Congrats to the winners, I guess. This was a pretty lame loss for me and it just happened to tarnish my wingrab pristine record. Barry was precisely the role I didn't desire much to be, because of the narrow window in which he was required to ascend (with two obstacles in his way, as well: hitting the immune captain or falling in ranks if Boy Lyndon dies). Nevertheless I was fully invested in this theme, as far as my roleplay can perhaps be the proof of that, and had my hopes.

I let Mother sig to the faith of a three-way tie, instead of trying to make an obvious save move, and then lost him. Sorry.

Then I got bounced for *insert reasons*.

In retrospect, I see that I had Long Con rightfully in the bottom area and I was starting to suspect MP for lurking his ass off. Plus, I targeted a Captain. So that's three out of four. Blergh.

Night 1, I planned to simply revenge sig's death by targetting either LC or Zebra. I fraking hit the immune Captain! On the plus side, I'm glad my vigi skills have technically not weakened one bit since Donner. But yeah, fail.

Oof. Sorry Wilgy, I'll take the blame for that last day. I started to turn it around in the night phase against LC but I see it was a waste of time. Dunno why we had to sit through that night phase of a kill would have ended the game but whatever.

I think it depended on who we killed and who's vote we stole, based on who DF had targeted on previous days.

I did; mainly becasue no matter how capable of evil you can be, when I visualize your team and your chatroom, I visualize them concocting evil plots, and I visualize you doing acrobatics and magic tricks to amuse them, lol. Some people are easy to visualize as evil plotters (your teammates, me) and some are not. This is a good thing, not a bad one

This is true.

I'm not much of a plotter. I support the idea, especially if it can be crafted to work. And there are certainly games and roles out there that can cater to a good gambit. In the case of Downton, I think the killing of a teammate was our best option, which was both dependent on the state of the game and a huge gambit.

But usually, I prefer playing reactionary to the game rather than trying to manipulate the game myself. I still suck at defending teammates in-thread (see Dune Mafia), but I'm getting better at not automatically bussing them at least.

Classic feature of BOTH games: no nightkill on Night 2!

Planned in the first game, accidental in the second... and yet it worked SO MUCH BETTER in the second! If only we could have nightkilled me as well. And since it was a sequel, we had to have another character, so zebra came in as the fourth Musketeer.

Yeah, those are just more cases of me doing what I think is right (or what I feel like) before I ask my teammates if it was actually right.

Sorry to llama and my teammates for bailing! I didn't even have time to check in the baddie chat or do anything this game; I was just totally MIA. It started at the absolute worst time for me and I knew I'd be busy but I didn't realize I'd be 16+ hours per day kind of busy with finishing up end of the semester stuff. Then by the time it was all over, I was behind here and way more behind in a game on Bulbagarden, and totally mentally exhausted, so I needed a few days off because I knew I'd have a lot more to do during the rest of May than I anticipated.
