Night 11 End/Day 12 Start: Turnip Is Gross

Vermont Avenue does not like turnip. Vermont decided to make their distaste plain with murder.

TH has been killed by Vermont Avenue. Thanks for playing TH!
It is now Day 12. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

Captain Planet: Allows the player who uses this power to choose for any other set in the game (meaning not their starting property set) that they or someone they BTSC with has a property of. Once chosen they can then search each night for and get BTSC with (any BTSC either the searcher has or the person they search and find has is also part of this BTSC, and they can all win together). Anyone who holds one of the properties at the time the power is used (even if that card wasn’t their starter) is considered to be part of the set (if traded after the power is used, the person who had the property at the time of use is still the person who if searched would result in getting BTSC with the searcher). Bids for this power are made privately via PM. If BTSC is gained as a result of using this card, any NK anyone in the BTSC has is lost. - Starts at $500

Own The Block: This power allows you to take control the side of the board of your starting property. In order to use it, you must have BTSC or the cards of your could-have-been teammates of your starting property, and at least 1 card from every other set on that side (meaning 1 of each colour at least, the railroad, and the utility if applicable). Once used, any money that would go to the bank from people landing on such spaces, instead goes to you. - Starts at $300

Board Movements
Updated Board (thanks LC!)

Do you think lynching MM was a mistake? Oh wait, that was directed towards my second sentence. I imagine you shouldn't feel bummed, you are in the best place right now aren't you? Vermont doesn't need you dead.

I was just reviewing day 3, because I couldn't remember why we were so lucky with our lynches this game. I have to tip my hat to LC, he called MM way back then.

No, lynching MM was definitely not a mistake.

Well, what do you think? If we can't nail down Vermont, how do we decide who to lynch?

Indeed, I called him out from Day 1.. maybe Day 0.

Let this be another example for the ages of how a baddie expressed trust in a Civvie in order to gain trust back.

I'm not Vermont. I would say Vermont killed TH because he was the most powerful with his hotels. Possibly a frame-up job, which makes me eye HannaK for bringing it up like this. :eye:

What makes you say that he was powerful? To my knowledge he was a pinkie and had only one hotel (if his claims about not having other teammates was true) and was the first player to almost go bankrupt in the game?

He also had Indiana Ave with a hotel.

And, fingersplints, Metalmarsh made it clear that Turnip Head had a teammate, surely something drawn from his knowledge as a Utility. We should look back and see who among the living had landed on a Utility, Turnip Head's teammate is among those people. I'm sure that TH would have traded all his properties and prizes to his teammate since he was so much in the spotlight, and had publicly bought a red hotel.

That's the person we need to lynch today.

I will try to look back, but I am not sure I am willing to trust MM's assessment since he was a baddie and said other false things.

Why do you think someone with properties is more important then someone with a kill? It's still seeming to me like you are trying to draw us away from looking for who has the kill. You have said specifically you are not the player with the kill, but not that you aren't a part of that group.

This smells fishy to me.

I think it's much more likely LC was aligned with Llama, making him a Green.

It's odd that Hanna, who has voiced little for most of the game beyond just going with the flow, would propose such a line of thinking. :ponder:

with so few people left and the fact that TH who has repeatedly warned us about LC becoming too powerful is now dead i dunno, guess it makes sense to express a strong opinion for once.

Turnip Head wrote: I guess we'll see if anyone inherits the kill. I don't know if I believe LC when he says he didn't bid on Beatdown. The reds spent a lot of money on houses, hotels, and Epi's Chance card, while the baby blues were frugal with their house purchases. These were the two established teams when Beatdown was put up for auction. Smart money says the blues at least tried to get the power.
^Also this makes me think there is a real possibility LC is blue and that his team is in the possession of the beatdown power

The only solid reasoning I have right now is that I find the case against LC convincing that he is very likely to be part of a LMS group and as a sole civvie, this is worrying me the most right now, but hey if someone has a really solid case against a player being mafia I am all ears
I thought you were one of my main supporters of the LC/Llama connection.

I think it's much more likely LC was aligned with Llama, making him a Green.

It's odd that Hanna, who has voiced little for most of the game beyond just going with the flow, would propose such a line of thinking. :ponder:
You're still on about that then :p I do not think LC is a green, since I still disagree that he obviously had btsc with llama. I agree with Hanna that he is more likely on the team with the kill.

She has been fairly inactive, yet survived landing on the hotel.
I need to go back over her to see if I see a possible TH connection there. Him having traded off a bunch of stuff is making sense to me. Although, could he have traded off properties as well?

The reds spent a lot of money on houses, hotels, and Epi's Chance card, while the baby blues were frugal with their house purchases. These were the two established teams when Beatdown was put up for auction. Smart money says the blues at least tried to get the power.
^Also this makes me think there is a real possibility LC is blue and that his team is in the possession of the beatdown power
I agree obviously that the Blues got the beatdown.

I just don't think it was LC.

I think it was you.

Well, I thought maybe I was wrong about it, but upon reflection it really seems to make sense.

Why do you agree with Hanna so much?

You both appear to be making some kind of power play.

Regarding bea, that's a good point. But didn't she say she won the $50 for every player power earlier?

I'm voting Hanna for now. I don't like how inactive and go-with-the-flow Hanna and splints have been, and now that Blue is killing, they're way on the offensive. Smells fishy.

Curious what everyone else is thinking though. I'm open to change my vote. But that's what my gut is STRONGLY telling me and I can't ignore it.

Gotta go study and stuff, be back later! :)

In the first post I say that they could be together but not necessarily so

In the second post I say llama might be in a LMS group (not necessarily with llama)

In this third post I say LC might be in a LMS group (not necessarily with llama)

so uhm I wouldnt say I've been the biggest supporter of your theory MP

And please elaborate on how I am fishy and how that matters? You think I have the kill because otherwise I do not get why you would vote for me

Oh sorry MP: I missed your post about saying that I am part of the blues, any reason for that because I can assure you that I am not

"so much?" I agree with Hanna in regards to one thing. That LC isn't a green and is more likely in the group that has the kill. I will consider what you are saying that maybe it is her group with it. TH did go on for days about LC being the most powerful and then is killed. I do not have bts with Hanna.

I am not sure what you mean by power play. The numbers are dwindling, and with the nature of this game if I don't put forth my ideas I could be next. Just trying to play the game

She did say that. If you believe her. It seems like that money would have been used up by now unless she was gaining some other way.
