I don't think it could "go wrong", but it serves little purpose unless they needed to try to win a claim battle later in the game, which sure, a small advantage, but IMO not really worth it unless they had other arguments to kill Rondo.

They killed rondo who claimed doc.

If it was 6 they knew Rondo was lying because Rondo claimed doc and there's no doc that set up.

Rondo didn't claim doc, he just claimed "windward is wrong this is not protect" which is why I initially thought they went after an RB'er, but then I realized it made no sense since they could pretty much guarantee a kill on me that night because I couldn't act and the RBer would've had to guess correctly.
