct, would Chick target llama during the day? A second question, does it matter yet? I mean if s/he baddie hunting, they're an asset until all mafia are dead.

I don't think they are an "asset". They are still LMS, and can just as easily kill a civvie as a baddie.
I find this choice of kill to be very odd, since llama has gotten quite a bit of attention this game. I also find your comments here a bit confusing. Why wouldn't chick want to target llama during the day if they thought he was a baddie? They need everyone dead to win, and helping lynch a baddie would look good for them.

Wow, I agree that is a weird NK choice. RIPIYWG Llama. Maybe Chick was afraid of him regardless of alignment and wanted him out before he could come back to the thread? Only explanation I can think of.

I still don't understand my interaction with Bass at all. I still believe he could have slipped and I don't get other interpretations to what he said, plain as day. But I'm willing to consider the fact that there was a miscommunication because it is possible.

Considering now what has occurred, I do wonder why Ambray subtly pushed me and agreed with me re: FZ. and my case. Is it because she thought my observations were astute and she is civvie or was she trying to steer the lynch away from a teammate or just trying to manipulate the thread? I honestly don't know.

I know I had a ping of Snow Dog earlier, but I'm not feeling he is bad right now. My reasoning yesterday was due to process of elimination, but considering I was wrong about FZ. and such, that's not a good reason anymore. However, I do feel Snow Dog's posts ever since the one I called out as insincere have been sincere. So I'm holding off on that for now.

I'd like to hear where everyone is looking today.

Dom, that's a very good question. The way my mind started connecting the two was really off of FZ. first, because she at that point had made two posts where I was like, "huh?", and questioned her POV. I then noted almost simultaneously that Bass said he thought I was civvie and that in his catchup post he didn't mention FZ. at all but then tagged on a bit about FZ. in a separate post only seconds after I started questioning her more strongly. Even though Bass slipping comprised a substantial part of my case, and I then linked FZ. back to Bass by her refusal to say anything about him and then subsequent weirdness with him, in my mind I didn't really see them by that point as anything other than innately connected. So I wasn't really particular about which one would go first. It seemed more players were comfortable with voting FZ. I suppose there could have been a reason for that. I just wanted to make sure ONE of them got lynched, so I wasn't going to try to argue harder for one than the other. Does that make sense?

Frankly, I am still considering a Bass vote today. I understand he wasn't linked to FZ., but I still questioned him why he thought I was civvie, the ONLY reason he gave was because I must have had a reason for surviving the NK, then I immediately asked him about DF, and he said he had no read. It just doesn't make sense. I'm not manipulating that; it's exactly what happened. That's why I was so adamant on that point. I know civvies miscommunicate all the time, and that I was wrong about FZ., and Rox says there has been a logical refutation of that, but I don't see it at all, and I still don't get how Bass's logic could be explained more soundly by anything other than him slipping on accident. I know he's a careful baddie, but we all make mistakes, and the targeting is unconventional this game. I asked him his read on me; why would he consider and only state my survival for a reason for thinking I'm civvie and then issue no opinion on DF? It just baffles the mind.

Dom, what do you think of Snowy right now? He's gotten some heat so I'm curious.

Ambray, duly noted. Do you have any thoughts on anyone else?

Snowy, interesting thought. Not sure if I think it was meaningless, but I guess we'll find out.

Exactly what I was saying:
Long Con wrote:It's strange to me that MP's main case was based on a supposed goof-up that Bass made, and yet Bass got no votes and FZ got lynched.
Maybe MP was actually that overconfident that he had magically caught a whole baddie team, but it just smacks of convenience to me. Bass was the one who messed up, but that wasn't as important to MP as the fact that he saw that the thread would more easily go for FZ. The Civvie move would have been to lynch Bass first to be sure, since his alignment is the basis of the whole case, but not even MP voted for Bass.

Probably because I don't feel like there is a great explanation needed. I was busy, I was looking for a reaction. I didn't get one from the person I was looking for one from. I did see others trying to use it as an easy excuse though.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Also Dom, what do you think of BR's vote for you yesterday? I don't remember you saying anything.
He probably didn't say anything because he saw it for what it was.

Why do you think one vote on Dom is such a big deal?

Well we both got scratched paint, that is plain to see. But I believe the real purpose of the poll was to put the cat (or car!) amongst the pigeons. Get us all second guessing. The upshot of it is that thee and me are odds on for being lynched today.
Edited for clarity.

