Doc, please show me that you have any interest in baddie hunting. Choutas may or may not answer your questions, but there are a bunch of other people in this game and in recent phases you've given us close to nothing.

Because I am wary of him after the potential "slip". I don't think it was a slip, but I won't and can't ignore it.

But let me also point this out. Epignosis said this 25 hours ago.
But we've had no such action from him. He's gone back and forth with you all day, but nothing that would be deemed as "hunting down Psycho Killer". Yes he's hosting another game that just begun and has been setting that up, but he's still made the time to continue the 'banter' with you (22 posts).Epignosis wrote:Given that Night will not be skipped regardless, now is a prudent time to hunt down Psycho Killer.

To be fair, I did hound him quite a bit, and as you pointed out, he started his game today which included sending out roles and answering my millions of questions.
However, I would be super happy if you'd like to join me in an Epig lynch!

Matt, what's your plan for when one of your scum-fixations flip town? Serious question.
Re: [DAY 9] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
Also, I have the strangest suspicion that the hosts have no intention of answering my recruit question.

Right now, I think my current fixations are Epig, 3J, Ricochet, and possibly Eloh (even though her role is civvie)motel room wrote:Matt, what's your plan for when one of your scum-fixations flip town? Serious question.
With second tier going to Motel Room (you) and Strawhenge
Besides yourself, which of these do you disagree with and why?

Nah. Our attention has been on mafia. We've lynched mafia two of the last three day phases, and one's been nightkilled. We should ride that hot streak, and keep pushing them.Matt F wrote:To be fair, I did hound him quite a bit, and as you pointed out, he started his game today which included sending out roles and answering my millions of questions.

Right but do you intend to wear it or not care?Matt F wrote:Linki - Move on to the next scum-fixation, of course!
I'm not certain how genuine you are about caring who gets lynched atm. Your choices havent really been the lynch outcomes for the last couple lynches and I think it might be revealing to see how you react when you get it wrong.
linki - @Matt, This is kind of what I mean, Elo is now in your top tier based on a dodgy theory. I don't have a strong read on her but wouldn't lynch her. JJJ and Epi I feel are town, Ricochet has had a lot of positive looking posts to the point where earlier in the game I think I had him and Fuzz as towniest but out of the tier he would be my pick for having fooled us. And then yeah, Strawhenge still hasn't said much since his declaration that metalmarsh was involved in the nightkill attempt which dovetailed nicely with Epi's psych-out calling metalmarsh SK so I'm not down with that. Also before that was Straw's "shock" of what happened with the seaside lynch but then (as far as I can see) hasn't weighed in on the results or who did what.
Re: [DAY 9] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
I absolutely care who gets lynched. As 3J can attest, I'm not liking this "Let's lynch Fuzz when he's gone" thing, however, I can see 3J's point to get baddies whenever you can.
As for the last few lynch phases, I'll kindly remind you on Day 7, I had my vote on scum Floyd, while you helped lynch civvie seaside.
If one of my fixations were to flip town, it would depend on which to see how I'd "wear it". If Epignosis were to get lynched and flip civvie, I prolly wouldn't feel bad considering he's been really weird with his answers to my questions.
If 3J were to flip civvie, I think I would feel bad, as he is the top poster in the game and whatever his alignment, has obviously put in a lot of work in this game.

Well except the part about Epi's answers to your questions. Reading through that part, you seemed like the anal one mate.

Nah, Epignosis has been weird with his answers towards me the last few days, demanding that my grammar and sentence structure be perfect or whatever when addressing him.
But anyway, time to walk the dog.

