I notice quite a few players saying today that they'd rather vote within their Facility where they already have established reads. I do think that's pretty solid reasoning, but I will not commit my vote to the East Facility players if I find overwhelming evidence of someone being scummy who just happens to be from the West Facility. I like that there's already been a lot of discussion and catch-up on what's happened in each of our respective threads, and I'll encourage it to continue, because it's important to get the full picture of what we've missed. But I would be a little wary of the people who are agreeing to only vote someone from their Facility, because I do think it's an easy way for scum to cop out of voting a partner who's catching heat from the opposite thread. I think the original suggestion was towny, but imo the more who agree with it and push it as the correct play, the more likely that wolves are backing the idea.

Or, in my case and to put it plainly, nobody's telling me where to vote.

Wait, yeah, @Master Radishes what does this even mean? I think you should qualify/explain it.

It means TSP has done nothing to suggest he's town, and so could be scum, but equally has done nothing that screams he's scum, and so could be town. It was a lazy way of me saying he's firmly PoE.

As for why I said it, I was browsing the list and saw his name and forgot he was here and thought 'hmm, if we're thinking a wolf team lacking thread control that could mean TSP too' and then later saw Nutella throw his name out there too.

Ok. Weird expression though. Like, if he campaigned to get pyxxy out then he doesn't necessarily fit on that team. I'm over it.

He's dedicated to posting one-line posts. The only time he seemed particularly animated was in one of his only multiline posts where he ranted about being stuck waiting in a Walmart. It's like a schtick, but it feels like a schtick that promotes slanking. He said on N0 that he would come back on Day 2 and be wrong about everything, but he didn't even really try that as I recall.

In fairness I used the expression in the wrong context anyway. It should probably be preserved for conversations around actual teambuilding and associations and such. Sometimes you get used to using phrases within the wider Mafia lexicon and they just come out almost automatically even when the context is not quite exact.

Anyway I don't know what TSP did or didn't do in the Other Thread, but at least he's been discussed now, and he seems fine enough to me, so I'm moving on. (I didn't really intended to have this be a focal point of discussion anyway.)

Regarding the multiball theory, let's just not worry about it right now?

If we get a whiff of a second team then we are probably smart enough to re-assess everyone who we cleared for 'solving' or pushing a previously-flipped baddie.

As someone who has hosted many of these, there is an inherent shift in the balance if someone from the other team gets caught early (Balance in the thread, not necessarily balance in the setup). It emboldens the other team significantly because the civilians have a lead that isn't on them, and it of course gives them the opportunity to pursue that same lead.

When TWO members of the same team get caught at the same time, well, see above times two.

I raise this point only to highlight the dynamic that multiple teams create- you're going to need something to go on to find a member of the "other" team (if there is one), so see above times three.

I was cursed to post haikus yesterday. Nutella seems similarly cursed today. I don't remember anyone having to do it for D1 though.

This is probably worthless speculation, but: I find the choice of who to haiku-curse incongruous. I was lower posting, not really a main driver of the thread, etc. Nutella has not been that, overall. (Though Nutella was a bit quieter during D2 so maybe post count factors in?)

Anyway, if it was a Mafia role it doesn't feel tactical to me.
