In reading Nook's ISO in East, I can at least say he has a justification for why he was so interested in the Porscha wagon when he heard about it here. He had commented in East that Porscha was obvtown.

There were a lot of jumpy reads, though, like calling Michelle mafia and then calling her obvtown, and the opposite with Dizzy as I pointed out several posts ago.

In reading Nook's ISO in East, I can at least say he has a justification for why he was so interested in the Porscha wagon when he heard about it here. He had commented in East that Porscha was obvtown.

There were a lot of jumpy reads, though, like calling Michelle mafia and then calling her obvtown, and the opposite with Dizzy as I pointed out several posts ago.

The only living players who interacted with Brad are MR and me, Brad did reply once directly to MR and it was sort of a rude response but otherwise nothing much to read into
And Brad never replied directly to me but as soon as I voted him and said he's in wolf meta he complained that he'd just put me in his townreads, as if he was gonna take it back
Nutella and I were both on his townread list but he never interacted with Nutella
And MR didn't make the list at all but had that one interaction

Nanook was a non conformist.

He had some original ideas (like, Accountants can't have tattoos, for instance). He had a strong sense of justice, even when it went against himself. He was a pretty easygoing guy, but wasn't afraid to speak up for himself, or others, if he thought he saw injustice, or something that went against his ideas of right and wrong.

Sometimes he had trust issues. But he was always willing to talk it out, if that was possible. To interface, as it were.

But sometimes he trusted the wrong people, and it got him into trouble. There were times he joked around with obvious stalker daddies. Like today for instance. He thought this mob with torches and pitchforks would listen and understand.

Nah.

Long Con was glad he came on this trip.

He had given up on these excursions for a few years, developed other hobbies. But he was drawn back in, and had been enjoying it. Recently, things had not always been going his way, he never seemed to make it past the first couple days before those annoying pitchfork wavers showed up and ruined his day.

This time it had been different, more like the old days. He had gotten in the thick of it, but had still managed to evade all of the death that was happening around him.

Hopefully it was almost over, and he could soon go back to his life for a time, creating masterpieces and helping to build the family business to new levels. He felt his life was so divine.

But he had done such a good job of evading the pitchfork people, that when he looked over his shoulder to make sure they weren't behind him, he walked right into what turned out to be the real danger.

Long Con has died.

Sloonei stood on the hill overlooking the training camp.

He looked through his binoculars, sadly watching the latest travesty unfold.

He had followed this ragtag group, as they followed those crazy coaches all over the countryside. Watched them dig holes, and play trivia contests where the prizes were murders!

He was a betting man. There were a few people he had bet on; bet on to make it out of this in one piece. But this shitshow was worse than he had expected. He saw no way for him to win his bet now, so he was going to walk away. He had seen enough of this mass psychosis, and was getting out of here before he became a suspect in the investigation that would inevitably be coming, or even worse, ended up in a shallow grave himself. He had done so well in his last adventure, defeating the werecreatures and a giant zombie bear, he had had high hopes for this one. But, no.

He popped his binoculars in his backpack, turned around and went down the far side of the hill. He daydreamed of home.

He didn't look back.

It is now Day 6; you know what to do, you have 48 hours to do it.

The team bus pulled up to a makeshift fair on the outskirts of town, approaching a pop-up fair. Someone in the back yipped with excitement, despite the fact that over the past week the group had been culled past the point of fielding enough players for a team. But that didn’t stop the excitement one bit.

Coaches Scotty and SVS got out and led the group through carnival booths with balloon popping games and dunk tanks.
“What game are we playing?” A player inquired the coaches.

Scotty, with a twinkle in his eye, exclaimed: “It’s not a game we’ll be doing, kiddos. It’s a reading! Everyone likes reading!” The players looked unconvinced as they approached a large tent in the quieter part of the fair, and SVS opened the flap, ushering the bewildered team through.

The sounds of the fair became distant and muffled. It took everyone’s eyes a moment to adjust to the dim lighting. There was a small, round table in the middle of the equally small tent. It was draped in a thick material, with an altar cloth spread out over the top. Incense burned in a tray on the table, the wispy tendrils of the smoke curling and rising and the smell of sage hanging heavy in the room as it dissipated. A woman sat in the large wicker chair on the far side of the table. Her shoulders wrapped in a black crocheted shawl, her dark eyes studying everyone with keen interest as people entered.

"Have a seat," she said, motioning toward the empty chair in front of her with a perfectly manicured hand.

“Nah, we’ll stand. But thanks,” SVS said.

"Don't let the Zealot and his followers dissuade you. The cards can help guide you to finding truth."

“Oh. Well, I don’t know anything about zealots, I just saw your ad on Groupon that said it could help the team find their inner selves. We’ve got a big game coming up and want to be in the best shape we can be.”

The woman sat back and her demeanor immediately changed with chagrin.

“Oh, yes. Of course. Very well.” And she laid out a bunch of cards on her table. “Pick a card.”

Anyway, looking at the flip Sloonei seems to have been a lyncher with a target on LC? Or perhaps some other wincon that expired D6 for some reason? Either way, it debunks any theories that the other side is loaded with all the independents

Although if we truly have five clears, perhaps it's not too hard from a town perspective?