*yawn*
Read myself over and I think I'm getting a little too excited. Gonna step back today and see if rest of town can give us another successful lynch. I personally don't believe we should lynch a player who is unable to defend, but then again, I'm also the guy who wanted to boot the noob after like two days so it's not like I'm Mr Moral Mafia or anything.
Hopefully will come back with fresh eyes. I will keep an eye on the thread, though, in case anyone gets any big ideas about lynching me.
For now, before fresh eyes, I'm looking at...
Epig - His comparing a recruiter in the game to 15 different roles with the name Santa Claus seems dishonest. Non-answers because of my sentence structure seems dishonest. Wanting to lynch 3J hard on Day 7, then asking the thread to change his mind, then changing his mind himself and leads the train on seaside. Feels odd. But since he did go hard after Mac, and even though it came from thin air he did lead the lynch on Floyd, prolly not Mafia. But let's also not forget he discouraged the Long Con lynch. Anyway, switching my vote from him today because I don't think anyone's going that way.
3J - My gut says Mafia. I didn't even think so directly after Mac flipped, I felt maybe 3J was played. But with the move away from him on Day 7 to seaside, I was surprised at that. To be real, 3J did paint Mac town all game. 3J was one of the last people to vote LC on Day 2, right? He did discourage Mac's lynch on Day 6, he and motel room were (sorry about to say this but) LITERALLY cheer leading people to vote for Diiny instead. On the day espers was lynched, I had my vote on MacD but wanted to move it so my vote would count, I asked where I should move it to and 3J said "If you trust me, move it to espers." Not that I'm blaming 3J for espers, lots of people voted espers, hell I suspected espers earlier in the game, but it seems weird to me for him to claim "If you trust me do this" but it doesn't work out. I think he ended up helping getting Floyd lynched if I recall, but I'd need to check the polls to see where he voted. However, I have had the vibe of "annoyed civvie" coming from him lately, and I can understand after rereading my own self. Won't vote here today.
Motel Room - Defends Mac all game. Tries to dissuade his lynch Day 6. Part of the seaside train Day 7. Instrumental in one of Floyd's many slips, but doesn't pursue it. I dunno, though, his voting record with 3J is very strange, but I have to agree, 3J voted after him in all of those polls, so if anything, most likely buddying up from 3J. Not voting here today.
Strawhenge - Floyd's "rival". This should absolutely clear Strawhenge from any and all wrongdoing (unless he's SK), and yet just like motel room, when Straw sees this slip, pretty much completely ignores it (until later in the game). Also, I can't can't can't stop thinking about him referring to Mac as MR and 3J's "scum buddy". IF you call him their scum buddy, you think they are scum. Yet he refused to make a difference in the close poll between Mac and Diiny, despite thinking of Mac as someone's "scum buddy". Weird. But, for now, I'm going to take Floyd's slip as an actual slip and not an orchestrated one (tbh I've never even heard of an orchestrated slip...one reason I think I'm getting a little nutty), so won't vote here today.
Ricochet. Rico baby!
Forget his so called slip earlier. Forget it. Gone.
Focus on the facts
Long Con insisted that if Bea or Rico turn up bad, we look at the other. This doesn't sound like painting two civs bad. This sounds like LC was planting a lynch of bea in case Rico ever flipped. We know Bea was good. If Rico is good, and LC knew that, why say that about "looking at the other". What's the point? If Rico flips good, then there's no point at looking at bea. If bea flips, there's no point in looking at Rico. So why say it?
Black Rock, early on in her sub while catching up with the thread, links to Ricochet's "LC's interactions" post twice, says she loves it, how helpful it is.
MacD asked 3J to stop pursuing a case on Ricochet and instead look at (civvie) Sorsha and (civvie) Golden. MacD asked Choutas to make a case on Ricochet and stop asking the SK to kill him. MacD seemed to like Ricochet. Then again Ricochet had MacD down as a green skittle twice, so maybe it was just that.
Ricochet did not want to lynch Floyd. Just didn't want to do it.
And as much as he tells everyone that he had no choice but to create a tie on Day 0, he picked the option that had zero votes, and it was the only option with zero votes. Were we able to fix it easily? Yes, but that's not the point. I felt then that he was intentionally making it harder for us, as I "scolded" him for it, and now coupled with the above facts, I feel it again.
Earlier I said "forget it", but now...add "But MacD hasn't voted for any teammates this game." and honestly, I could be wrong, but...
Ricochet
Good luck, town! Again, be keeping my eye in case anyone tries any funny business trying to lynch me, but otherwise, I'm keepin' quiet rest of day.
Peace!

