Rabbit you seem like you are HUGE asset to the civvie team. We should never lynch you.rabbit8 wrote:Zombarella wrote:birdwithteeth11 wrote:Do I get an answer to my question, Zomba?
Linki - Thank you SVS. I didn't realize that I was coming across as overly aggressive. Any yes, I am actually a fairly forgetful player. Sorry about the avatar thing. I'll leave it for now.
BWT - If you will kindly remember, I mentioned earlier (and LC quoted and then I requoted) that I want to pursue a strategy of looking at people who appear to not be reading the thread. This makes sense to me because as a baddie in Roger Rabbit I knew who all the civies and baddies were so I didn't need to read carefully in order to figure it out who was who. I'm not saying that you didn't read and I'm not saying that you're not busy. I'm just saying that I'm not convinced. One reason is that you said you didn't have time to read (MM already posted this). You don't have to convince me if you don't want - but .... I'm just sayin....
You will catch baddies who are not very good at being bad this way. If a baddie is not paying attention a baddie is getting lynched.
Like admitting your role was screwed over.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 2]
Also, have fun with the Ivory Arrow, Ichabod. I hope it is one of the five Treasures of the Orient. I think it's more likely that Ichabod took the Arrow because it sounds like it could be one of the Treasures. If Tim Waldo is the one who stole it, well, dumb move pal, because it really doesn't do anything.
So the Blond Beast of Bremen is now in possession of Black Rock's Two-Headed Elephant charm. I don't know if they did that to screw with the Celestials, or what... I think the Five Treasures are probably the Green Jade Hand, the Silver Buddha, the Two-Headed Elephant charm, the Ivory Arrow, and the Ivory Ball. Maybe the Silver Coin or the Amber Necklace.
Llama, do the Celestials know the five items they're looking for? Interesting if they do, because perhaps they would have gone for those items in the first poll.
From what I have read about HSKeeler, he likes to make seemingly important things be useless, while seemingly unimportant things are actually of utmost importance. So maybe the five Treasures are
the Clock, the Handkerchief, the Juju Berries, the Bottle, and the Nothing.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 2]
I think MM is the Millionaire, and I think Con is in on it.
MM's self vote feels opportunistic, coming on the heels of two other self-votes, a full 48 hours before lynch deadline. He didn't show up in the thread at all until I called him out, 48 hours after the game had started. After his self-vote, he continued posting, but not with much frequency. And then he suddenly became outspoken during the Night phase. Something's rotten in the state of Marsh.
Despite the fact that LC was suspicious of BF, he voted for MM well after it was clear the lynch was heading BF's direction, which makes it seem disingenuous to me. In that scenario, LC should have voted for a player he was suspicious of with the most votes, due to the presence of the Millionaire, meaning he should have voted BF if he was legitimately suspicious of him.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [NIGHT 1]
I made this post when I was upset, Mafia and non-Mafia related - but I wanted to follow up.Zombarella wrote:I am NOT the millionaire and I honestly don't see how what I said could possibly be an endorsement of BF's wild speculation. MM saying that people are talking about it feels like he's trying to stir up trouble. Who is talking about it MM besides you and Liz Keen and now Juliets and now me? MM - are you reading the thread?juliets wrote:oh THAT post. So most people are reading it as her outting herself as the millionaire. I read that nuetrally, i.e., it could be either role but i see how it could be the millionaire role. I've had too much wine tonight and my smileys aren't working for me to find the right one. I need to look again at this issue tomorrow. Thanks for pointing it out though MM.
re: to sophie, yes it doesnt take long to get started.
Apparently the will doesn't even say that BF would have gotten a lot of money when I died. It just says that he would have gotten my stuff when I died. That makes BF's HUGE assumption that I'm the millionaire even more wacky.
on Sophie to see if she actually catches up on the thread or not.
on BWT - not convinced that he is reading the thread.
on all the low posters. If you only make one or two posts per day - make sure that they are good ones.
I feel that BWT is making an effort and I (right now) have no reason to think he is bad.
I feel that I have been totally upfront and fair and honest with MM but he wants to vote for me. That's his right - it doesn't make him bad (probably) but it does make him misguided.
Sophie - she has a lot to catch up on, I'll give it more time.
Low posters? I don't know. Like I said, Ninja stayed alive for a long time in Roger Rabbit by lying low and she was bad, bad, bad. The problem is (and this has been brought up time and time again in all the games I've played) you are all just unknowns....
linki - Oh my! Will read in depth to be sure!

