I didn't make it obvious at the time, but I did intentionally make the post a crumb. But in the context of me making a big deal out of there being a crumb I thought it would be quite easy to find but then as you pointed out I happened to make all those I'm Batman posts which kind of makes it less obvious.

I think Golden will figure it out. He's a clever boy. He probably already has.
Well, I haven't isoed you yet. I'll probably try when I get time.
Only do it if you think I am mafia dude. If you are civ reading me your time is better spent elsewhere. Finding it has already been proven rather difficult. I know that's going to come across pingy to some but when I was first pointing at my role I thought it would be easier than it turned out to be to find and if you are already civ reading me you have no reason to look for it. You seem time poor here and I'd rather you spend your time finding mafia.
Yeah, I don't think I'll do it again unless I feel I have need to. My first look was pretty brief.

I'm still feeling that El Presidente is mafia and the final member of that team. He and Zebra were two of the only players who didn't vote for Nero, and both voted early so the fact they didn't bus him could simply be because they were trying to dictate the lynch. This kind of gambit is totally up MPs alley as well. The amount of bullshit he spins as mafia is incredible.

He wants to be lynched, claims it'll be pretty good for the town and there is still doubt there that he might be mafia anyway. Either he's telling the truth and his lynch is good or he's lying and his lynch is great. Win fucking win. Can we agree to lynch him then move on with analysis?

I don't really get it. Maybe my comprehension skills are lacking. Not saying it's bad, but I legit didn't understand what he was getting at?

I'm seeing a lot of people just replying to wallpost cases in this game with things like "I like it"... or "this makes a lot of sense"... It's annoying me. :haha:

Though I have to say, this has been a very high quality game so far. Very impressive levels of analysis going on here. Lurkers notwithstanding.

You think it was zebra, but you got Shakespeare the next day. So you think someone can be cursed after the death of the riddler.

Isn't is possible it was sig, and the same has happened to TH? Couldn't you both be right, in your own way?
Golden, Zebra was NK'd and typically (as far as I can recall), night actions of NK'd players the same night still go through.

But that's besides the point, as I believe Zebra only targeted me once, on Night 1. ;)
I think it's probable that it was sig, and TH is not cured because he was only targetted last night and has to live with a day of it.

Either that, or you're wrong.

My most likely votes coming out of catching up are glorfindel, DFaraday, SVS in that order.

I'm not opposed to an MP lynch, though. When I tell people to lynch me it is usually for good reason. But that doesn't necessarily mean the good reason is entirely town-aligned (eg, in Star Wars, I wanted to out ninja and russti as my indy teamies so that we could win).

He is my top pick for a lynch for exactly this reason. I won't vote so early in the day though because who knows what might happen tomorrow.

It could explain the coincidence of why all the lurkers last posts fell during the day phases and not night phases. But targeting you is a big change up of targets from lurkers.

Can you post the riddle or is it against the rules?

And I liked Scotty's post about DFaraday. I look forward to his response.

@Golden, what stuff,exactly?
Fortunately we don't need your vote because there's more than enough people who'd happily lynch him. So feel free to throw your vote away.
The irony.
You self voted.
Like I said, I have my reasons.

It's also apparent to me that many people would never stop suspecting me, and I thought my death was inevitable due to poison, so I've come to terms with my lynching quite a while ago.
Thought you said you were cured?

I have to say it. Your opinion changed on this subject MIGHTY fast.

When you were the subject of analysis, you complained and said that people were pretending to pay attention and throwing votes you on you to feign any sort of participation.
Analysis is elsewhere, and now it's a high quality game.

Lulz I just realized I didn't even know until I didn't get the riddle correct, my bad.

However, earlier today, you said that the Riddler did not target you, and now you are saying he did? That's quite a flip. Why would you say the Riddler didn't target you then?

I can see a slight chance of sig being Riddler, but that still wouldn't explain why you're talking funny and I'm not. Again, I quite expected to come into this thread today quoting song lyrics or some such but nah, I decided normal was the way to go, so what gives?

Considering I was posting funny two days in a row, and was still expected to answer the Riddle, and now suddenly I'm good to go today, then yeah, the logical conclusion is that he's dead and I've been released. Which is why it doesn't make sense you're posting funny if you are riddled as you claim.

Not me, but maybe Lorab would. When it happened to me, I was playing in her game, Muppets on TP.

This is a little bit mild for me, but it's cute.

Linki~ me neither, but Swedish Chef was an icon, lol.

Analysis is elsewhere, and now it's a high quality game.
Would you mind quoting the posts I made while I was being analysed that gave you the impression my opinion of the game was anything but high quality?

Was this a coincidence or was this a Two Face hint/claim? Not a bad one, considering you're sussed of being Mafia and claiming Two-Face would make you half civ.

I think you and Bullz have a nice theory on Riddler, but for some reason I can't explain, I think you may be wrong and on top of that, I think Riddler may have been iced by either Harvey Bullock or the Falcone family. Derp a derp.

Anyway, I do think you're bad Mac, but it is hard to pinpoint who your teammate(s) might be. And when Turnip takes nothing but your word over his awesome case, that is curious. If it wasn't you in the situation, I think you would find it curious as well.

Linki - :meany:
Turnip Head backed off of him Before the Black Rock lynch, so if he saw the crumb, he saw it before he started pushing Black Rock specifically over Mac. When I asked him to link me to his cases, he only linked me to the one on Black Rock. When I went and found the Mac case, and voted for him, and Dom not long after me, TH came right out and said, let's lynch Black Rock and talk about Mac tomorrow.

