Well that was a fun catch up read.

We have 4 votes in non consensus places (including Falcons). That leaves 8 of us left to vote(and Rico has been AFK) .

For me, the three people that have votes already are off the table. Dizzy and Thunal are off the table for me since I’m townreading them both in addition to agreeing with LC.

I also town read Scotty and Syn.

That leaves my personal voting pool at Epi, Falcon, Marmot, Nutella and Rico.

I think Falcons belief that making more emotionally accurate posts by using qualifying words (for a tone reader like me) is wolfy is a bit old fashioned, but I don’t shade him for suspecting me for it. I’d rather not vote for him and I’d rather not vote for Rico since the only rationale for that would be low poster.

I think Nutella’s reaction was more frustrated than Wolfy. I also think Marmots bad and don’t see them and Nutella bad together.

That leaves, for me, Marmot and Epi. I’d prefer Marmot, but I really don’t want to spread votes too much do will consider others. I will have to vote half hour or so before EOD as I’ll be driving home when the poll ends.

We are agreeing on alot, I have to be honest, and that helps.

In GOC, it was pretty amazing watching you in thread. You shifted thoughts and positions seamlessly and smoothly without any appearance that it was even a little sketch. You're like a master class in smoothly evolving reads and thoughts. That was more towards the game end, as I recall, but it is still something I associate with you as a baddie. I'm not seeing that at all here. If you're changing your read, you're just changing it, you're not sliding into it, if that makes sense. It's early days and you're very good at being bad, but I haven't seen any reason to think you are from *my* observations of you.

I put you first in that post because you were in the Brad Pack, but Scotty and Syn are probably my greenest reads.

Dizzy - Reasons

Syn - Appears to be loose and is giving off reads in a way that I feel is towny.

Thunal - Liked how she's gotten reads, posts liked #91 because of the description of the read given to Syn that I wasn't able to put into words myself.

Nutella - Is getting reads, specifically scumreads, in a way that I'm used to seeing her get where it basically snowballs.

Scotty - Kind of already explained it.

Marmot - Responses to suspicion all around him feel fine.

I was reading through nutella's ISO to try to figure her alignment out, but I saw this post from you that basically described the things she's doing this game as her town meta. I know that you were kind of a victim of her tunnel yesterday, but do you think she's still town in spite of that? Is the stamp of approval to chop her more of a "on principle" for her pushing you, or do you think it was malicious?

I could still go either way on nutella, but I'm leaning that the above tunneling of you was kinda townie. Given that vote changes aren't allowed and that she could've simply dropped a scumread on your for your sorta background presence and left it at that, but she opted to tunnel you instead, which seems kind reckless for a wolf in Day 1 of a game, particularly of this format.


As for the reaction to your claim: I have on multiple occasions seen wolves react to their scumreads claiming by blaming them, and I don't recall a situation where I've seen town do it, so I do in general see that sort of behavior as wolfy. But I also suppose nutella could simply be frustrated that her vote is stuck in a bad spot now.