But LC, I was that overconfident. Watch the thread in real time as my confidence builds. It's all transparent:
MovingPictures07 wrote:I'm not going to be swayed by emotion.

I will only be swayed by logic.

FZ.'s post did not appeal to logic.

If anyone can refute my case on a logical fallacy, I'd be happy to consider it. I want people to criticize my case. But right now, I see FZ. and Bass being baddie teammates as a plausible scenario.
MovingPictures07 wrote:FZ.'s recent posts are all panicked and fail to address her own and Bass's behavior adequately.

I am absolutely convinced they are both bad at this point.
MovingPictures07 wrote:I honestly see absolutely no circumstance in which FZ. and Bass are not bad at this point. Can anyone refute this?
MovingPictures07 wrote:I know there have been a lot of posts and attempts to miscommunicate what happened, so to summarize:

- FZ. made a post where she was supposedly talking about a baddie's perspective but never used the word 'baddie' in the sentence. She also used the pronoun 'we'.
- I questioned FZ. on it and Bass immediately amended his previous post to agree that FZ. looks really bad, even though he had stated nothing about her in his post before that.
- I questioned Bass why he believes I'm a civvie and the ONLY reason he gave was because "there had to be some reason" I survived the NK. But as has been made clear, nowhere does it say I survived. It was either me or DFaraday. So to confirm what Bass said, I asked him what he thought of DF.
- Bass then said he had no opinion of DF even though his ONLY reason for thinking I'm a civvie is because I survived the NK. If Bass understood that either DF or I could survive the NK, he would have said the same about both of us. Bass has exhibited no lack of understanding in reading the night post. Instead, it appears he KNEW I was targeted.
- I link FZ. and Bass's odd behavior over the past hour or so. FZ. responds to it, appealing to emotions and calling it "ridiculous", but did not logically refute anything. And she said NOTHING about Bass.
- Then I called her out on it and she finally addressed Bass, saying "there is nothing to anything" and several other very suspicious panicked statements not committing about Bass, even though I asked him a simple question and he gave me a very strange answer.

Conclusion: They are on a baddie team together.

I wish all baddie hunting was this easy.

As for Bass idk you seem to be over-reaching on the connection. I am not seeing Bass' baddie game so far. Mostly bc he is actually posting and giving opinions every other time when he is bad he is Blendy McBlenderson who lives on Blender Lane.

I am REALLY surprised you have not mentioned one word about Tink's terriffic post about Snow who so clearly hopped his vote and vote intention more than anyone yesterday.
LOL that is hilarious! Because here I was thinking you'd be a fantastic candidate for a third baddie teammate. I also think you're lying about not receiving anything from the D0 poll.

Tink's post isn't terrific. I already discussed this with Snowy myself. He said he never actually voted me or Llama and that they were clearly jokes.

Obvious baddie team is SO OBVIOUS.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Lol at Rox's "you do this to her every time!"

You heard it.

Rox, FZ., and Bass are all on the baddie team.

I'd bet my reputation on it. Seriously.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Baddies, you dun goofed.
MovingPictures07 wrote:I seriously will do absolutely anything to prove to everyone else I'm right. At least about Bass and FZ.

I'm less sure about Rox, but I'm really starting to feel she's on the team as well.

You're on, Bass. Sig bet it is.
MovingPictures07 wrote:I will NOT back down from this.

Bass and FZ. both have clearly slipped.

Sorry bout saying the "s" word I forgot about Simon.
LMAO!!!!! I'm not listening to reason? :haha: :haha:

I'm sorry, Rox, I'm not insulting you. But this is the funniest accusation I've read of me... ever.

If there's one thing I'm doing, it's NOT:

- Avoiding reason

- Believe a "wall of text" makes my logical assessment of actions infallible
- Insulting anyone

Civvies, read for yourselves, and please vote accordingly.
MovingPictures07 wrote:FZ. and everyone, seriously, I am not insulting anyone. I am not questioning anyone's intelligence. I refuse to let the thread be swayed by emotion. I realize civvies use emotion. But civvies do not behave at all in the way Rox, FZ., and Bass have behaved. I will sig bet every last person on Earth that Bass and FZ. are bad.