TH was trying to save Mac before the lynch even was set.
Do you think that makes the situation look better or worse for Mac/TH? I think you may be right that he was trying to save Mac, but not that he saw any breadcrumb.

Btw Turnip, Glorfindel obviously claimed Two-Face so I guess we should just take him at his word and stop sussing him now, right? :evileye:
FWIW - and I know it's not worth much to you matt -

I think reading along - that TH saw that he could be wrong about Mac and wanted more time- I started to see the errors as mac posted them during my catch up too. I can't say anything pro/con toward the breadcrumb cuz tbh, I'm here in my catch up and I just haven't gotten that far yet.

IDK if I believe that glorf was claiming two-face. Is it possible that you're just reading too deeply into a coincidence in phrasing?

Riddler didn't do this to you now?

Okay, please speculate on who did this to you then.

Can't be Joker, unless you targeted dead Black Rock last night.

Can't be Penguin, unless he invisibly voted for you yesterday.

What you got?
Someone definitely did do this to TH. The reason I think that is that I haven't seen that particular insanifier in action since the Muppets game on TP like 3 years ago. Also I'm pretty sure I reminded LC (or Epi) of its existence at some point during AWR or Recruitment. We definitely spoke about it, can't quite remember the whole context. So I think if TH were going to make up a curse he wouldn't use one that had become fairly obscure because that'd be crazy. Whoever did this to him, he's legit IMO.

Convenient linki.

okay look im not all the way through yet, but this is where i am. I've been reading the same questions that i literally FREAKIN SAID EARLIER. I personally think riddler is still alive, and that zebra was almost certainly a visiting role, just which one is unknown.

The only other theory i had with the insanity that didnt involve riddler is that the joker's secret is to pass down his flower to someone, but who knows right?

Matt wrote:Bullz, I actually think Riddler might've been Zebra.

I was under the impression sig was Bullock based on Zeebs getting hit like that, some players assumed sig to be Montoya, and the Night post hints at sig being a cop of some sort, so I seriously doubt sig was Riddler.

This brings up the question, though...

If Riddler is dead (and I very much believe him to be), and the Joker was lynched yesterday...

What's up with Turnip's "curse" ?
Wait? wot?

Why do you think zeebs was the Riddler? I missed where you explained that bit...
Same thing with people assuming sig was Montoya. I don't remember that being said by anyone?
Who thinks sig was Riddler?

Also - IDK - what's up with Turnip's curse. Are there any roles left that have *secrets* by them?
Also - are you saying that what happened to TH is different from either the knock knock jokes or the Shakespeare that you had? If so - can you say how? Cuz I kinda assumed whoever hit you with the knock knocks was making TH be all sweedish.

I've actually been thinking about that a lot and not only who but their possible motives... And no clue yet... I'm actually at work right now which will severely hamper my capacity to post for the next few hours... Sorry!
I'm curious as to whether or not you saw anything from the last phase as a result of being silenced. I'm sorry if someone else already asked you and I've not gotten there yet. It's just sometimes silencing can be a good thing. It's a different experience to read along as things happen but not have to talk. I was curious as to whether or not you saw something the rest of us might have missed.
Hey, bea :) I'm very pleased to make your acquaintance :bighug: That's a good point, but no. To be honest, I was more relieved than anything when I found out I was silenced. Do we know who is silenced today? Is everyone accounted for so far?

As far as my suspicions right now, I don't have a lot. The whole Sig situation has shaken my confidence to the core. Typhoony seems rather strange to me this game for reasons I can't quite put my finger on but looking back to Pikmin Mafia, he was Captain Charlie and his identity was revealed only to me. The funny thing was, even though he was Town, had I not know he was, I think I could've been forgiven to think he wasn't. MP is kinda interesting - I was Mafia with him in Star Wars and as a consequence, I have the greatest admiration and respect for his ability. From conversations I've had with him, I honestly can't seem him as one of those 'Self-lynching' types - I think he's too proud for that despite what pressure he may feel from his real life circumstances. We've got a long way to go this Day phase but I have to say I can't see myself voting for him at this stage...
So do you suspect Typh? You say you "could've been forgiven" in thinking Typh was bad when he was good in Pikmin. I'm not even sure how that correlates to this game. Are you saying without the handicap, you would have read him wrong, and now you are nervous you are reading him wrong this game? I feel like your intrigue of him is circular and non-committal.
And MP is "interesting". I agree, he's an interesting sock, indeed. But you say you probably won't vote him, because he's too proud to self-lynch.

So you were away for a day and have no suspicions whatsoever?

You are interesting, Glorfindel.
You scotty. I like what you say sir.

Sarcastic retorts are a traditional scum tell on every Mafia forum I've ever played on. "Backtracking can be" was a comment that revealed Bullzeye was just trying to paint me bad by any means necessary. If he had have said "what's with the overuse of the word thumbtack?" and I said "discussing household fastening objects isn't alignment indicative" he'd have said "oh but repeatedly using the word thumbtack can be *stinkeye*".

I've got plenty of you attacking me already so it's cool of you to pick the player with the most people attacking him for your next attempt to pretend to involve yourself in the game. Your credibility in this game is so shot to bits that you're probably doing me a favour by attacking me tbh.

Unless you're going to bring legitimate alignment indicative cases against me I'm not going to bother replying. What are you trying to do here aside from rile me up? You just trying to get me goat? Give me the collywobbles? Certainly no case making or attempts to solve the game in here.
