Belzy wrote: Sat Jul 22, 2023 12:54 pm So we cannot vote for Kate and MR, Ted says to be slanking, Falcon is off to some band, musical or festival thingy, Wilg only puts in naked votes, and some other players still have like 1 game related post, and Sean tunnels me cuz I am CWAC. [Censored]

I need to cool down. Please post @ EVERYONE !
Can you give me reads on the people who are posting?

Do you still think MR is bad?

What do you think of {Kate, SVS, Thunal, Lime}?

In a world where both of us are town, is there anyone that looks like a wolf trying to capitalize on my push on you?
Kate looks townly, SVS null, Thunal townly, Lime null, MR null. I think Ted could be wolf. Wilg and Falcon are bottom posters, so null. I don't have many scumreads.

Not sure about the last part.

You are Zenon, Town 1-shot Desperado. You’re known for posting a lot (namely in anime gif form), playing a lot, and, most importantly, making snap decisions – particularly in the endgame. In a recent game, Wild West FM, you were taken to final 3 and immediately voted the last wolf, resulting in a LyLo that was strictly speaking over in four minutes and two posts. This game, we’re giving you the chance to accomplish a similar feat.

High-Risk High-Reward (Day 2+, 1-shot, Immediate): Spend 6 Snapvote Charges, post Fuck it we ball glgl in bold red text, and ping a player. (When you use this ability, you should also inform the hosts privately.) If they are Town, you will strongman die. Otherwise, you will strongman kill that player. This action resolves instantly.

Wilg, Falcon, epi and Finger are null cuz lack of posting. Wilg made some votes, one poll related. Which is very meh.

Thunal and Zenon are the two I won't vote for today pretty sure.

Ted, Sean, Robyn, Lime and SVS are all in my poe along w/ the 4 bottom posters. That is way too many.

Superbly high confidence readlist that is so clearly accurate that I will not take questions about the placements of people, and anyone who even thinks to ask such a question, rather than simply accepting the obviousness of all the placements, will be instantly scum!locked.

Actually I don't care. Whether this game is slow or not is a matter of perspective. Some people are used to more posts than this, some are used to an easy pace. Being the well travelled and adaptable Mafia player I am, I find the current situation perfectly cromulent.

I agree with your disagreeing of the disagreement.

I don’t find quantity of posts to be extremely telling in mafia. People are generally either high or low posters; it’s NAI, in most cases.

Contributing without actually contributing. Things like mech discussions and some other types of discussions make people "look helpful" without really actually doing that much to be helpful - or are things that people would have figured out regardless and so don't actually give a lot of benefit. Both town and scum do it, so it in-itself isn't really bad, but scum is slightly more incentivized to do it to get townread without actually doing pro-town things.

I consider your posts to me and Zenon about why MR and Kate were not on the poll to be CWAC.
Dude, I explained why it is NAI. You even thanked me for it, and you call it CWAC? Why are you being so damn unfair with me? Half the thread has done ssss-it and you expect me to contribute more than what's possible?
I missed this post earlier, so I'll respond now.

1. Me thanking you was a simple human-to-human courtesy, not really meant as an in-game assessment in any way, shape or form.

2. Some posts that can be considered CWAC are definitely NAI, but when people do little aside from CWAC, that is when it is AI. My issue with you stems from the fact that the ONLY things you've done that AREN'T CWAC are a MR read that felt more like you were interested in pocketing Zenon, and then unexplained reads only given after I point-blank asked you for them (you've given a few other unexplained reads outside of that as well, but only a few and not given a reason for any of them). The rest of your 70 posts were about either the reward thing or just complaining over and over again that no one is posting.

Why is your vote on Zenon?

Wilg so far made lol votes on MR and Kate, a naked vote on Zenon, and that's it.

Come on. Why is half the thread doing nothing? 24 hrs have passed.

an additional thing is i don't know if he'd feel responsible to kickstart the game as a villa, but the worse part is that he's said nobody did anything when i thought brad went pretty hard in the paint before he posted

And I don't know what to think of Zenon. That's why i brought it up.

This really feels like trying too hard to look towny. The mistake about whether or not being on the poll it is NAI, meh. I was more intrigued to her reaction to Belzy telling her is was NAI. She kinda wouldn't let it go, as opposed to your reaction of , Oh, OK.

Not the same.

But not sure if this is bad Zenon trying to look townier, or embarrassed Zenon trying to save face for making an easy mistake. So you know, you poke a bit to see how they react.

I also dislike a big RVS vote train on Zenon.

Okay so I'm stupid and got these in order as I was reading and I'm on mobile so sorting them out sucks.

Tedxt I thought the first post was a decent post for airing out reads. Felt good. Third post quoted here felt like a towny response to what Belzy I think said earlier about Seanzie.

Liked the second post from SVS even if the reads didn't come to a full conclusion at least looked like the gears were starting to turn.

Your ISO:

A bunch of fluff.

A weak "not seeing it" read from SVS.

You misinterpret a post from Thunal (possibly not reading carefully because you know people's alignments already).

Defend Zenon, says you don't think they're wolfy without an explanation, and then tries to say maybe not Zenon wolf if you/MR are both town (but kinda disagree because people's frustrations come out sometimes, even if they try not to)

Says a Belzy post reads town but doesn't explain.

expects more from Robyn, but could be wolf or town, also where ted?

You aren't digging that Ted said he'd be slanking (why is that AI?)

We have the most to worry about with the Zenon voters, but don't try to sort them or give a reason why they have to be scum.

Recapped me/Belzy without suggesting if any of it is AI.

Now you're disappointed that I have you south of null. What exactly in the above should put you north of null? Or is there something there that I'm not seeing (or wolfily excluding)?

I have gone into excessive detail about Belzy. Are you not reading the thread?

Robyn is here but hasn't actually made an impression on me in the least.
I asked for the meme but I also think your over analyzing a pocket that doesn't exist because I don't think Belzy approached me with a real agenda

Because this is exactly how I always play. I'm poking around. When have you ever seen me come in guns ablazin' with a wall like case? I never do that. (Especially not on day 1) I play mostly on vibes and then insist I'm right until someone agrees with me. Right now I'm poking the zenon train and thus far Ted's response has me the most pinged.

I don't like someone coming in and announcing they will be slacking, it's a lazy wolf gimmick that gives one an opportunity to barely post but also provides back up for why they're not posting.

So, there you go 2 strikes on ted.

Let us not forget, my favorite, the NO U. Strike 3.

For my part, what I like about Ted is how handsome he is how he voted zenon early without a word, then later gave a reason for it (bad opening post) after seeing I had the same thought. The progression tracks and it feels consistent with a townie getting an early small ping.
