Wow there's like 7 players with one vote a piece and Epi two votes.

Spread much?

On that note, I'll be spreading it further with either Rico or 3J.

Really didn't like him capitalizing PLAN like that. Hrm.

K, I'm gonna bite the bullet and

Vote Ricochet

I'm honestly not sure what 3J could say to make me feel better about the PLAN thing, and at this point, I think I might just be looking into things a little too much.

I will post in doses reads I find relevant, as I recap players' activity along.

Zebra has my attention after toDay. Two players call her out and it garners two different responses from her: dismissive banter towards ika and defensiveness towards JJJ. Unlike JJJ, I believe (and have witnessed, too) zebra taking offense at suss's or stuff she may find to be harsh or farfetched could go either way. It could certainly be a scumzebra being rattled.

I must also notice the irony of zebra having a conversation with ika that was deeply related to ika suss'ing zebra, yet when ika asked for reads, zebra said nah and actually got away with it. I am most piqued, however, by the fact that at the second time of being asked, this time coming from sig, mere 30 minutes apart, she suddenly had three top civ reads to offer. What could be made of this sudden adaptation to public inquiry?

Lastly Zebra basing votes on sheer meta is something I don't recall so much of her, up until these the two new games that started (this one and Barry Lynchdon). Her take on BR apparently has some basis (JJJ brought up THM, one could even say Syndicate Mafia), but it's still a wild route. I think that for all this, zebra merits further scrutiny. Leaning... a bit scum actually.

My reason is I'm currently in 3 games and this game is already longer than a Dostoevsky novel.

From what I've read on this last page (the only one I've read since I last posted), I should point out that BR has low posted as a civ before. I'm not sure where Zebra is getting that idea.

I'm gonna disagree with Zebra somewhat because I noticed Black Rock lurked as town quite a bit in Turf Wars. I also remember in the Mafia Scrimmage game, that Zebra was defending lurkers as civ so it seems odd to go after a person here for lurking.

DrumBeats - First time playing with him. Contributed along the way, to challenges and discussion of all sorts and right now seems to have formed a periodic manner of assessing new events. The meta claims, at ika's inquiry, are a bit abstract and unapplicable in current context (fakeclaims, gambits).

On a personal level, I like him joining me into finding unreasoned reads disagreeable, alas he afterwards departs into suss'ing me, with certain use of words that almost mirror Silverwolf's and ika's line of inquiry/suss'ing ("discrediting", "defensiveness", "providing nothing"). Makes me nose twitch a bit.

Then again, most of his principles in profile people seem old-fashioned and of a particular mindset: contribution or lack thereof, vote reasoning or lack therefore, vibe received of player's studying the game up close or not, etc. I don't agree with all his reads, but I have no beef with it at the moment either. Leaning town.

I was told once that pretty posts with lots of smileys and no typos were my big baddie tell. I cared about what I said more whne I was bad so I proofread it and dressed it up more.
ha, how clever of you to slip in a typo all natural-like.

Matt wrote:For those of you who haven't seen the show...

Every episode starts with the intro, and during the intro there are title cards that read...

"The cylons were created by man. They evolved. They rebelled. There are many copies. And they have a plan."

After the series ended, the creators came out with a movie called "Battlestar Galactica: The Plan" which was an interquel of sorts to the show, showing us the POV of the Cylons during the first few seasons.

For some reason, 3J capitalizing PLAN makes me feel uneasy. I can totes see Golden giving the baddies a challenge "one of you must capitalize the word PLAN in one of your posts on Day one" or some such.

*sigh* Rereading this, it does look like Matt talk. :sigh:

What does everyone else think?

I could buy this. I await Jay's response.

Current thoughts: I find ika incredibly annoying but I don't think he's bad. I don't really see the Rico suspicion, but idk how to read him in general. He seems fine to me  Epi, on the other hand, I agree with the assessments that he is much quieter than usual and that's somewhat suspicious in my book.

Zebra, you seem to have ignored or missed the fact that BR made one post checking in and said she had been too busy to catch up so far. Seems legit, and she does have a history of being pretty quiet early on as a civ iirc. Your vote for her was pretty odd imo.

I'm also puzzled by OA's vote for polo. Where did that come from?

Not sure what I think of sig and the silly smiley speculation saga; he seems normal otherwise. Matt seems like his usual self and I'm inclined to trust him; same with LC. Other than that I don't have many strong opinions.

Nutella, design-wise I would challenge the notion of a baddie receiving a challenge to use a catchphrase or stereotype that could link him with his faction, but then Matt would probably keep voting me for shooting down his ideas. :why:

Epignosis is becoming a lynch subject and I can't say his posts are defensible. He cut short his D0 activity and his return was apparently in low mood. Of substance was only a top/bottom 3, posted (at JJJ's request?) without reasoning. The sequence of banter with MM, especially around MM's wild vote on him, seems casual dismissal. Anyway, as non-contributors go, his name is pretty relevant. I'm not entirely sure what read to extract out of this, the only instance I remember of him intentionally wanting to pedal less in a mafia game was THM (civilian) and even then he got in slight trouble for it.

Smaller comments before the big moment. Glorfindel is almost all fluff so far, does anyone have past impressions of him in early stages? Not sure why he picked only Zebra, of all, to have a good impression on, I think it was at a point when Zebra hadn't developed much relevant posting, either.

G-Man in a bigger picture didn't warm me too much with his isolated, throwback-memetic Day 0 joker post, although I don't notice him picking a new memetic theme for this game, so far. In between this and his notes, I'd say the rest is fluff. As for the notes, I've already said my share, I find them a mixture, I find them truthful with him saying they're partial and labeling them as "notes".

Humm...

Null meaning nothing or zero... Means that they are inferring that they are Not Scum? LOLOL That is most fascinating to me. This banter that continues to go on and on to distract people away from the topic at hand seems awfully suspicious to me. Lots of good arguments and stuff mixed in with what appears to be a bunch of cross comms chatter... Very nicely done. Please continue, as confusing as this seems it is entertaining and enlightening.

Looks like the popular vote is leaning very slowly towards Epignosis. Why would Silverwolf and Metalmarsh be so certain?

Glorfindel also failed to say So Say We All, along with Vompatti.

S~V~S, Metalmarsh89, SokothQultuq, Nutella and Drumbeats also failed to begin their first post with So Say We All.

Welcome to Vompatti Mafia. XD

(I'm not defending him. I have no clue about him and probably never will.)
we played a heist game with him. i think he will be fairly readable as time goes on
lmao

would pay real gold to see Vompatti deciphered

Vomps kinda gave his role publicly in EST Mafia but he's damn weird I couldn't take him for granted and actually thought he was mafia.