I just want my intentions to be made clear. If anyone does not understand the ramifications of my case, please read it carefully, and ask for clarification. I have seriously tried to consider EVERY possibility for the actions of the aforementioned, but neither Bass nor FZ. gave a single reasonable response.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Bass, I don't think I said you appealed to emotion. Rox and FZ. have though.

You just have failed to clarify your remarks. Sorry bud.

Now, really. I've already laid out the case. I think it's the most excellent case I've ever crafted and I would bet my mafia reputation on FZ. and Bass being bad. If you wonder why, it's not a meaningless back and forth. Read my posts.

I do not want to keep debating. I have dinner to eat and a paper to write. I've neglected it. If someone actually comes up with a refutation of my case, I would LOVE to hear it. I want to catch baddies after all. It would be terrible if I was wrong.

It's too bad for the baddies that I'm 99% sure I'm not wrong.

Linki w/ Splints: Fair enough. Please read it. I really, really, really think it's self-evident for a reason and there's a reason I'm so worked up about it. I also realize I'm not doing any good jumping up and down right now, so I'm seriously not responding anymore unless someone wants to actually discuss some merits of the case.

What? Why the change?
Well, it's evident to me Bass and FZ. are bad, and Roxy is very likely a third.

Considering they are the baddie team, I do not see you being on that team due to your actions.

I also wanted to say it's interesting to note both FZ. and Bass voted for Roxy in the D0 benefit poll and that Roxy said she has received no benefit. I realize I also voted Roxy, but I think that's something to note.
MovingPictures07 wrote:

Why quote that gigantic wall of text for a small blurb at the end unless you aretrying to control the lynch making everyone look at ot again.

I believe its bc you were getting a bit of heat and he was posting back and forth with you he said he had no read on df - he does imply about you both that he does not want to lynch either of you bc of the poss of either of you being a certain civ role. I don't think it was a slip I think he was genuine in his feeling that he did not want see you lynched. Bass is a much more careful baddie but I shouldn't have to tell you that.
Wait, what?

You do not understand how the events occurred.

Bass said he believes I am civvie BECAUSE I SURVIVED THE NK.

I then asked him what he thinks of DF. He said he had no opinion.

I ask why.

You are not answering that question.

MovingPictures07 wrote:I can't remember the last time I was this frustrated at a game. I will leave for real. Sorry players. I am not intending any disrespect. Seriously. I am not insulting anyone.

Civvies deserve to lose if FZ. does not get lynched this lynch, it's that simple.

No wonder civvies practically never win games on this site. Holy bats.

Llama NOOOOOOOOOOO.

Wow. I'm gone.

Is there any other word you would use to describe this, LC, than overconfident? Because I wouldn't.

So how is any of this convenience?

Or are you just going to keep discussing me and only me hoping that players will find your either manipulative or misunderstood characterizations of my behavior worthy of a vote?

And I was not the one who decided upon FZ., although I do take responsibility for her death. Ambray was:

Ambray wrote:MP I think you may be onto something there. The reason I asked my question about the night kill is because had asked you how you survived and I thought I had missed something somewhere that said it was you.

I am more inclined to vote Fz. The fact that she is just dismissing everything and being a bit rude about it too, tbh - doesn't ring civvie to me.

Infact, I'm going to place my vote there now.
I figured as much.

I'm voting FZ. then, until someone can convince me that my assessment is more likely incorrect than not.

I'm still looking at Snow Dog. I have yet to be convinced that he isn't bad yet.

I wondered about BR a bit, but her explanation has since cleared her with me for now.

I could still see Bass being possibly bad. Need to look at him a bit more though.

It doesn't really smack of convenience to me. It smacks more of MP got his blinders on and couldn't take them off. And I don't think that's indicative of his alignment in and of itself.

MovingPictures07 wrote:Dom, that's a very good question.

I see nothing bad about Snowy.

I am, however, seeing everything bad about you.

Dom, you'd think you'd be able to read me after all the games we've played together, but apparently you can't.

My behavior in this game has been more blatantly my civvie game than almost any other game in recent memory, so I just don't understand why you're fixating on me and not discussing anyone else.

I'm not literally trying to bait everyone into going after just about anyone. NO ONE IS BADDIE HUNTING.

Just seriously look at the thread. Most of the players aren't doing anything. It's frustrating because I keep trying to get discussion going on people. Even still, LC and others come in and don't even comment on whether they believe Bass slipped or anything.
