Po-ta-toes... How do you prefer them? Ofc I loved them baked but I do love to cube them, put them in a bag with some olive oil, himalayan sea salt, fresh ground pepper, rosemary and lemon juice. Mix it around a bit and let it sit for 30 mins, them pour on a baking sheet and bake them. So good!!

Favorite kind of pie? Pumpkin with whipped cream or ice cream on top

Favorite alcoholic beverage? I will on occasion have a glass of wine but I am not much of a drinker at all.

Best vacation and/or place you most want to visit? I've been to Rome and Naples but I was younger and I've always wanted to go back now that I am older. Cancun was one of my fave vacations ever. I would love to go to London and Egypt. Egypt has been a life long dream to see the pyramids.

Best book you read recently? One of the last books I read was one of the Halo forerunner books. I sadly don't get to read a whole lot anymore and I miss it. I have been wanting to re-read the Harry Potter series , also I need to read the last 2 books of The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices.

Favorite current tv series? Ugh,I have too many to name. One of my fave summer shows was The Whispers, it was one I was looking forward too and it didn't let me down. I do love The Flash and Arrow. Supernatural is also a fave as well. I actually need to find a list with all the new shows and their premiere dates for the new Fall season. I am anxious to see Blindspot but it's on NBC and NBC has a way of cancelling great shows. Ofc Supergirl is one I am looking forward to as well . Also The Bastard Executioner looks to be really good. But one of my fave shows and imo one of the best written shows on tv atm is Person of Interest. (ask Typhoony if you don't believe me) It consistently raises the bar each episode with it's writing and it hits its mark every time. Oh I just remembered 12 Monkeys, that show was insane in a good way. (Yes I watch way too much tv as you can tell :P )

Tell me where is Gandalf, for I much desire to speak with him. He was taken by both Shadow and Flame: a Balrog of Morgoth. For we went needlessly into the net of Moria.

Why the b on the end of the orly? I have had this name for a very long time. I am a huge LOTR fan and Legolas is my fave character. So the leggy part of my name is from Legolas. Orlando Bloom's nickname was Orly during filming and so I took the orlyb for Orlando Bloom. So leggyorlyb is short for Legolas Orlando Bloom.

Did you know that your fantasy football's team nickname is "ASS"? Yes, I thought it would be funny to use that nickname as I was typing it in. Aerie is my DnD character and she is an elven archer goddess who has killed a few bosses much to Aces dismay, so I was thinking of something that started with a and said go with assassins , i used that name on another FF team last year.

Which of us will win Week 1? You most likely. I am going to try to not worry about it and have a good time this season. Last season I would get so stressed out and spent most of the games worrying and crying and I got to where I hated football and hated to watch the games. College football on Saturday's were fine, come Sunday , I would start getting stressed and having anxiety attacks, so I was so glad when football season was over. Was also glad to watch hockey as to me it was more fun than football at the time. So this year I am just going to try to have a good time and not stress, if I win , I win. If I lose, I lose. I don't want it to be another season of me hating football and not enjoying it. Plus you have Gronk :P I almost picked him but I just couldn't do it, I loathe the Patriots too much to have them on my team even if it means I had a chance at winning.
As a side note, I have a stressful situation at home and I tend to get more upset/anxious about things that I shouldn't but I sometimes can't turn it off. I know it sounds weird to get stressed and anxious about a FF team but I did.

Leggy!!!!! It's been way too long (other than the social media thang).

And I have to say, follow your instinct on Egypt--it's amazing. But go when you have enough money to stay at really nice hotels. And don't get a stomach virus on your last day of the trip. But the pyramids are amazing. The sphinx is disappointing. But dos pyramids...

Questions:

What makes you laugh?

What's a favorite early memory?

Questions:

What makes you laugh?Great friends make me laugh without them I would feel lost. DH, Aces, Rey, Epi, Typh, Aapje, Heiots and Ambray usually keep me in stitches on irc. Dispor and I laugh a lot at hockey games as well. Commercials make me laugh as well, there are quite a few of them lately that are hilarious. Ofc tv shows and movies as well. They say laughter is the best medicine and I totally believe that.

