Day 1: Sing-Song Ding-Dong
Metalmarsh89 looked at the demolished piano and wept. His voice quivered as he lamented the broken thing. “It’s final song was so ugly!” And with that, he sobbed uncontrollably.

“Song, what do you mean song? Aren’t songs things you’re supposed to sing?”

“Quiet, Smart Ass.”

“What do you mean quiet? I’m serious here. A song is something with words. Lyrics.”

“Come on boss, don’t do this now!”

“If you ain’t got lyrics, you ain’t got a song. You got a...a...insteramental. Yeah.”

“Agggh, huh. He’s right you know. Agh.”

“Shut up, Wheazy.”

“Damn right I’m right. A song is sung. You sing a song. You can’t sing anything without woids. Understand?”

“Uhuhuhuhuh”

“Even Psycho agrees, see?”

“Uggguhggg”

“What?”

“Uhhhhhhh………..”

“Boss! Psycho’s been lobotomized! And not in the good way!”

Ok RL just stepped in. I didn't get to read everything I should because of it. I got to go, I voted Aces. I doubt it matters anyways. I'll be back in a little bit but I needed to vote now or I may have missed the vote.

Crap, I meant to post this at 930 pm EST, stupid linkitis.

thatts amazing! bye aces, rih psycho

still reading the last few pages, what struck me as odd while i was side eyeing the thread earlier while i was in the in laws, what how after golden case on aces, votes on MM started to pile up fast. A lot of those votes seemed easy ones, they started coming fast, like when mafia tries to save a teammate, that made aces look bad, that and a kind of overeaction to golden post, one that golden pointed out in his case. will keeep reading, find myself agreeing with rabbit too, specially on juliets.

Good choice Golden and all those who voted Aces! A baddie right off the bat! Bye Aces hope to play with you again.

Epi, I have never watched cartoons except like the Simpsons or South Park. Do they count?

Sophie, there were no votes for Aces when I voted therefore it was not possible for me to be saving him.

Lynch Rabbit... I mean Zombrella! No, wait. I don't know what I mean... :sigh:
I disagree. I do think Juliets is difficult to read most times, but I think she is civ here. I think the "case" against her is silly and that those gunning for her are most likely bad. :eye:

Also, whe Zomb said Aces was a huge asset, I immediately thought maybe she was somewhat referring to his playstyle in Death Note Mafia....he was being helpful there. Zomb, how many games have you played with Aces?

Linki @ MP...funny, Mine are:
1)llama
2)MM
3)Golden

linki linki linki linki
I don't remember if he was in Donner, but the only other game I have played with Aces was Death Note. And he played great in Death Note IMO.

Here's my submission for the cartoon scene. I've gone with a classic Fleischer Bros. Betty Boop cartoon, featuring the inestimable talents of Cab Calloway. It has everything: a classic fairytale setting, rotoscoped dancing, good music, a terrifying hallucinogenic quality, and it makes no sense whatsoever. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

And, thank you for believing in me, RM friends! The people who voted with me also happen to be basically the people who know me the best.

I have to say, I'm surprised though. Looks like the count was still in MMs favour, and I also had a funny inkling like the lynch was going to be stopped too. But it wasn't.

The roles give no obvious reason for the lynch result, especially since we haven't had a night yet.

Yep. And, btw, ping over. You helped lynch a baddie AND you were called out by MP who I think should be lynched tomorrow, frankly.

Sorry MP, you do read civvie. But I genuinely believe you, aces and juliet were conspiring to prevent aces lynch, and I think you showed your hand. If people go back and read, they will see aces shut up, and you come in and start pushing for an MM lynch, and I really think thats what happened.

Oh, and I didn't want to get too in front of myself because I didn't want to have the lynch not go through and be nked. But I always felt as though aces 'analysis' post and his comments on juliet were distancing. They looked so false. But I wanted to stay on the right side of juliet until I knew about aces for sure.

And I was trying to convince rabbit to vote aces because i agreed with him juliet was bad.

Golden I can't find the post you are responding to here but since my name is there I'm curious as to what you are saying. If you are saying you think I am bad could you tell me the specific reasons?

Golden, how could i conspire to keep Aces from getting lynched when I voted for MM before there were any votes for Aces? Are you saying you think I was able to predict there would be votes for him? I just don't understand.

Juliet - I believe you voted to save aces.

And before you say 'aces didn't have any votes'... even if you are civ, you have to acknowledge that it is very likely that some of the baddies know my playstyle well and knew I would be all out on aces and trying to get others to vote for him. A couple of early shots against the bow were required, to dissaude a bandwagon forming on aces. Actually, it looks like your tactic worked, since it looks like MM ought to have been lynched. If you aren't bad, you really look it. Sorry.

Also, Aces call that you weren't contributing to the thread is a biggie for me. Because I didn't buy it at all. I didn't think anyone could reasonably come to that conclusion. I've rarely seen you contribute more to the thread, you were being awesomely engaged. From the moment aces posted it I thought 'distancing'.

I called him on it and he asked me to provide an example of you contributing. Which I ignored, because it gave me all I wanted to know.

It's all about that vote. :suspish:

So we need to look at MP, JC, Zomb, Elohcin and LC. IMO.

I think it was pretty clear votes were going Aces way, and I think changing the direction of the thread at that particular point in time would have been desirable if I had caught a baddie.

I haven't seen anything about LC that suggests to me that he is part of a plot. All he did was point out a fact.

I think you should vote aces, but I'd understand if you don't.

I'm sorry that MM doesn't regret his decision. He may find himself to me a popular day 1 lynch from now on.
this was what i read from golden that convinced me to vote aces. I mean, aces did overreact and seemed frustrated early with goldens case, and thats suspicion too, but MM votes and the timing did came fast and with almost no reason, and thats what made aces most suspicion, imo.
now we have to determine wich MM votes were mafias attemprting a save or starting a bandwagon, and wich were genuine.

OK, well I had absolutely no pre-knowledge of what was going to happen with Aces votes and I think for you to say I did is illogical. I have no idea why Aces called me out in the thread but it was not distancing.

jluiets, about your question to me earlier: i didnt think you were trying to "save" aces, since he didnt have any vote when you vote MM, i think you were trying to direct votes other way (MM), the easy way, since people were naming him cause of the self vote, and aces was also starting his case on aces. it was indeed very convenient timing, and you did vote early. Im not saying im sold on you being bad or anything, i just have my eye on you.

Also MP, sorry but after Ace ended up being baddie, his posts are reading more suspicion, trying to swing people other way.

no idea if zomba vote was geniune or not, have no read on her whatsoever.

have to reread more to give more opinions about the rest of the players.

gotta say im reading civvie golden here, though he is an amazing player and plays similar as baddie or civvie, i just think he is being civvie golden now, wich is a great asset, since we are talking about assets.

i wouldnt claim to be able to read rabbit, cause im not at all, lol, but i find myself agreeing with him too when i read, so i read him as civvie too.

have to keep reading to be able to have reads of rest of the people.

I PMed this set of five (for kicks) to the host a few hours before the lynch

Aces, MP, Juliet, Black Rock, Eloh.

I dunno. Zomb vouched so obviously, I dunno how new she is, but this seems odd even for a baddie when she described him as a good asset after playing only one game with him. Especially when describing llama as not an asset (I've read death note, and I didn't specifically note Aces as being an asset, but I noticed llama as being potentially an asset... if he is good). BR on the other hand voted Aces... but late enough that the baddies wouldn't expect it to make any impact. Eloh, I have a reason but I need to look back and find the post (no, it's not because she bandwagonned onto the porter vote!)
