Thomas the Tank Engine [Night 9]

Thomas the Tank Engine Mafia

The Sodor Steamworks

Image

Thomas – He’s a really useful engine!
Being really useful, Thomas is always helpful and convincing. His vote each Day is worth three.

Image

Percy – Junior engine who is learning the ropes and pulls the mail cars.
Percy has the opportunity to take on a new steamy ability each Night, but can use the ability only once!

Image

Gordon –The proud engine who pulls the Express.
On two occasions, Gordon can pull another engine with him along the Express line, protecting himself and his target from all Night actions.

Image

James – Vain and egotistical, he likes to tell others what they can and cannot do.
James may role block anyone at Night.

Image

Henry – An old accident-prone engine who is unwell at times.
On one occasion, Henry may switch the decommission vote to any player of his choice.

Image

Edward – A grand old back engine who even gets along with the Troublesome Trucks!
Targets anyone each Night, helping them pull their load and giving that player twice their ability the next Night.

Image

Toby – The old trolley engine. “Well let’s say he’s square!”
Tracks anyone at Night, finding out who that person targeted.

Image

Emily – The newest member of the Sodor Steamworks just wants to be included!
*Secret*

Narrow Gauge Engines
These smaller engines will search for one another each Night. If they find one of their own, they earn permanent BTSC.

Duncan

Dirty Diesels
Have BTSC and scrap a player each night. The scrapping can not be blocked!

Image

‘Arry – Biff!
Biffs someone each Night, making their talk silly!

Image

Bert – Bash!
Bashes someone each Night, blocking that individual!

Image

Mavis - A feisty diesel engine, Mavis doesn't take kindly to advice.
Mavis has spent quite a bit of time with the Steamies, and she knows how to do their jobs very well. Like Percy, she can use one Steamy ability, but only once!

Image
Diesel 10 – All of the other engines are afraid of Diesel 10, and Diesel 10’s claw, “Pinchy!”
He uses Pinchy to prevent someone from voting the next Day.

The Fat Controller

Image

Sir Topham Hatt

Cannot be lynched or Night killed. Each Night, he may direct the target of one of the engines as he sees fit, or he may decide who runs the special, taking that engine’s name off the poll the next Day. He loses his position if there is too much confusion and delay (that is to say, all eight main steam engines are lost).

Day 0

The Island of Sodor is surrounded by beautiful blue seas. It has fields of green and sandy yellow beaches. There are rivers, streams, and lots of trees where the birds sing. There are windmills and a coal mine, and docks where visitors to the island arrive. The island also has lots and lots of railways. Who’s that puffing down the track. It’s Thomas! Hello Thomas! “Hello everybody. Welcome to the Island of Sodor!”

All of the engines on the Island of Sodor enjoy showing travelers around the island. They visit the windmill, the seaside, and the Sodor Suspension Bridge. Today, Sir Topham Hatt has called a meeting at the paint factory for all the engines.

“With many visitors scheduled to visit the island this summer, we must have the sights in tip-top condition. Each attraction must be given a shiny new coat of paint. Diesels and steamies must work together to deliver all the paint around the island.”

“Stinky steamies,” mumbled ‘Arry.

“I do not want to work with them,” grumbled Bert.

This made Thomas and Percy cross. They didn’t want to work with the diesels either. The diesels were oily and they seemed very different to the steamies. Soon all the engines were arguing.

What happened next came as a surprise to everyone. One of the engines bumped a shelf that was holding some paint. It came crashing down. Blue, red, green, brown, and black paint flew everywhere! The diesels, the steamies, the narrow gauge engines, and Sir Topham Hatt were all splattered with paint. It was a terrible mess.

“You have all caused confusion and delay,” scolded Sir Topham Hatt.

Sir Topham Hatt was right. With all the splattered paint, the steamies, the narrow gauge engines, and the diesels were unable to recognize who was who.

What color were you splattered with?

Alright, but seriously... Hello to everyone! I am the aforementioned Mr. Sock. If you have absolutely any concerns, questions, need any help, have any conflict, whatever, that's what I'm here for! I am so glad to see those I know and those that I don't, those who have played mafia and those who are new to our community; we have a seemingly pretty awesome player lineup here.

I will be a bit absent through the 30th, just a warning, but after that I should be around very regularly. Regardless, I will try to be around as often as possible so that I am here if anyone needs me. Happy Mafiaing!

I agree~ the "First Post" is the first post by a player.

Even when he isn't playing, MP is a baddie~ :feb:

And i was thinking Sir Hat is an Indy, they are usually listed at the end, but perhaps the host will clarify for us :)

Sir Topham Hatt is a civilian friendly Independent. He wins with them, and loses if the first eight roles are out.

Yay game! Hi everyone, and welcome to all the players I haven't met before (I count 8 or 9 of you). It'll be fun to have you along!

I think I'll choose Brown. It's not very glamorous, but someone ought to pick it.

I was thinking it's about time for me to get an avatar as well. Anyone have a suggestion, or an idea about what a Russtifinko is? I'm considering a lizard with dreadlocks, but that's technically a "Rasta Skink-o".

I am not all that familiar with this show, only having watched it with Andrew & his brothers at their house a few times, so I did some research and found that there is a Thomas Wiki :)

It has helped me learn more about the characters of these roles, since to the uninitiated, many of them have a similar look, and now having read descriptions of some of them, they are starting to take on individual characteristics for me.