Matt, I'm sorry, but I'm just going to coffee emoji your entire wrap-up case on me. If you're that obstinate as to simply go back to your accusations over and over and over again, without any variation, despite me rebutting twice so far, then what am I supposed to say anymore? Waste your use of a lynch vote toDay away.
Looks like I can't change you. I try to talk to you, to make things clear, but you're not even listening to me.

Re: [DAY 9] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
It's interesting how his ingame behavour could be summarized as focusing on the lesser posters to scumhunt. First it was Bcornet and the guy could get modkilled tonight. He's using the same "reply to my question" to me the same way he did with Bcornet. Re: [DAY 9] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
Boy this is no day 1 or 2. We're at the second half of the game. I understand what you're saying and it's true especially for the first half of the game. It's against the spirit of the game. Still there is more than enough posts by him and we're already on the third week of the game. You can't just deny someone the lynch of RadicalFuzz. You can only express why you think hes a bad lynch compared to someone else. That's how I see it.Matt F wrote:I absolutely care who gets lynched.

Conceptually the idea of this crossover game is very cool. The quantity of content drives me crazy though. I can't keep up with it. I think i have17 pages to read.

Well, back from work, but German next (I just had to record myself for today, with a cold, having opinions on some dumb topic was basically my three-minute real life vocaroo moment).
Here I go again with these, but sadly, only had time for two people, down the alphabet. The rest later (fortunately, it will be far easier and shorter to redact the Floyd interactions, compared to the three-Mafia-way-interactions from D8)
bcornett24
Interactions with other mafiosos evaluation here
Interactions with Floyd
-- D4 has him neutral/unknown, without analysis or active following (no asterisk), in both rainbow lists
-- D7 questions Floyd why he's "sorry" about voting JJJ
-- D7 reads him bad in GTH
-- in reply to MM, says his bad GTH read on Floyd is stronger than on MM
-- "are you scum!" reaction to Floyd making a *sigh* remark to (ad libing here, but I assume his ongoing wagon?); rectifies the exclamation into a question mark
-- presses Floyd for thoughts on the game; just OT empathy, when Floyd talks about RL issues again
-- reads him bottom red in D7 rainbow list, votes him, preferring Floyd lynch over JJJ
-- comment about what Floyd's being going through, inserted in an analysis of Wilgy sussing Mac for some posts, in which Mac also happens to comment about what Floyd's being going through
Floyd interactions with b24
-- D1 OT comment on RYM doing RVS a lot (or just banter comment on RYM being random in general), in reply to me sussing b24's RVS vote (and JJJ chiming in on the subject as well)
-- no other interaction with b24, except for replies to the things already brought up in b24's section
Read
Nothing on Floyd except a neutral read, until D7 when he gets really "verbose" in mentioning or interacting with Floyd. If Floyd's D7 JJJ vote was done knowing it's a move to dig a civ's grave, b24 might be distancing here from Floyd's "sorry" remark; as he might, later, be distancing from Floyd's "sigh" remark to his growing wagon. The final neutral remark about excusing Floyd's game for Floyd's RL is kinda dissonant with his baddie read on him throughout the rest of the Day. Intermediary vote for Floyd, but jumped on sea bangwagon. Ew.
This doesn't improve my read on him in any way. In fact, that D7 vote switch makes me feel even worse.