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 1]
Here is my follow up on this post:Zombarella wrote:I'm confused about this inverse thing. Are you saying that if you lynch SVS and she is civ then you doubt that I am a baddie? This is exactly what I was talking about earlier re the buddying up to me. SVS has had BTSC with me before and she knows this is something that makes me crazy. In fact, I think it's what got me NKd (as a civ) in Death Note. SVS, LC, Bea, Golden, I hope that you guys are civs and that you will listen when I tell you to STOP DEFENDING ME!!!! I will be looking at all three of you during the day tomorrow and if any of you flip bad before I die - so help me - hell hath no fury!Metalmarsh89 wrote:Dom wrote: Zomba. If Zomba is civ, I doubt that SVS is a baddie. But the inverse is far more likely.
As for MM and Rabbit - all this speculation is just speculation. What if....millionaire...BF lying....SVS lying....you are missing the main point of my posts (on purpose?? ) My whole problem with what BF said was how it was going to affect my role. Let's just say that I am the Millionaire, wouldn't I be wanting votes to make me stronger? How does what he said ruin that role at all? I'll tell you - it doesn't. Your logic is lazy and lazy logic leads to lynched civs.
In Roger Rabbit - the only game where I played a baddie - half our team laid low the whole game and didn't get killed until the very end. I'd bet real money that this is happening again in this game. Where is A Person or BWT, one little post here and there, just enough to get credit for posting without committing to anything?
@LC - I'm going to use my stock certificate to start a fire tonight. Your suggestion intrigued me, it's not doing me any good, and I don't want Rabbit or MM or SVS or to get anything more than a pile of ashes if they decide that I need to die.
I don't have any reason (anymore) to think that LC or SVS are bad. I'm still thinking about Golden and Bea but I'm starting to rethink my earlier thoughts about these four anyway. It was a pretty paranoid viewpoint that I was taking that in retrospect was probably unnecessary. I just talked myself out of suspecting Golden at all.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 2]
Zomba, most of the people in RR who were low posters and bad are generally fairly low posters though. I guess you'd have to be more specific with whose low posting is bothering you and then we could see if that is normal for that player or not.
Linki: now that RR is over you will hear more from me. but I have a hard time keeping up in big games with weird mechanics, so don't expect me to be as vocal as RR.

How many times do I have to remind you all that I did not self-vote in Death Note?Turnip Head wrote:I think MM is the Millionaire, and I think Con is in on it.
What is Con on? His lawn?

Any particular reason why these folks? Since it is low posters you are after?Zombarella wrote:Today it would be cool to hear more from:
Shep, Bea, A Person, MP, Liz Keen, Sophie, and Eloh.
I'd love to hear more of your thoughts.
Quite a few people not on your list have posted less than Liz or Bea. Why single them out over lower posters, if that is your quest, to lynch low posters?

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 2]
No you didn't, but that was the last game before Roger Rabbit.Turnip Head wrote:I said absolutely nothing about Death Note?
But since you are making a connection between my self-vote here and ones from previous games (Roger Rabbit and Film Director), let me ask you this. What do you think about my self-votes from those games, the reasoning behind them, and why do you think this one is indicative of a baddie in comparison/contrast to those? Here are the reasons listed below.
Here is my reason for self-voting in Roger Rabbit. I was a civilian in this game.