What's a favorite early memory? Hmmm. There are so many too choose from but one that always sticks out with me is when we were in Rome and I remember my mother buying me the most gorgeous orange roses at the Spanish Steps. They lasted forever it seems, we were there a month and I think I had them for 2 weeks. I don't think I've ever seen a color quite like those again but orange roses are my fave rose color.
Lorab!!! I have missed you as well but still great we can keep up on FB. I forgot to add that I will keep your advice about Egypt in mind. I just want to stand in awe of the pyramids.

I just discovered that there are other sections to this site.

Welcome, Leg!

If questions are still going on, I have a couple:
1) Boxers or briefs on guys?
2) Going to the mall, where is your first stop?
3) Favorite leisure food?
4) What is your favorite mafia game played and why?
5) How long have you been friends with the regulars here?
6) Favorite comedian?
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather;
not screaming like the people in his car

Roxy :hugs:
Sadly no, I dont know how to drive, I get too sidetracked and I will be a danger to myself or other, plus I think the streets around here are too dangerous for it, or Im just to scared to try it
Roxy wrote:How is your Fall weather right now?
Right now it supossed to be winter/rain, but is not, is been very dry, hot, lots of sun, we only get some rain maybe once a week, A weather thing called "The niño" has something to do with been a rainless season
Roxy wrote:Do you have any favorite shirts? If yes what are they?
My favorites probably are a Tool one, a Jack one (the nightmare before christmas) but if I think about it those are not the ones that I wear the most
Roxy wrote:What color are your favorite pair of socks?
Brown with little stripes
Roxy wrote:Will you ever join Facebook?
I did made a facebook account a while ago, but I dont use it much, only if I get a private message I checked it out, I think Im too anti-social for facebok or maybe too private, probably both XD
Roxy wrote:You are always so very sweet - what is your favorite dessert?
hehe, I think more of a salty person, hmmm, I dont think I have a favorite dessert per say, but I eat a lot sweet bread in the morning with coffee, (spanish names like Quesadilla, Alemana are the one I eat the most) chocolate cupcake and others that I dont know their names too. I like pumpkin pie, but I have not eaten in a long time, is not very common around where I live
Roxy wrote:If you can only drink one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?
Coffee, was the first thing that came to mind but in reality will be water

No, only spanish, I took english in school but it was very basic, but I liked music in english, so I think I learned more from listening to music, even if back then there was not internet to look up the lyrics
S~V~S wrote:If not how old were you when you began learning English?

Around 18 I had to learn english cause I lived in the usa for few years, and almost everyone around only spoke english, and I sort learned english from watching tv, so I sort had to know my way around

When I came back to my country, for a while when I was in college I had classmates to practice talking
But I was missing practicing the writting part, so when Lost was around the second season I joined STV, to practice it and thenI joined the World of Mafia, and I thought that was a good way to practice it too, cause involve reading/understanding and writting

S~V~S wrote:I have a working knowledge of another language, but i could never imagine posting to a forum of native speakers. Was that intimidating for you?
It was and it still is, Im very insecure sometimes of making lots of grammar mistakes, and other times I just think oh well thats the way I roll, people eitheir like the way I talk or they hate it

From time to time I have tried to look up grammar classes online, but I get sidetracked or lazy

I still enjoy watching tv shows in english to at least keep my listening in ok level, but I have not talked in a long time, thats more intimidating, then writting it

Up next a little monkey business:

aapje!

I will start the ball rolling.

What is the last song you listened to? Started a game of Civ IV so this one:

Do you watch Gotham? Nope
Whats you favorite show? Not really watching any shows at the moment.
Orange or yellow? See font colour ;)
Whats the best day of the week? Saturday is usually not a bad day
Do you have any pets? If yes what are they and what are their names? My parents have a cat so she's sort of my pet
Do you like the nickname apples? It's not the worst I've heard :P
I read your name as - app - o - gee. is that wrong? Not even close to being right :haha: Again though, probably not the worst I've heard.

2. What one word would you use to describe yourself? Humble
3. What one word do you think other people would use to describe you? Awesome
4. What is your opinion on U.S.A. politics? Mildly retarded
5. I reserve the chance to ask more questions later. Sure!