Interactions with other mafiosos evaluation here
Interactions with Floyd
-- D4 awed OT comment to Floyd telling him to "stop making sense"
-- N4 banter comment to Floyd calling JJJ 3J
-- D7 votes Floyd over JJJ, also found Floyd's rebuttal to Matt "lacking"
-- D7 votes Russti, but "wouldn't mind seeing a Floyd lynch" (sorry for this divagation, but yo Matteo, have you scanned this "wouldn't mind" comment the same way you did mine )
Floyd interactions with Bullzeye
-- D4 stop making sense comment
-- D4 sarc comment about Devin being bad, when Bull suspected Devin of pulling the same Recruitement tricks
-- D4 agrees with Bullzeye that nobody is safe in mafia
-- N4 reiterates agreeing with a statement by Bullzeye that no one is safe in mafia
Read
Yet again, shallow stuff, until D7 awareness of Floyd being an issue. Don't know if that's the norm of D7 for many (and we should, thus, instead, look for teammates who kept even more mum) or if it's a warning sign. Consequently, don't know if it speaks bad of Bullzeye or just looks bad for him. Floyd's posts, on the other hand, make my eye twitch a bit. Sarc comment about Devin could simply be individual awareness, as a mafia member, that Devin was of course no mafia. Don't know what to make of the other buddying-ish remarks. Voted Floyd on D7, never came back to it (voted Russ) on D8. Ew. Actually, just like the rest of the stuff, can't tell if just ew or baddie ping.
I'd like Question-Man Matt to tell me why my "would lynch Floyd, but never did" looks worse than, for instance, Bullzeye's.
Bullzeye's "tricky" status remains at tricky.

is that a NO U?
Also, my question relating to the highlighted was ignored, I asked previous, what makes you think this?
The reason why it stroke me as scummy is because you were off the lynch list. What a better time for a baddie to try to hunt out roles than when they are not able to be lynched for what they do? also there's a strike 2 in the fact that you say people that responded to this seem to be less scummy seems even dirtier. It's as if you were wanting to draw out more answers by putting out some form of reward. Strike three was stating "it was bait" as fast as you did. What was the point of this if you reveal that it was bait so soon? it kills the exercise if it was genuine, and hurts the potential for more information gain. You said that you see players that responded as less scummy, but I don't believe you gave players time to respond if that was your goal. LC did the same thing with the false bea case. What is the point, if you aren't going to maximize information gain? I mean, you didn't even need to defend your actions at that point, you were off the vote list. What was the point?

It's not necessarily confirmation. If recruits exist, their status will be revealed. That's what he's saying. Then again I don't understand where the sudden recruitment paranoia has come from, I still need to catch up.Matt F wrote:Swear, last time, just wanted to repost...

Rico, what do you think of this:
JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Matt's trust in bcornett actually makes me think of something. This might have already been covered a time or five so sorry if it's old news but:
Brian was the counterwagon to LC on Day 2. LC voted for him in an 8-6 tally, meaning the real tally was 8-8 (barring other vote manipulation). LC can't bus his team mate in Brian in this scenario, because players would still be able to identify that the Flowers role was involved in getting him lynched.
Does this not clear bcornett, or come pretty close to that?

I work basically until the deadline tonight so I doubt I'll be back in time to change my vote. Only thing I have read is the Rico most recent case of me. Re: [DAY 9] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
I think I have the gist of the suspicions against me. My interactions with all of the dead scum are atrocious. My multiple soft defenses of Mac, in addition to my literal call for a Chinese Fire Drill off of him, look bad. I understood that when I made those posts. What I don't understand is how those actions are somehow made scummier when I leave town.
I CTRL+F'd my name and quickly skimmed so if I missed something I apologize. Repeat the question and I'll answer it.
Metalmarsh you're going to look very bad soon and you know why. You are either the worst kind of civilian, who throws logical thought out the window, or scum.
Matt - Wilgy knows the infodumping rules on this site. I find it much more likely that he didn't have any "plan" to begin with and just went "gosh darn that didn't work" after asking a basic infodumping question.
J3, your quote here that says "civilian Matt is cool with extending the lifespan of potential bad guys for absolutely no reason relevant to thread content [rolls eyes-smiley]" is an interesting one. You've looked at my reasons for not voting Floyd multiple times but never expressed annoyance at those. Why does Matt taking the same action (illogical reason for not voting someone) bug you? And if you have questions you want to answer please list them, I didn't start this response until after I had read your ISOs.
