Who said that? Probably not that recent if so. Anyway. I'm not controlling or laying anything into the way I play this game. I'm playing because Marmot asked me and I saw Thunal was playing. And I'm barely playing.

If we're talking about things I actually do believe somewhat in, it is that SVS calling Scotty paranoid in a (friendly) taunting manner is town indicative for them, and Thunal picking up on exactly that should probably be good for Thunal. I still think Marmot's posts on the first few pages was smelly.

Syn viewing me as happy go lucky is pretty much the opposite of how I feel after getting unsure on Marmot. It's also not at all even a little bit like me in GoC. I'm thinking maybe he just didn't like that I didn't suss him for town reading Marmot, but he's saying other things about me instead. I don't know.

I'm generally a bit tired and haven't tried all that hard to solve this game yet.

Nutella had some quick reads. And then this somehow developed to this whole conversation where Marmot tries to ask Nut why she's Nut. And they both use words while also not really trying to communicate. Like, it's kind of unnecessary to communicate about in the first place, but they do it anyway, but they don't really do it.

Can @Seanzie or @Dyslexicon explain why they scumread Marmot? Because after his recent posts I'm not seeing it. I'm nodding along to a lot of what he said, like townreading Scotty for the observation and initially being skeptical of Epi thinking votes were locked.

The first few pages just reads awkward and wolfy to me. Like "haha, mafia, right? Questioning and such, am I right, fellow townies, haha". His question to Sean isn't something I see him actually wondering about. Neither is his question to Nutella. And then he agrees with Nut's read on Scotty when Nut doesn't have a read on Scotty. It's jitters. Someone said it was jitters actually.

I find not knowing unusual rules is pretty much NAI especially for Falcon. If he was bad he would have stopped in chat first, and coming in almost a day into the game, any halfway decent teammate would have left that info in the chat.

I tend to think the same for Epi, but the fact that he knew there was a post limit … but meh what ossicle benefit would the baddies get from “accidentally” not knowing rules? It seems a kinda straw graspy reason to suspect someone

From my POV, I didn't really feel the need in continuing to one-up in a back-and-forth. You made a good point. I acknowledged it. While I did consider a snarky retort, it didn't feel productive.

What’s bugging me is that post in the middle where sean says ‘at this point it’s a pattern’. Because it seems to me that post is still shading marmot but he’s already reflected that he didn’t suspect him for the reason that he thought he did. Then to follow it up with marmot being one of the only ones in the top town tier? Baffling.

I pushed Marmot early on for a weak reason. I purposefully continued to mount pressure towards him to see how he would react. IMO, he reacted completely fine and did not give me "worried" vibes, which makes me think he is just town.

I noticed this conversation last night, but wanted to see where it went, since i was kinda townreading Syn in general as well, and kinda wanted to know why he thought that was unreasonable

Having read the whole thing again, I think Syn is sincere in the whole exchange, I think he really believes what he's saying. Thunal, maybe not. She feels like she's scrambling a bit. Could be becasue the basis of the suspicion is unexpected (I know I'm always taken aback a bit when someone questions my townread of them, looking at you Sean), but it feels more like she's over explaining a bit. More than a bit in some places.

I could understand how that looks a bit teamy rather than natural banter-y, but since Scottys last readslist has Thunal at the bottom of it less than 24 hours into day 1 (he would have to be the worst baddie teammate ever to bus her so hard this early), and over all I'm t/r Scotty, I don't think I agree re him, but ++ town for Syn out of this whole issue.

this early, that kind of read is easily inconsequential since most people won't even remember that and it's super simple to just go "oh thunal is posting better, +villa now"

Epi - I get the case that v!Epi is probably much more self-conscious and apologetic than w!Epi and that's why he's more likely town from his content thus far.
Dizzy - Far too messy with his reads and cute to be a wolf. But seriously, w!Dizzy I would expect to be more calculated than this (or just lean more heavily into pocketing).
Syn - He's not stilted so he's probably town. I haven't seen w!Syn in years, but I don't really feel like this is it regardless.
Seanzie - I like his needling thus far. I hope he moves on from only needling me and applies pressure elsewhere, but I at least liked that focus.
Thunal - One minor gripe that doesn't stand up to me anymore. Her approach looks good, which I think is fine for Day 1 at least.
SVS - Town. Pushing multiple players with long explanations is very much in her town meta.
nutella - Talked about her already, but her explanation to me was satisfactory and her prods thus far have been fine.