1. Would you say that the beer, depicted in this picture, is your favorite beer? If not, what is your favorite beer? My favourite beer kinda depends on the situation. For instance on a sunny day I might go for a Wheat beer like a Weihenstephaner. In a pub I like to go for a darker beer like a triple or a double. Parties etc I just stick to lagers.

2. Do you think juliets is a nub? While she has some nubish tendencies overall I wouldn't call er a nub.
3. Can you show us a picture of you and your girlfriend? If not, can you show us a picture of yourself? If not, can you show us a picture of your twin brother? If not, just show us a picture. No, nope, neh, negative, too lazy.
4. How is life? What are you currently doing? Are you still in school? What kind of work do you do? Life is fine. Working with challenged kids so talking to you over the years has been a great preparation.
5. What is your favorite Dutch word? Can't think of one that stands out to me.

I get the impression many of us Americans would pronounce it "app-jay." However, for those who really want to know:

What do you like about playing mafia? I like the scheming and the puzzling. Most games I end up with BTSC so that's cool.
Favorite game you played? Tough one since I have played a lot of them over the years. Could be Sandman mafia. Basically it looked like the civvies were going to wipe the floor with the baddies until Typh and I, who were on opposing baddie teams, gained btsc and made a pact against the civvies. It ended with me as the sole living player.
Favorite role you had? I think I will go with Mr. Popular in Recruitment Mafia 2. Basically I would get points for when people quoted my posts which I could then exchange for various one time powers.
Have you ever hosted a game? if yes which one, if not why? First game I hosted was a Speed Mafia with Typh. After that I hosted Alice in Wonderland with TH, sanderling and sparrow, which was a baddie team from Angel Mafia. We all kept visiting the chatango for a couple of months after the game finished.

So ya like beer but what about liquor? Do you have a favorite type of liquor? Not the greatest fan of liquor. It has a habit of sneaking up on you and it has caused some of the worst hangovers I've ever had. I guess the liquor I have most often is Jenever.
Do you do anything for halloween? Not really.
Cake or pie? Had to look up the difference. Dutch is a lot more sensible and just uses one word for them both. Pie is obviously superior.
Have you ever visited the US? Nope

Who is more fun to pick on, tranq or typh? Tranq is easier since he is a silly Belgian.
What is your favorite time of year? Probably spring.
Do you cook? If so, what is your specialty? If not, is there something you always wanted to learn to make? Of course I cook, although rarely anything fancy. Just something that is warm, plenty and filling. I don't really have a specialty.
What do you like to do for fun that isn't playing mafia? Hanging out with my friends, playing games, sports.
Where would you like to travel to that you haven't been to yet? Brazil sounds cool.
What is something that you worry about? Other people's well-being.
What is something you do to relax? Sleeping
How do you spoil yourself? I don't
Do you have a favorite comfort food? Andijviestamppot. Or chocolate I guess.
What would a perfect day in your world be like? It would be perfect :p
Do you find me annoying, amusing or annoyingly amusing? The latter.

Thanks for having me, guys! :D
Roxy wrote: Have you played mafia before? If yes where?
Yes, sort of. I've played with people in real life, and I've played a few games of EpicMafia and Town of Salem. I've been meaning to try something more... consistent, I guess? Not sure how to word that.
How did you find us?
A friend of mine was telling me about some cool sites I should check out if I was interested in mafia. She's not on here, but she recommended you guys!
If you had to talk out of your right pinky toe or left knee which would you chose?
Tough choice. Probably my knee. I usually where shoes, so it'd be a little hard to hear me if I talked out of my toe, and I'm quiet enough as it is. :P
What is the last song you listened to?
The new Worlds theme song for League. Worlds Collide by Nicki Taylor.
Do you also agree Batman is greater than Superman?
I'm not too familiar with the comics, but I really like the idea of batman. Also, Robin is bae, so... (I love Teen Titans Go!).
Do you like our smileys?
Not gonna lie, they're pretty sweet. :nicenod:
thellama73 wrote:Who are you and what have you done with the real Kaeru?
Props for the sick rhymez. :P

But I am the real Kaeru, and I have stood up.

Nice to be here, thank!

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I might know them and they just have a different username than I'm used to or something, but I don't recognize the names I've seen.
