Didn't announce that the Withderdeath was responsible this time, though.

I didn't have a good feeling about Typhoony either. I'm not sad to see him go from a game perspective (although always sad to see Typh go from a fun perspective).

Had a sudden thought as I was brushing my teeth for bed: initially I assumed the Tarnished Golem placed the kill, since the requirements of killing make it obvious pretty quickly who the Golem's protectee is, so maybe it would be hidden to add a little mystery. But then I remembered Matt F's "map reasons" post just above and realized that if anyone has some kind of redirecting/controlling role, and happened to have knowledge of who was capable of nk'ing Wilgy, they could get that person to self-target. The Puppet Master, for instance. Unless that kind of action would still be reported as "killed by Witherdeath" here?

I've been Puppet Mastered earlier in the game. I think the kill would show up as having been targetted by Witherdeath.

I think it is fairly obvious that he had an object? Maybe that crystal thing reflected the kill back, which would mean Typh was bad?

In any case, bye Typh :) ripiywg and all that.

And yeah, re the last lynch. I know when I voted Mac had only one or two votes, two or others had three I think (one was Luke, don't recall the other, maybe Timmer?), Juliets may have had more. I was surprised when more people piled on him like that. I was also surprised by Golden switching votes midstream, doing basically what he is suspecting Juliets for.

I still think it's possible that Timmer killed Epi with the Dagger. Especially after spouting all of that stuff about items not being what they appear to be. I can't say what his thought process was regarding the kill, but he almost seemed apologetic about it  To answer your first question, I don't think anyone was being framed there. At least, I didn't feel framed.

What happened to timmer? Golden seemed to drop the case more out of the passion that timmer insisted he had no items more than anything, so are you doing the same? E.g. you were convinced by him?

I believe Typhoony was responsible for the message in the thread to Yin and Yang early in the game, which I think might have been a trap.

I didn't feel so confident that I would push for his lynch, and even if he was bad I knew he would be hunting for the other baddie team and indys, and I respect his hunting skills, so it was still worth thinking about what he was saying.

Yesterday you said I suspected juliets for waffly posts. Today you say I suspect juliets for changing votes midstream. Neither of these is a reason I have ever given for suspecting juliets.

I suspect her because I feel like her posting style is 'different' and 'off' this game, perhaps more vague than usual. I can't put my finger on exactly what the difference is, it just feels different.

I'm not in a hurry just to rush in to a third day in a row of failing to lynch juliets, though. I think we should be thinking more widely. I'm going to put a vote on Wilgy for now. I think its possible the cabal knew the night wasn't going to count and that they could kill one of their own to give Wilgy cred, knowing it wouldn't matter.

:haha:

Let me get this straight. You don't like that I heavily pushed the lynch of juliets (who I, and most sane people believe is scum) and are blaming me for others voting me? Like I had any choice in the matter?

Wtf Mac - someone gets an official scum read for you because they say 'they don't like what you did yesterday'.

Stop playing you had no control over the votes yesterday... you ASKED for them. That is not having no control over them. That's the exact opposite. You have gone out of your way for days upon days asking for votes and finally you got some. Why should anyone like what you did yesterday.

You earn an official scum read from me - for turning someone saying 'they don't like what you did today' into 'You don't like that I heavily pushed the lynch of juliets'. Because I can't think of a more disingenuous interpretation of what part of your behaviour yesterday felt anti-town that that, and you know it.

My apologies if I wasn't thorough enough in my explanation. The fellow players in this game are not my children Golden. They have control over their own actions. I do not decide their behaviour. Me requesting votes does not force their hand. I did not self vote. I am not responsible for there being no lynch those that voted for me are. Do you believe me to be some kind of wizard Golden?

I genuinely feel like sorsha's last two posts are scummy. One strong scum read but being okay with or not standing in the way of two other lynches, that to me is scummy. Not having a significant desire or communicating one yet being okay with the lynch of players who are heavily under scrutiny is the hallmark of a scum vote about to be placed on a wagon for no reason. I have seen that kind of comment from scum too many times to count. I have seen it from town, but often enough from scum for it to be a documented scum tell for me.

No, I do not "know it" as you so delicately put. Yesterday I without question, as I did the day before, heavily pushed the lynch of juliets. It was the vast majority of what I did. Towards the end of the day votes started piling onto me, I decided that it would be a good day to harvest some votes so I didn't push back. I didn't force people to do it. They started unprovoked yesterday. Granted I had gone out of my way to request them in previous days. I have my reasons for requesting votes, they are no longer necessary. I won't be requesting votes anymore because they are now counterproductive to town. Previously they were not. That is all I will say on the matter.

I'm just really baffeled as to what happened yesterday. You think Juliets is bad so you want her to get lynched. Then you go on your "vote for me" crusade. Explain to me how this makes sense?

I will repeat myself for the benefit of the scum player who is trying to drive her agenda without actually making an effort to read the explanation I already just gave.

The lion's share of my content up until end of day was pushing the juliets lynch, as it has been each day. I believe I have made it clear without explicitly using words to such effect why I believe her to be scum. I began to receive votes that put my close enough to juliets for me to understand that her lynch was not to be. Well before our vote tally's were six a piece. I already knew she was not going to be lynched.

Me receiving votes was a positive thing for the civ win con but the positive impact of votes on me has now been exhausted and are no longer useful to the civ win con. I cannot diverge exactly why/how they were positive, but I expect there are a few players who know why.

When it became obvious to me that juliets was not going to be lynched. I went back to vote harvesting. Simples.

But, alas, that is no longer the case. Ergo I will no longer be requesting.

I don't know what you are, but I would not be surprised if you were a wizard.

Your suspicion on Sorsha could be genuine (and your last post (linki, second to last post) makes it sound genuine) but your first post about it sounded really forced to me. If you really think its the juliet half of your behaviour that is taking suspicion, then I think you have a skewed perspective of the impact of your days of asking people to vote for you on yesterdays lynch. You can't ask people to vote for you and then absolve any responsibility for their choice.

Perhaps it sounded forced because you didn't notice that my previous post eyeing her for bloodlust was actually not a joke, ergo my post was not so much forced, as a sharp reaction to a double up scum tell. I do realise that for me to now change my gamestyle is going to be hard to take, but it is what it is. My entire gamestyle up until today was revolving around doing my best to harvest votes but at the same time scum hunt.

Both times she posted the "I'd be okay with this other random lynch" type post it pinged me. The second time it was about me, so it obviously had a bit of an OMGUS effect on me, which probably made my reaction even more acute.

Juliets would have been lynched yesterday if you hadn't done what you did, plain and simple.

Linki- I find Juliets and Floyd at the top of my suspicion list. I'd be fine with either of them going, I really have no preference for which goes first. The timmer suspicion I think has some merit to it as well but I feel better about the other two. Maybe I'm just not being clear enough about my suspicions or why I suspect them but I'm not just jumping on any bandwagon that comes along here.

No, she would not have. I already explained this. As soon as I had two votes on me her lynch was off the table.

@Mac - are you making an assumption about juliets' role in that statement or not?

Were you poisoned? (I don't know if you can even answer that or not)
